Absolutely beautiful beach, especially during sunset. Waves are big at least during December-January, not perfect for kids in my opinion. It gets deeps within few steps. Lots of parking, restroom and shower. 5-10 minutes walk from Mermaid Coves :)

An amazing beach. Parking is very limited but you can park on the street around the area. (As of 12/17/2022)The bathrooms here work but the women's stall only had one stall that was fully functional. The beach is clean. Spots are first come first serve. The beach is very photogenic during the sunset hours. Overall, a very nice beach.

Nice beach with bathrooms and showers. Parking gets busy around noon, so come early. You can also explore nearby caves and tide pools (just make sure to wear athletic shoes)

The beach is very beautiful and the sea is wonderful, but the park is poorly maintained, bathrooms are dirty and neglected, a lot of home less in the area.

This is the perfect beach for those looking for smaller crowds, nice smooth sandy shores, huge waves and amazing scenery; the color of the water is unreal! It can get deep pretty close to the shore so watch out for the children. Nanakuli is surely one of the top beaches on the westside🤙

Absolutely loved this beach and this is where mermaid cove is if you're looking for it and this beach comes up. The water was wonderful and the waves were small. Lots of awesome people around. They have bathrooms and outside wster fountains and showers to rinse off at. The sand was nice and didn't feel like sandpaper walking on it. Make sure you wear filp flops because you might step on a thorn . Definitely go and visit.

Nice large beach. My feet did sink into the sand about ankle deep. It was a soft packed sand.

Beautiful Beach right next to a stream with perfect cascading waves... until our 4 year old was stung by a Portuguese Man O’ War. The beachgoers were very helpful and the lifeguards were amazing.

Nanakuli Beach Park is one of the few beaches on the west side where you can swim. Fine sand. Beach is wide with lots of room. Parking and rest rooms are on the North side of the beach. I’ve never had problems finding a parking spot at this beach however I usually come late in the afternoon. On the North side of the parking lot are coral cliffs where I have taken some great sunset photos.

A fantastic beach that was not busy when I arrived. The waves are super fun to play in (although could be dangerous if you're not a strong swimmer). There are washrooms here and free parking.

(Translated by Google) The west side of Oahu is a dangerous area, and it is better not to go now except Aulani and Ko Olina, which Hawaii Government continues to develop as the second Waikiki. Even in Waikiki, America's Oahu Island has a great deal of police car sirens, but the west side is even more dangerous. There are always cases in Hawaii. Last year, it wasn't a tropical paradise, as it was reported in Japan that a Japanese was hit by a toilet in a park in a development district next to Ala Wai. Ko Olina and Aulani have a high level of safety as guards patroll the coast.

The water is great. The sand doesn't stick to you like clay, but the beach is too crowded and the parking is horrendous on the weekends.

Beach for locals. Not many tourists. Watch out for homeless people and other freaks who may expose their private parts. Lifeguard is on duty. Waves look big but they aren’t strong. It gets deep very quick. Beautiful clear water. You can watch whales and sea turtles.

Great little beach. Because it is less windy. To the left of the beach, you can find cool caves/pools to jump in.

Nanakuli Beach Park, particularly Mermaid Cove, offers a serene escape with its natural soundtrack of gently lapping waters. The cove's tranquil ambiance makes it an ideal spot for leisurely hours of relaxation. For the adventurous, the beach provides an exhilarating boogie boarding experience, with some sizable waves for those seeking an adrenaline rush. Hidden gem of Oahu.

Nice beach expansive beach with alluring clean sand and a large park with trees for families to set up canopies and spend long hours daytime into the evenings at the beach. A bit far away for city visitors. Nice sandy beaches and very spacious grassy play area. Night lights on basket ball and volleyball courts, actively used by the youth. Ample parking. Really great as a local park with nice sunsets, but a bit far drive from Honolulu to see a sunset. Sun ball of fire for summer sunsets drop down onto the ocean's horizon.

Life guards pay close attention to swimmers. Even took our dog but recommend keeping pets on leashes cause technically pets are not allowed but nobody stopped us. Beach was clean and water was nice.

Great beach. Easy parking, facilities, and beautiful water. There is a steep drop off in the water, so you will be immediately treading water (which we enjoyed). It's all shore break, and there can be some surprise sets, so you need to pay attention. We saw adults getting thrown around. My 8 year old couldn't get enough of it, but he was careful when a bigger set was coming and played it safer further up the sand. My 5 year old and I would time the set and I would rush her out there on her boogie board. She loved kicking around and feeling the swell knowing that we were past the break. Fortunately, I'm a very strong swimmer and know how to read the ocean. I would escort her in quickly in between sets and we would run back up the beach as soon as she was on solid ground. I wouldn't recommend this for people who aren't very familiar with the ocean, but it's our favorite.

👍👍 I’m not a good or great swimmer, but gave myself a try and I’m glad that I did it. Had an amazing experience snorkeling here. Simply beautiful and great beach, strong waves but manageable . 👍 I have been to Tracks beach over 30 times in the last 3 years and have great things to say when it comes to scuba diving. I love tracks because it has direct access to some of the caves that have white tip sharks, and also to be able to slide south to electric beach. The downside of tracks is that...
