Stayed here for 6 days during our visit to Cologne for Gamescom. Place was very easy to find, we arrived late at night and was greeted by a lovely staff member who was extremely helpful and went above and beyond for us. Sadly cannot remember his name. We were situated in the apartments just on the side of the hotel. Very clean and pleasant rooms. Extremely comfy beds and lots of little extras such as a safe, fridge and tv. Hotel is very close to lots of popular spots to visit, only a few steps away from the chocolate museum (well worth a visit!). When we return next year we will be definitely staying here again.

This was a great hotel in Cologne. The hotel is right on the Rhein, so opening the windows provides a nice breeze. It's very easy to walk to anywhere in the Aldstadt from the Allegro (we just walked straight up the Rhein for a few minutes to get to/from the train station). Clean, relatively spacious rooms, and free wifi.

It's OK, even tho I expected more from a 4* hotel. If you go to see the city just by walking I would recommend a more centric hotel, but the place is still good - close to the chocolate museum. Breakfast is quite expensive (24€), not that I cannot afford it as the hotel unpolitly suggested, but because I've been in 5* hotels with breakfast at 27€ and 4* hotels at 15-17€. Beds are comfortable. Decoration and ambiance nothing special. View to the river is OK because I was there in winter. I believe when the trees are full with leaves they'll block the view.

Perfect stay. The breakfast is a highlight with FRESH orange juice and home made compot. Rooms are very comfortable. Enough space and amenities. Free drinks in the minibar, good light, spacious shower. I have been in many hotels in Germany. This one is the best. A plus is the view of the river and the trees. It is in a nice area close to the city centre. You can walk to the dome, Museum Ludwig, the train station and the chocolate museum. Staff is very polite a d professional. Top!

Cute old-fashioned hotel. Our room had a small window facing the river, and a massive bathroom with both a shower and a tub. The wifi is free and fast, and the location can't be critiqued in any way. Would recommend.

Nice hotel, nice staff, very good breakfast. Rooms with a view on the Rhine, but rather noisy when the windows are opened (only then).

Friendly staff, good room, wifi works great. Streetside is noisy, but closing the window isolates a lot of the noise.
