Service is good, personnel are very friendly, and the location has quite a few shops and eateries around, in case you want to eat out. Connection to the city by public transport is good too. The rooms are decent and clean, but there were several issues with the double room I stayed in: the shower has very little water pressure, and the protective screen leaks creating puddles underneath and around the toilet, so I had to clean at least 2 huge puddles of water after every shower. Breakfast was included for me, but was served between 6:30 and 7:30, which was definitely too early (be advised, they do serve breakfast on demand at their restaurant, and offer room service and laundry).

Not good. 1. there was a bloodstain on the pillow and the blanket. As well as some dirt. i wonder if Annie is OK？ 2. receptionist guy was not very helpful and also vague in his explanation. 3. breakfast was fine 4. beds were not super comfortable as they are 2 beds pushed together. 5. no bottle opener for the free water. We now know why its free. Thanks for the key. 6. sauna is cold I would rate it 3/8, but since I cannot, I will give it 2/5. Also dead rat outside.

We made a booking and it was accepted immediately, however when we arrived they told us they ran out of extra beds so they didnt have a bed for my daughter. Ofcourse we were not happy at all as it was already late so we needed a place to stay. And besides that, why would you accept a booking when you dont have it available?? We stayed in the lobby to contact other hotels and after an hour or so we found another hotel at 45 minutes driving, so we went to the reception to say we found something else and then a colleague heard us talking and said they still have a extra bed available so we could stay there.. very strange! But because it was already late and we were very tired we decided to take the offer and stay there after all. The room was not bad but the service was awful! they didnt even have some extra towels available, after a couple of hours i went to the reception and they still didnt have it only some very small towels. Very disappointing for a 4 stars hotel and expected some kind of compensation.

bathroom dirty, restaurant very noisy and bright, kitchen not recommended, sauna very low temperature - there showers does not work and dirty, TV only 5 programs in bad quality, parking place not locked, safe not in function -> all in summary NO stars ! not enough staff at reception (not reachable per phone at different times) and service: 1 person per each friendly receptionist at check in

We booked a double bed room, but upon checking in the room, the hotel assigned us to a room with two single separate beds. After calling the receptionist, they just told us we don’t have double beds, just push the two beds to form one big bed. First, why would you advertise rooms with one big bed (1.60m) when you don’t have it? Second, sleeping on two singles beds that are not attached is not a good idea, as the bed would move apart again. All in all, not so happy with how the hotel handled it. It was a bit inconsiderate.

I stayed in the room next to the elevator which made loud noises every time somebody used it. The noise was very loud and the walls vibrated so it was very hard to sleep. The trash bin in the room was not empty but overall the rooms were okay and clean. The glass wall in the shower leaks water on the floor.

Paid for the hotel through their own website with PayPal and got charged for it a second time on my card after checkout . trying to chase it down with them is quite difficult and I am still waiting for a proper response from them. Nobody seems to know where the original payment has gone.

Fine. That’s the word I would use. I came here for a work conference last week, and I was met with an overwhelming sense of meh, which seemed to be consistent with the unenthusiastic staff. The rooms were fine, I was in a worse room to the rest of my colleagues, tucked away at the top of the hotel, so I will caveat my room experience may be worse than most. The breakfast was poor, did not bother having it after the first day. The staff were quite rude, especially the chefs, on the first night we decided to eat in the hotel, and chose to sit down at 8:58pm after a long day, we were met with the chef coming out and shouting at the waitress who sat us down, starting at us with contempt and huffing profusely, we understood at first if the kitchen was supposed to close at 9pm, but we did think why have they let us sit down; we later looked and realised the kitchen closed at 10pm. The reception staff were unhelpful. The only staff member who was good was the waitress behind the bar the nights we stayed, I did not catch her name unfortunately but she was always nice and attentive. Overall, I would say, if you have to go for work, it will do, but if I had to spend anymore than a nights sleep in this place I would opt for something a little better. I will not be staying again.

My short stay of two nights was perfect. It was really hot outside but the air conditioning was working fine. The location was also great as there are supermarkets and restaurants nearby.

This hotel is getting more expensive unfortunately. We stay here twice a year for business purposes. Rooms are a bit dated and service in the hotel bar is not great because of one guy that is serving there all the time.

Ridiculously bare basic hotel. Pillows are just lumps of rags, never seen pillows this old used in any hotels. We chose this hotel for its proximity to the fair grounds. It’s a mistake!! The reason for 2 stars is that the sheets look clean and they put a bottle of water. We asked for extra pillows and were told to come downstairs and get them. And yes the hotel claims to have stars, and 4 of them at that 😒. Location is close to the koelnmesse but the area looks rather bad and not walking distance to anywhere Would never stay here again. If I could cancel the reservation I immediately would.

All in all an average hotel. I saw something about hotel transfer in booking.com and sent request via home page about how it works. Received automatic answer that I will be soon contacted but it never happened. Tried to find transfer from airport but gave up and walked to hotel. It's close and has walkways so not an big issue. Still, if you offer this service then please add clear information where and how it works. Staff was friendly, check-in went fast. Lift (only one was working) was a bit old and made odd noises. Room was a bit oldish but clean. TV didn't work but as I spent only 1 night then I didn't bother to ask to get it fixed. Issue was intermittent picture, like when internet is too slow. Also room was a bit too dark, even if all the light were on. From positive side, room itself was really big, perhaps even twice the size compared to other hotels. Wifi worked fine with decent speed. All in all, not bad experience but perhaps needs some refurbishment to keep up with other hotel with same price range.

The hotel is overall nice however. They did not provide us with a minibar which they said they would. They charge you 13 euros a day for parking (3.20 per hour) which does not include tax. (Not indicated anywhere online) The bathroom smelled like urine and the shower could not stay the same temperature for more then a minute. Besides that is your a gymrat like me you will be severely disappointed by the gym they have in place. Last but not least. As a couple we like to have a king-size bed and not 2 small ones (bit weird if you can indicate you want a couple's room)

When I opened the room I was checked into, someone else’s bags were there. They doubled checked in. Some kind of security… A big No No for me.

We chose this hotel due to the close distance to köln fair. We stayed 5 nights it was clean. There was 2 elevator but one was out of order during our stay and nobody repair it. That’s why we waited long time in order to go to our rooms.

Rooms were small and clean. Breakfast was okay not many options though. For a short period of stay, I would definitely recommend.

No fridge in the room .hotel management is poor receptionist ppl need more training for customer service . Pool area need more attention and renovation. No towels in the pool area

Recently stayed there for couple of days during my Europe visit, they have near and spacious room with decent amenities. Staff are really helpful and friendly. Location is also great with nearby tram and train station. There are plenty of places to eat and shop in walking distance

Good location close to exhibition area, but also easy access to the city center. Room clean, with coffee machine and comfortable bed. Nice small swimming pool and gym.

The overal stay was good, the breakfast is good and they do have a good coffe, quite lot choices of breakfast. However the room is smaller than we expected especially since we had a baby bed set up in our room. The location is 15 mins away from neumarkt by train. There is a supermarket next to the hotel and its a good point.

Best European hotel so far. It said "4 stars", but it's defenetely is up to "5 Stars" when it comes to service. Was here during gamescom and was like supper happy. Service - Awesome. Staff - Awesome, Rooms - Extra clean and cleaned every day if you don't mind, Breakfast - have a big variety of tasty meals. Public transport stops, shops and cafe's are also near. Would 100% try to catch a room here next year.

Air conditioned rooms in a heatwave make this place extra appealing. Solid breakfast, not far from many public transport links, and interesting neighbourhood shops. A good night of sleep was had.

I didn't stay here but I did eat in this excellent establishment. We also dropped in as a group at short notice. Great food and terrific service.

The rooms could include a Minibar. The location is somewhat far from the centre but there is great public transportation. Service was great .

Bright spacious room (on 6th floor) with view of the Cathedral. Motorway traffic noise consistently loud when window was open, no sound when closed. Good choice of different English TV channels! We went down for dinner on Sunday either to eat in the bar or restaurant to find both were closed. However the hotel failed to inform their guests! Being a Sunday in Germany that didn't leave many options. Very infuriating. Otherwise pleasant enough, apart from the weather, which was out of anyone's control!

It is a very nice hotel, definetly worth the price, but with a few details. The shower design that we got in our room was a bit bothering since the water kept coming out through one corner, I think it'd be better if the door covered a bigger are of the Bathtub. The Breakfast Buffet is totally worth it, we had a great meal to start the day and left very satisfied. The beds are comfortable, our room had a very pleasant view and having free coffee at the reception (which by the way is very well decorated) definetly is something to be happy about.

The hotel location is very good and close to public transport. The rooms are large, clean and cozy. Breakfast variety is very fine for the price and the staff are really friendly.

We get the room that have nice view. We stayed about 4 days here, but all the people at the reception desk was very kind and nice. even at the early morning and night. the room was not bad and also clean than other hotels around the cathedral. and there is REWE in front of hotel, so that i can get water or other stuffs more easily. plus, they provides some coffee and cups at the robby that i can enjoy all the time ! it was great time.

One of the best places to ever stay, central and minutes away from hotspots. The service was great and the staff is very friendly especially the receptionist.

The hotel is good & clean rooms, the parking was available at the hotel premises. Breakfast was ok. Except for the receptionist he had 0 customer service & we ask for availability the next day and he didn’t want to take the reservation even when there were availability. But the girl at the reception the next morning wanted to make a reservation but it was too late as we booked another already..

Hotel was very clean, friendly and lovely staff. Parking available. Very good location, we didn't used owr car there because the bus and train station are less than 3 min from hotel. We will be there again soon.
