Great hotel close to the airport. The staff was always happy to help and very friendly. They let us stay with our bags in a common area many hours after our checkout due to my wife and I having a late flight. That type of service is appreciated. The room was clean and the balcony was a great addition that we didn’t have in any other hotel we stayed in during our time in India. The only slightly negative was the bed was quite hard. If your used to that, you might not notice, but when your used to a soft bed, it was a bit uncomfortable 😅 But all in all a great place. Would recommend.

I have been to a few hotels in Kolkata and I was not satisfied with most of them until I found this beautiful and clean guest house. Since I arrived here, the friendly staff welcomed us in such a nice manner. When I arrived at the guest house, I felt this is the kind of guest house I have been looking for. The staff were friendly, very helpful and very kind. They provided us with an excellent room, breakfast and room services. What I really like about this guest house is the services and the peaceful and quiet environment they provided us. As we really enjoyed staying here, we stayed over a month here and will definitely come back when we visit Kolkata again. It was one of my best experiences staying in the hotel. Excellent stay for connecting flight. Most of the airport hotel at Kolkata offers cheap rates and some of them even offers free airport shuttle or free breakfast but after reaching hotel, we come to know we have been scammed. We generally ignores as we only had to spend few hours or donot mind spending only few hours in such bad situation. We were very worried to go to nearby hotel due to their bad rating. This guest house had good rating so we called this hotel. Owner talked very politely, even though it was early morning for them. We were offered a double bed room for 1800 for almost 6 hours, but it is worth. Ola taxi costs around INR 350 one way from airport. The time we reach hotel, all the staffs were very polite and helpful. They helped to send our languages to our room. The room and bed was clean. Bed was hard but it was OK to sleep. Pillows were too high, hotel owner has told he will look into the height of the pillows. 1 towel, soap, shampoo pouch were provided. AC and TV were working fine. Our room had balcony too. We had very nice sleep before taking our connecting flight. The owner arranged for return ola taxi, it tool INR 219 for return to airport. Breakfast for 2 persons were good and tea and coffee were also given on request. They (breakfast 410, tea 60 and coffee 200) were expensive but it is worth they deliver to our room and we donot have to go out everytime Overall, highly recommended to stay here for connecting flight, specially if family members are together. We had a little transit in Kolkata so we decided to stay at the Krishna Kunja Guest House for a few hours. The location is quite close to the airport and this is helpful since Kolkata has lots of traffic during peak hours and it is difficult to get to places on time. The rooms were clean and the place gives you very homely vibes. It is a family friendly place and very spacious rooms. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful with our luggage and helped us to arrange transport. Breakfast was provided and it was super fresh and yum especially the fruit plate and omelettes. Thank you Krishna Kunja for a pleasant stay. If we are back in Kolkata in the future, we will stay at your guest house again.

Great place to stay. Extremely helpful staff. Rooms were clean and tidy. It was cleaned everyday. Evenings they lit up agarbattis and it smells amazing. Wifi has good speed , I was able to work and attend calls parallely with no delay. It's located in a peaceful neighborhood. Walkable distance to a major shopping complex. Good restaurants in swiggy to deliver here. Nearby to Airport. Uber, Rapido were easily available. All in all a wonderful experience. From checkin to checkout. I would highly recommend this guest house to both families and bachelors.

Great place to stay if you're looking to get a tidy, nice and well maintained hotel on a budget half n hour from the airport. Been there for 4 times now and every time I'm very happy with their rooms and service. We didn't order food from the menu card in the room, we opted for Zomato. So we haven't tasted the food that they offer. But rooms were tidy, beds were clean, good amenities within the price range, great service and good behaviour from the staff. In my first stay, I accidentally broke a glass but nobody told me anything and everyone was still polite but I just had to pay 200 INR extra for the glass (which I already expected) and that was all. In my last stay, they also upgraded my room for free. I booked a room without balcony but they provided me a room with balcony for some reason with no extra charge. . This place is great. I've hardly noticed any bad things about it to point out. Everything has been very good so far and I'm looking to visit again.

A great place to stay for a family holiday! We i.e. family of seven stayed there in Jan, 2023 for a week and immensely enjoyed the stay. Mr. Somnath Bhattacharya and his team maintains the place very efficiently. They made our stay very pleasant and enjoyable. Very thoughtfully they gave all the three rooms in the same floor which was very convenient for us. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. Breakfast served was sumptuous with mishti everyday which was delightful. I recommend this guesthouse wholeheartedly to any one with family or a group or traveling alone as well.

Comfortable stay and great staff. Bed was good enough, had a balcony and a mini fridge. Fairly good location, several good options in the area and not too far from the airport. Power points in the room were in odd locations, as was the mini fridge, kind of in the way when you're getting out of bed. Perhaps the layout works better in a king setup rather than twin. Good spot though at a fair price for what you get.

A guesthouse with the heart and soul of Kolkata. This beautiful guest house is located in a lovely quiet area yet within walking distance to the main shops and malls and restaurants. Rooms are very comfortable with all amenities and wifi and air-conditioned. So neat and clean. In addition to the delicious food it's the staff and owners who ensures that the hotel is a quality hotel with a family atmosphere and helpful friendly assistance with great smiles making sure that the guests are well looked after. In fact besides helping me as a foreigner with travel arrangements and assistance, they even celebrated my birthday with cake and lovely birthday wishes. This is my home in Kolkata and will be yours too. Better treatment and value for money than hotels with many stars. Here the stars are the staff and owners.

Very well maintained fr and the service is very good. You can have any food as you want, they will bring it from nearby or your chosen restaurants. We loved it very much. We recommend it very gladly.
