The place is really nice and homely and the people of the homestay they are welcoming and good. The food was delicious and came with generous portion. Rooms and toilets are clean and big. But there is no internet connectivitiy in that place.

This is a really good exotic hotel to stay in Tinchuley.It has a really large area.with variety of room facilities.offers good discount in off seasons as well.a feluxe room can cost around 1000 in off season.They have a really beautiful view surronded by woods and mountains with a balcony from where you can emjoy the beauty.But the mobile connection here is not good.and wifi may also be mot available.So be ready to spend a nature friendly solitary blissful weekend jere.This place will not dissappoint you.Its right in the abode of mother nature.also there are some cool places to visit and the viallagers are also very courtious. Ps. : Dont go alone in the woods alone.Tigers and other wild animal roam around in the woods.And even if you go you must carry some heavy metal or stick woth you for protection.

What can I say about this place! Just amazing. They literally made us feel like home. Ohh, the food was so tasty and delicious. Those honey and pickle are really something. The family members are the staff and they treated us as a part of their family. The rooms are nice and well cleaned. The owner Mr. Gurung and his Aunt along with other members are a wonderful host. I will love to visit again. Thank You for your hospitality.

We stayed 2 nights here. The place is in nature’s lap. The guest house is wonderful. Rooms are pretty large. Also huge amounts of rooms are available. The service was very professional. Foods were very tasty with a classic start of ghee and rice. Only drawback is there is no view of Kanchenjunga from this guest house. You have to walk 15-20 minutes to a view point to see the Kanchenjunga. I will suggest everyone to try this place.

I am in love with the place and also the Guest House. People out there are so welcoming and warm that you feel being at home. The guest house is served with all modern amenities. The rooms are big, clean and with breathtaking views. The food served here are mouthwatering, specially the Tibetan breakfast. Mr. Gurung is a great man. He takes initiative to interact with the visitors, explains and answers all the queries. Had an awesome experience here.

The distance of Tinchul is about 75 km from Siliguri NJP. Tinchule's panoramic natural beauty, lush green tea plantations, and orchid flowers will win the hearts of tourists. Located at an altitude of about 4000 feet. The music of different birds, the pure form of springs, the thick misty roads and the heritage bungalows through the forest – these are the attractions of Tinchul. From Tinchule, tourists can travel to Tara, Darjeeling's scenic tea gardens, Rangli Rangliout tea gardens, Gil, Namring and Pabong tea gardens etc. Just below the Pabong Tea Gardens is a 100-year-old cable-joined suspension bridge built in 1916. For a guest house on a jungle, it's a very nice place. No 5 STAR facilities, simple living, simple but Yummy food. The open deck outside the rooms for evening bonfire is excellent. Food is chargeable oa a per day per head basis. Courteous staff but not easily accessible at call. Definitely recommend for a 1-2 night stay.

The guest house is located at a remote place with tranquility as an offering. You must enjoy nature to enjoy the resort. The rooms with wooden floors and walls are made with taste. Food is good, hygienic and more or less tasty. They have a lot of power backup which is a must in this area. The guest hosue have enough space for kids to play around. They also arrange for bon fire if asked.

From the warmth of the staffs to the view, location,rooms, foods everything was picture perfect...its a serene place...in monsoon looks like a paradise, not to mention that in winter it will be more beautiful. Will visit again in winter. Lots of love to the members of Gurung guest house.❤️

An amazing place with awesome hospitality. Home away from home in truest sense. Can't thank them enough. The food demands a special clap , so so so tasty and in general everything so well managed. We should specially thank all of them for taking care of us like anything and undoubtedly for tolerating all our tantrums and nuisance and ofc nonstop talking 😂.

This is a beautiful homestay in a beautiful place. Anyone can spend quality time here with delicious food and pleasant surrounding though net connection is very poor. Still a good place to spend two days in nature.

Stayed in Gurung Guest House for two days last week and I must say it was an amazing experience. All the stuffs are so friendly and the food is absolutely amazing. If u have habit of wasting food unnecessary be aware, bhaiyya (cook) will keep repeating "khaiye na" in the cutest way possible, just like ur mother do in home🥺♥️. Room was comfy, washroom was super clean and the view from window was amazing. Lastly u might get lucky to able to play with Leo 🐶🐾 coz he is a price charming and give attention to only few people he likes.

Rooms are very well maintained but food as per homestay is the worst at Tinchuley,takdah. Stuff’s behaviour like they are considering to stay at their hotel…. They have no responsibility to take your call after accepting advance token money from you…. If you stay here don’t take their fooding…

In a word, EXCELLENT. We stayed in a 4 bedded room.The location, view from room, the room itself plus the bathroom, delicious food, and most importantly, the warm hospitality of Mr Dipen Gurung and staff, when combined together, is something I have not experienced before. Pick up and drop plus sightseeing are arranged on request. Meals are included and tariff is very reasonable. A perfect place to visit, for someone wanting to experience The Sound Of Silence in the lap of Mother Nature.

The location and rooms are perfectly placed with all basic facilities available all the time . The food is simply lip-smacking and delicious. Stayed for 3 nights... Amazing experience amidst mountains. We were 8 families and had great view from all 8 rooms. Mr Gurung met us once and made us feel very homely. Except the manager, everybody was very caring and overwhelming - especially Rajendar who always had a smiling face and did everything possible to make our stay special. Food there was fresh, mouth-watering and always on time. The guest house has everything beyond expectation in such a place. Hope to be there soon again.

Did a week of Work from mountain at this lovely place comfortably stay in the lapses of nature, service is fantastic, the boys taking care of the property is very friendly and king as well as the owner. And the food is so good and homely.

Stayed in a Super-deluxe room. Large, well furnished, clean room, with a good sized cupboard - which is often overlooked even in more expensive places. Good service with attendants very friendly and cooperative. Food is homely and delicious. Moreover, they actually keep on coaxing you to have more. Wonderful overall experience

If you want to really stay in a homestay, be prepared to stay in one of the authentic homestay in Tinchuley. I have no words to express how wonderful is the hospitality of Mr. Gurung and his family. The accommodation, food, ambiance; each and every thing calls for appreciation. The food is delicious, and the thing is most of the ingredients are grown in their farms. Could not expect a better host and homestay in the quite yet exotic village Tinchuley.

If ' Athithi debo Vaba' had a face, this would be Gurung Homestay and its people ! Excellent stay with warm and homely people trying their best to take care of you! I loved the experience.. Hospitality is very good.. but one problem I faced.. hotel staff were knocking door in anytime for anything. I don't know their policy. It was disturbing.

Stayed between 13th March 2020 till 16th March morning with my family in their cottage and the overall experience was superb. The behaviour of the staffs, their politeness are really praise worthy. very good hospitality overall. Not to forget the awesome and delicious food that they offer to all their guests.
