I
made
a
non-Refundable
booking
in
July,
1021,
covering
a
stay
in
October
2021,
for
a
trade
show.
This
past
week,
my
flights
with
British
Airways
were
cancelled,
because
of
Covid
related
cutbacks,
totally
out
of
my
control.
I
explained
this
to
the
hotel
clerk,
and
to
Expedia.
The
clerk
gave
me
a
robotic
answer
about
their
non-Refundable
policy,
and
then
Expedia
tried
with
them
as
well,
albeit
with
no
positive
result
from
the
hotel.
Since
I
had
no
alternative
here,
and
was
stuck
covering
a
$1,922
bill,
without
any
option,
the
hotel
should
have
shown
their
understanding
and
cooperation.
They
did
nothing,
which
is
unfair
and
insulting.
We
in
our
company
which
has
been
a
regular
users
of
Wyndham,
will
never
book
for
any
Wyndham
facility,
or
for
their
associated
lodgings,
again.
