Beautiful hotel in residential area. Very quiet. Spacious room. Great supply of toiletries. Coffee maker in room and mini bar. 20 min walk from the cathedral and station. Close to river with nice views and lovely promenade. Hotel staff friendly and helpful

Booked our stay at this place for a long weekend getaway and must say, we were totally impressed. Hotel stay is not new to me, but one with almost nothing to complain about, is extremely rare. Started with the smooth check-in process - it was seamless and quick. We had booked an apartment for a family of 4. The beds for the kids were already made. The apartment was spacious enough for free movement, well lit and had large windows. The service of the staff was impressive throughout - this includes the staff at the reception and at the restaurant. The staff was happy to accommodate special requests - like they said I could work from their pub, which would be closed at the hours I needed, so I could get a strong WiFi signal. When I chose to work from the room, the lady at the reception, upon request, promptly restarted the router to get the connection up and stable. Spread of the breakfast was good and met expectations with taste. It's not common that you are offered supplies in the mini bar complementary and also refilled daily. This is besides the coffee supplies. Overall, a pleasant stay and wonderful experience. If I had to complain, the shampoo and conditioner cans were empty, however, housekeeping was prompt to replenish it. Wish the curtains covered the windows beyond the edges, to prevent sunlight from coming in.

Room was okay, nothing great, nothing bad. The only thing to mention that I was not aware of until I put the hotel into Waze is that hotel is inside the Umweltzone. The hotel did not seem to mention this - it was not on the booking process, confirmation email, or any of the follow up emails I received. Even putting the hotel into Google Maps after booking did not tell me this. Waze told me 4 hours before I was due to arrive. There should be better communication of this, especially given nearby P+R parkings are also inside the zone. EDIT: The reply trying to justify that "the Umweltzone has been in place for 10 years" does not make sense as someone who has not visited Cologne before. I could just as easily say that when checking in and filling out the guest forms, the hotel should know my address - I've had it for 10+ years...

Basically a hotel for businessmen who just want a basic room for the night. Zero frills. All rooms have only single beds that they push together if a double is booked. Location central enough.

Surprisingly comfortably rooms. The interior looks much better than the outside. Confusing check-in process as you have to go over the road to the 'other' Mercure hotel. Basic but comfortable. Recent refurbishment it would appear.

Great location for my needs.. quite disappointed to be staying in a separate building to the main one but other than that the service has been good. Tried to extend my days but unfortunately sold out. The bar and restaurant is good. Could do with some more options for the restaurant as it was very limited The room is good.. slightly dated.. lamps falling apart. Not enough plugs next to the bed.. bathroom was clean..

Not far away (20 min on foot) from the Koelnmesse makes it a good place to stay if you're visiting the expo. Koeln cathedral is pretty close by too. Kitchen is decent, be sure to try the goulash soup (but stay away from the burger).

Bar and restaurant were closed for the weekend, we only found this out on arrival. Other that that a decent hotel. Breakfast was good. Location is close to the river, about a 15 minute walk from the Cathedral.

Very bad hotel with no internet and no air condition will check out from the first day not recommended at all

Nice hotel for business travel … located in a nice quiet neighborhood but close to all the attractions in Cologne … I really recommend it

Good swimming pool. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed during the weekend. I woke up at 6 am because of a truck unloading down in my window, not what I was expecting.

Hotel should stop misleading customers that they can book a double bed room. Booked few nights stay with a double bed and got twin room with 2 single beds pushed up together. When asked at the reception been told that this is the only double bed option hotel offers. False advertising. Spent days on separate beds like strangers and hotel tried to add breakfast charge to our booking even tho we never even stepped foot in their restaurant. On the last day even tho you can check out till 12pm you get cleaners knocking up your door every 5 minutes even if u tell them you are not ready yet.

Excellent experience at the hotel during a company trip. Very communicative and helpful staff at the front desk. They were so nice to even remember my birthday and give a congratulations card☺️☺️ I hole heartedly recommend! Regards to the front desk from Poland!

Comfortable spacious room. They didn't have daily cleaning, due to Covid on 03/2022 they say! Poor social area. Good breakfast.

Breakfast was very poor and bar area closed. Limited amenities were taken out. No iron in room and the hotel is seperated into two parts seperated by a road.

This is a solid Mercure. Location is a bit off the main streets, but you can reach restaurants easily in walking distance, and the center is easily reachable by scooter or a longer walk. At night time it is a bit dark in the street around the hotel, so walking may be not perfect after sunset, but the area is safe

Great hotel with rooms that must have been newly refurbished, they were spotless. Breakfast was excellent with a great choice and staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was a little tricky to find as its located inside an office/apartment building. The hotel is well located near attractions and close to the train station. The room was beautiful! We enjoyed the kitchen and it was well stocked with cooking supplies. The bathroom was wonderful with a towel warming bar. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel, rooms and breakfast are good. Location is also ok. Quiet rooms. Coffee making facilities and one of the few bottles with a swimming pool. Check in and check out times are significantly higher than other hotels . Typically takes more than 15/20 mins to make a check in/out. If they could improve aspect I would rate this as 4.5 stars

Clean and comfortable. Decent location and not too far from the city.

Very convenient, easy to park, fast check in and check out. Rooms on top floor come with complimentary minibar and a bathtub, and a coffee and tea maker (similar to nespresso). There where plenty of coffee capsules. The minibar came with 3bottles of sparkling water, a coke and an apple juice. Breakfast is so so, sausage beans and eggs, bread and yogurt. Can be a bit crowded. Taxi to city centre is under 10 euros or a 20 minute walk. The room heating is adjustable fan based system. The radiator did not work. It was possible to open the window to get outside air.

Not a good experience. Traditionally small rooms as per normal standards in the region. Customer experience is really bad. Two different hotel buildings without any connectivity between two buildings. Reception team was having unpleasant attitude. No directional signs. Rooms even had door lock problem. You get checked in through main building and you are unlucky and got a room in second building then you have to drag your luggage to other building by crossing small road.
