Most of the pocket watches here are a mis-match of unknown brands and possible knock-offs. It was like they just collected pocket watches and threw them in there. I came in asking specifically for gold, not gold plated pocket watches. The clerk did not know how to tell. I opened the back of the pocket watch and the clerk was surprised and asked me how I opened it and could tell it was an English brand. I wouldn’t necessarily go here thinking any of their jewelry are particularly vetted to NOT be knock-offs. The only thing I will give them is that they have a huge collection of random things. I would count this store as an actual antique store and not a jewelry store.

We wanted to buy an antique diamond ring. Our children joined but were not sitting still and touched glass. The owner was quite agressive indicating we need to "restrain our children" and they would break the glass. Children are children and things like this can be communicated in a much less agressive way. Also one of their friends that were in the shop started commenting something about "tourists" not realising I understood. That was completely over it. If it weren't for tourism they can kiss incomes goodbye. When I commented o this the owner started yelling at me!!!! What a very very bad experience. Rude, thoughtless, judgmental and full of hate. go spend your money elsewhere, they don't deserve it. I seldom leave bad reviews as I know there is always context, and i own my own business myself, but this was such an awful experience it has to be told.
