I
needed
to
book
some
12
to
16
rooms
for
a
December
family
function
and
my
internet
research
led
me
to
the
Grand
Inn.
It
had
a
commendable
rating
and
high-quality
reviews.
The
location
and
budget
were
exactly
what
I
was
looking
for
and
that
made
me
walk
up
to
the
hotel
to
check
the
rooms.
Spick
and
span
rooms,
a
good
ambiance,
basically
it
was
everything
I
was
looking
for.
The
manager
was
polite
and
showed
us
around.
On
asking
the
cost
for
the
bulk
booking,
he
said
that
he
will
get
in
touch
with
his
owner
and
revert
back
by
EOD.
I
was
happy.
This
was
1st
March
2021.
Since
I
did
not
hear
back
from
the
manager
or
owner,
the
next
morning,
I
called
up
the
owner
at
a
number
that
was
provided
to
me.
This
was
9:30
am
and
I
was
told
that
the
business
was
now
handled
by
the
person’s
son
and
that
he
would
call
me
back.
I
waited
but
did
not
receive
any
call.
I
then
called
the
owner’s
son
at
a
number
given
to
me
by
the
manager.
The
call
was
unanswered.
Despite
multiple
calls
in
the
day,
the
owner’s
son
did
not
have
the
coursey
to
take
the
calls
or
even
reply
with
a
text.
I
then
decided
to
do
away
with
the
idea
of
taking
rooms
in
this
place.
Post
that,
I
get
a
call
from
someone
who
claimed
to
be
a
friend
of
the
owner’s
son
and
stating
that
he
was
the
rightful
owner
now.
He
claimed
that
he
was
in
the
dark
and
that
the
manager
had
given
me
the
wrong
visiting
card.
Here
are
some
highlights
of
the
day
to
illustrate
the
poor
management
of
the
Grand
Inn.
If
the
owner
had
changed,
how
is
it
that
the
first
person
I
spoke
to
claimed
to
be
the
owner?
How
is
it
that
the
manager
does
not
know
who
his
employer
is?
If
the
business
has
employers
in
responsible
positions
who
hand
out
wrong
visiting
cards
then
that
is
a
cause
of
bigger
concern.
Both
the
persons
who
claimed
to
be
the
owner
(person
A:
The
man
I
called
who
said
that
the
business
was
now
handled
by
his
son
&
person
B:
Who
called
saying
he
was
a
friend
of
the
ex-owners
son)
said
that
they
did
not
get
any
information
about
this
deal
from
the
manager.
This
happened
despite
the
manager
promising
me
that
he
will
speak
to
the
owner
by
EOD
the
previous
day.
My
purpose
in
renting
the
rooms
was
for
my
wedding
baraat.
If
this
is
how
they
treat
me
before
making
the
payment,
I
wonder
how
they
would
have
treated
my
guests
on
my
wedding
day.
It
was
a
lucky
save
as
the
Grand
Inn
showed
its
true
colors
early.
I
recommend
that
none
of
you
consider
booking
at
this
place,
definitely
not
if
it
is
a
bulk
booking
or
if
the
event
is
important
to
you.
