Visited this restaurant on Sunday afternoon without reservation and gave the mixed grill a try. Food was ok, staff friendly and attentive and prices fair.

The pub was nice, good atmosphere and good beer. But there were mice walking around which is honestly pretty disgusting in a restaurant/pub

We were there twice. One time for a drink and the next day for food and drinks. While the first day was good, the second one was 'not so nice'. The woman that served us was very frech, certainly not nett when we wanted to order our food. When confronted she just said: Wir sind nicht nett hier... So we got up and walked away, don't want to be treated like that. Never coming back there again, that's for sure!

Very good German food with low prices. The dishes are very large, tasty, although not that much variety. Service was very quick, friendly and they have English menus. Many locals seem to visit it so you get an authentic German feeling, not another tourist trap.

Without doubt, my favourite place to go in Cologne. Try to get over every year for the markets and always make a bee line for here. Never had one bad meal, the staff make sure you're suitably watered and fed, and the Kolsch is unbeatable. Prices are terrific too. Not been on a match day for a while though, we're always fantastic days.

Gulasch soup extremely tasty with lots of meat. Also ordered schnitzel and a delicious mushroom sauce. Two glasses of thus year's merlot red wine- wonderful flavour.

Wonderful and authentic little pub to visit where the locals go, had a great time here. Staff are very friendly and thank you for visiting. Be careful when you go as when we received our first drinks I went to pay and was simply told no. This gave the impression that they were on the house, however we soon came to realise that you pay once your ready to leave. Price of beer was ok as it cost a little over €6 for 4x0.2 litre glasses of beer.

Honestly I'm supprised about the high grades in reviews. I didn't mind older interier I find that it gives character. I didn't mind a mouse browsing on the floor that was obviously accustomed to the crowd, I've seen them in some other similar weinhouses in Cologne. But the food was just mediocre and I was little dissapointed that they didn't have Schweinshaxe that day (only weekend). The guy that served us was nice and polite. Overall it was not great, not terrible.

Not very good food (or we was just unlucky) but very tasty beer. I guess the best pub in Cologne for watching football games. Just try that beer (on photo) here!

typical Brauhaus in Cologne. Was there mainly to meet friends and have a quick eat - and it was nice. Better review next time...

Great place to eat, with a variety of German cuisine. Hearty portions and reasonable priced drinks. Staff were so helpful with English custom.

A great local pub that seems to have a good crowd every night. The meals are really big and I was unable to finish my giant schnitzel with bernaise sauce. It came with fries and salad.

We've visited Weinhaus Vogel several times in the last few months and have never been disappointed. Be sure to check out their daily specials; they have Currywurst on Saturdays that is an amazing deal!
