Beautiful small beach on Hickam Airforce base. Military base access is required. Life guard on duty. Those with a military sponsor or DoD civilian can use the beach, rent kayak or SUP board at Hickam Beach office. Sail boats and covered Hickam Beach cabana can be rented at the Marina MWR office. Bathroom and facilities for men and women available in grassy picnic area. There are several picnic tables available, some under shade trees. We arrived at 1030 on a Sunday and there were several free parking stalls.

,water was dirty after going there on three different days, or maybe place is contaminated with some type of "top-secret" "men-made" pollutant, guessing the pollutants are probably "top-secret" military information high ranking officials are not allowed to speak publicly, and nobody can forget the TOXIC SMELL of poop process plant nearby, would be more pleasant to immerse your face in your house toilet bowl,

Wonderful military beach with lifeguards and little store for snacks etc. Would recommend for a day trip or overnight in cabins etc.

Must have military base access to get to this beach. Lifeguards on duty. Covered areas w/picnic tables to rent. Waves are usually pretty small, current isn’t strong. You can see the planes taking off from the airport to the left. Bathrooms and a place to rinse off after the beach!

Great for party reservations or just relaxing at the beach. Small bar/restaurant near beach. Requires on base access or guest access.

The gazebos are perfect for parties of any size! The ocean is great for kids and adults. Only downsides are how crowded it is and the lack of maintaining the bathrooms.

Clean restroom, indoor and outdoor shower. Lots of picnic tables adjacent to the beach, small waves good for little kids. Safe and clean, no weed smell, no window smashing. Make sure you read the rules before entering the beach area. If you use Google Map, set The Lanai At Mamala Bay as destination, if you set Hickam Beach as destination, Google Map might guide you to the airport and enter through a secure gate which you have no access. PS. Good spot for wind boarding.

Good for old people and babies. They let you rent paddle boards but if it's not windy outside and by not windy I mean there needs to be like negative amounts of wind which isnt possible. The days that they do let you rent them are Friday sat and sunday

Nice beach, small waves, and fun for the family. Little small, but perfect for a weekend picnic or BBQ!

Family oriented but gets very crowded during holidays or off days. You can rent small pavilions with picnic table and grill for $15. Or atleast it was when I was there last year
