Bester Steak den ich bis jetzt in Deutschland gegessen hab! Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und die Location sehr gemütlich . Sehr empfehlenswert für einen Dinner zu zweit , Businessdinner oder einfach nur für die Geburtstagsfeier. Top! ????????

Wir waren gestern im Steakhouse, zum ersten und zum letzten Mal. Obwohl es kaum besucht war, haben wir gut 15 Minuten am Eingang warten müssen um einen Tisch zugewiesen zu bekommen, direkt mit dem Hinweis das wir spätestens in 1 1/2 Stunden den Tisch räumen müssen, da es sehr voll wäre und alle Tische reserviert sind. Nach einer chaotischen Bestellung, Tomaten Suppe Samstag Mittag um 16 Uhr ausverkauft, dauerte es über eine Stunde bis das Essen am Tisch war. Ich orderte direkt eine Portion Pommes nach, was im 3. Versuch dann nach über 15 Minuten endlich vom 3. Kellner nicht ignoriert wurde. In der kompletten Zeit war nicht ein mal eine Bedienung am Tisch um zu fragen ob wir noch etwas zu trinken möchten. Als wir beim bezahlen, was auch erst im 3. Versuch klappte, sagten was uns nicht gefallen hatte, bot man uns ein Getränk als Entschuldigung. 1 Kaffee, 1 Cappuccino und 1 Cola. Die Bedienung kommt mit 3 Cola, mit dem Hinweis das die Kaffeemaschine defekt ist. Für das beste Steakhouse 2020 ein trauriges Bild. Eine Sache gibt es doch noch - die Qualität des Fleisches war eine der Besten die ich je gegessen habe.

Es war erst etwas schwierig einen Angestellten zu finden, der uns einen Tisch zuweist. Irgendwann kümmerte sich dann eine junge Damen um uns. Wir nahmen Platz und bekamen die Karte. Die Bestellung unserer US Beef Ribeye Steaks war dann sehr hakelig, da die Angestellte offensichtlich schwer mit dem Terminal zu kämpfen hatte. Zu viel Gerödel für eine derart kleine Bestellung. Das Fleisch kam noch vor dem Besteck. Bei meiner Begleitung fehlten die Saucen, was uns recht egal war. Statt selbständig nachzuliefern fragte man uns ob die eine Portion reicht. Stattdessen kam eine Kräuterbutter zu viel, was wir direkt reklamierten. Die Angestellte wirkte zerrissen und wollte die zuviel gebrachte Butter weder abräumen noch sie kommentarlos da lassen. Am Ende blieb sie stehen. Ich wies meine Begleitung noch darauf hin, dass ich wetten Abschließen würde, dass die Butter am Ende sogar berechnet wird. Aber langsam. Das Fleisch kommt auf heißen Steinen, was für unsere Ribeyes eine gute Idee ist. So konnte ich mich selber für den perfekten Gargrad entscheiden. Der Herr am Nebentisch, dessen Rumpsteak doppelt so hoch wie breit war bekam auf seinen Einwand, wie er das denn nun gescheit auf den richtigen Garpunkt bringen sollte, nur ein Schulterzucken und den Hinweis er könne ja einen weiteren Stein nachordern, der dann wieder heiß ist. Interessant dann auch das Schauspiel am Nebentisch, bei dem der Kellner zwar genauestens darüber aufklären konnte, wie es um den Laktosegehalt der Saucen bestellt ist, die Meerrettich Sauce dann aber dennoch dem Laktoseunverträglichen auftischt, der sie dann auch probiert. Gott behüte, wenn die Jungs hier mal nen Allergiker haben. Naja, mein Steak war jedenfalls prima und der Hauptgrund für die 3 Sterne. Gutes, hochwertiges US Beef. Und tatsächlich, im Abaccos kann man sowohl die Side Dishes als auch die heißen Platten unbegrenzt nachbestellen....wäre Pfiffig, wenn denn ein Angestellter da gewesen wäre um diese Bestellung entgegen zu nehmen. Bei uns lies sich keiner mehr sehen, bis alles ratzekahl aufgegessen war. Jetzt könnte man meinen, die Angestellten hätten zu viel zu tun. Mit nichten. Es war 16 Uhr am Nachmittag und der Laden war größtenteils leer. Es waren auch genug Mitarbeiter da, die waren aber nicht bei uns. Der Mann am Nebentisch war jedenfalls so forsch sich einen Kellner lautstark herbei zu zitieren um dort eine Pommes nachzubestellen. Die waren aber 15 Minuten später immer noch nicht da. Auf Reklamation aufgrund des mittlerweile durchgebratenen Fleisches des Herren gabs innerhalb von einer Minute Pommes und wieder besagtes Schulterzucken. Am Schluss bekamen wir dann statt des geforderten Bewirtungsbeleges das Terminal mit dem Endpreis hingehalten. Wir fragten nach der Kräuterbutter und die nette Angestellte ruderte, gab aber an die Butter nicht berechnet zu haben. Nach dem Bewirtungsbeleg mussten wir dann nochmal fragen und die Angestellte machte den Eindruck den nicht ganz freiwillig zu bringen. Etwas später kam sie dann und merkte vor der Übergabe an, die Kräuterbutter doch berechnet zu haben. Wir ließen uns die 2,90€ wieder auszahlen. Natürlich aus Prinzip. Das Trinkgeld, welches der Anstand gebietet darf sie behalten. War ja sonst ganz nett. Tja, wir kommen nicht wieder. Schade. Zeigt wieder wie wichtig es ist, dass Qualität, Ambiente und Service ineinander greifen. Hier ist das Produkt gut und Dass Ambiente gut, wenn man es mag. Ein weiterer Minuspunkt für die leider zumeist nur lauwarmen Beilagen (Pommes / Gemüse), sowohl bei der Erstbestellung als auch bei Nachbestellungen. Meiner Meinung nach muss bei den (in meinen Augen) gehobenen Preisen das Gesamtpaket stimmen. Und das tut es leider nicht. Irgendwann werde ich dem Laden sicherlich nochmals eine Chance geben und sehen ob sich entsprechende Verbesserungen eingestellt haben.
