I got hit in the face and the bouncer laughed. I, a 1,60m woman, was hit in the face and he did NOTHING. This place is not safe for women, don't go there!!! I was waiting in line with my friends and a group tried to cut the line. They heard us speaking English and said we were dirty and should go back to our countries. I was completely shocked, I didn't even understand what was going on, and out of the blue I was punched in the face. The bouncer saw everything and did nothing. I've never felt so bad in my life.

We were looking for a great night out at this spot. Yet, upon trying to enter, the bouncer told us we are not allowed as we were only guys, while women were able to enter. In a world striving for equality so much, Flotte still lives in the 20th century. What an absolute joke of a place.

Fun English style pub. Beer was good and decent price. Fun night time atmosphere, did not try eating here.

Flotte is xenophobic and racist, I will never go again to this place! We were in the queue to get in, and some people wanted to skip the line, but we said in English that they couldn’t, so they started to say to us that we must speak German or leave their country, and a lot of bad stuff. They were aggressive, then we defended ourselves and the security didn’t help us. It took long time to do something, a guy that saw everything talked to security, and then they expelled 2, but not the rest, it was at least 5 people doing that with us. In the end we left the place, because it was a very humiliating situation.

Takes herself 5-10 Euro tips with the argument she usually gets this as a tip without asking. Not recommended

We come here for years. Its crazy. Just Karneval every day of the year. Its great fun. Switch off your brain and enjoy. The bouncer are really great. Never ever would you expect to make jokes with them before you enter the location. Please keep it like that <3 Ah ja, people do steal here. We "lost" phones and wallets over the years. But this is just how it is in big cities. Not any different to other clubs in the world.

Good place to have fun good music dance but do not expect much from service as is the case in most parts of germany.

Really nice Kölsch bar with nicer old music. Generally throwback music mixed with schlager and Karneval music. Beer prices good. 22€ for 1 kranz. (11 little beers)

Crazy bar with crazy crowd on Friday. We were dancing on the top of pool table so was cool. Good music too..

Fun pub, loud music, all the golden hits of 2002, dancing, the odd beer getting spilled on you, meeting random people in the smoking area outside - great place if you're in that kinda mood :)

The place is very nice. Is a little expensive but the meat flavor of the hamburger is very very good

Found out about Flotte during Karneval and the atmosphere in there is amazing. Solid prices and good music picks too :)

Had a great time at "The Flotte". The music was a lot different from most nightclubs and I loved the way it was designed. Very oldschool, even cosy at times. Also found €20 outside on the boardwalk. All of this made it a night I'm not going to forget very soon.

Last stop for the night, if you are still sober take a quiet corner otherwise your outfit gets wet from Kölsch constantly due to ufo shaped Kölsch plates

I was there for Karneval. I have to say it was packed, I'm not sure you are allowed to have that many people inside. Amazing atmosphere but we had to leave because we couldn't breath
