Room: Its not even worth of even 1 stars however, I gave it because of cleanliness and availibility of parking places. The receptionist was very arrogant and unfriendly. Breakfast: Worst experience ever. We shocked to see that in the breakfast, breads were spoiled by fungus. We showed this to receiptionist and she was like OK. This happens and she even did not apologise for it. DISGUSTING...The coffe machine was not working. When complained she did something and started working. No latte macchiato available because there were no big cups available. Not recommended at all.

This hotel is exactly what you think it will be, bright, clean and budget. The room is small with an en suite shower and separate bathroom but is not unpleasantly small. Staff were very friendly and a lovely addition to the experience. The breakfast was clean, fresh and basic. 5minutes from the tram stop and a McDonald's within walking distance! What more do you need! Lovely basic hotel for a few days in Cologne.

We used this hotel for transit. For the purpose the hotel fit fine. Since we were a bit late, the check in was via a machine, which is pretty straightforward and unique ! The breakfast was better than other ibis budget hotels i have stayed in. The room was as expected and adequate. The location is in an industrial zone which is convenient for transit but not that great.

I regret booking this hotel. 89 euros for 2 adults and a children with breakfast was too much to sleep in a rock solid bed with a pillow as thin as paper. 2 stars because of the good staff and breakfast.

Cheap, clean and convenient. I’ve used this hotel numerous times over the last 10years to break up my drive from the UK to Austria. Automated check-in if you arrive after 10pm. Basic breakfast, don’t tend to bother. Bed is comfortable. Great commuter hotel, very close to the motorway network. Would recommend if no luxuries are required.

Hotel fits to its category. Clean, practical. Rooms were even a bit bigger as I expected. Breakfast really solid for the price. Very negative are thé unfriendly employees. Compared to all other chains in this price range I have never seen so unfriendly people. I'll come again and recommend the hotel overall, but better to use automated check in instead of speaking to receptionist.

Central location, train and shopping access. Amazed at the totally ridiculous negative reviews. People...this is a one star hotel not a 5 star Hilton. If you have half a brain you can check in without involving staff via the app or online website. The fixtures and shower stall set up was installed and set up fine, no problems. Rooms are very basic meaning a bed, chair, TV and desk. Toilet stall and separate shower stall. The window requires being used to the common European double pane style latch. Turn the handle one way the wondow swings open, other way and it tilts forward. If you do it wrong and cause it to move out of position it won't close. This is not a window issue but human error. The front desk is 6.30am - 11am and 5pm to 10pm 7.30am -11am weekends and holidays. Check in as early as 2pm (via kiosk requires credit card) and check out time is 12.00 noon. Breakfast for 7euros is a steal as its all you can eat and drink. Pkenty of selection and value for 7e. Don't like it or want more a short 5 minute walk down the street is a huge Edeka and bakery with hot egg breakfast, pastries and breads. Much better bargain than 15e breakfast as nearby Mercure hotel. Parking is free but limited space but overflow parking is free in front of hotel on the street. The area is safe and free from crime. You get what you pay for, only a fool what complain about minor issues and self created problems It's very clear check in is 14.00 not earlier and the front desk is not open till 5pm. Again this is a 1 star hotel if you dont like the rules go down the street to Mercure and pay double the rate. Breakfast is what you pay for a bargain and unless your overweight or extremely talll the beds are perkfect. For the dumb and blind the sign out front shows the daily rate for a single (1 person) room. The second price is cost to add a person NOT the full rate of a double room.

Worst hotel I have ever been tot. The 1/5 star is well deserved. We had to check in before 12:00 but because we had some problems with the public transport we were there at 12:03. That stupid check-in computer would not allow us to check in before 14:00. What was Worse, there was a staffmember behind the desk just Starring at us. Het also refused to let us in. Even though our room was ready and all...the computer simply said no. When we wanted to checkout we had to take all our luggage with us. Because the hotel would be unmanned and the computer would say no again. What was also bothering me. Outside the hotel there was a sign which said that there 2 person rooms available from €12,- per person. Is booked over a month in advance and paid 2.5x that ammount. Like the computer hadn't rip us enough. The hotel itself was also not that good. The 2 person bed and the cover were extremely small. There was a 3rd bunkbed above it. The toilet lights were always on. And the cussions were flat and too soft. The cleaning lady opened the door without knocking. The breakfast was also meh. There were no croissants. And the other bread..some were dry and really Discusting. Others were hard or chewy. I am not a difficult eater. But this bread .. I will not ever visit any Ibis hotel ever again. And I recommend others to avoid Ibis as well. Bad staff, bad breakfast and horrible check-in computer which will simply say no when hou are just 3m to late

The recipients were polite and helpful. Quiet and close to shops. The room is small. No elevator.

👍👍 An incredible place with a great collection of cars to buy and admire. It is completely free to enter something that absolutely blew my mind considering it houses the Michael Schumacher Private collection museum.
