Breakfast was AMAZING. Service was very friendly and food was quick to come out. My husband enjoyed his pankacakes. I loved the fried rice, spam, and eggs! If you're looking for a homestyle Breakfast, this is the place to go. Prices are very reasonable and the quality of food is fantastic. Parking is a bit tight. It took us a while to find a spot, but it was well worth the effort

The food was bomb! Hard to find a spot with great food and seating for my family of five, but we were comfortable and enjoyed a delicious breakfast meal. The staff was great and the pricing is good too.

Girlfriend and I were craving a brunch spot so we came here. Food and service was amazing. Get the Churro waffle. TRUST ME. Taste amazing how it melts in your mouth. Man, if you're in Kaneohe and craving a solid brunch, you've got to hit up Kaneohe Pancake House. I dropped in recently and, let me tell you, their Churro waffle is the real deal - it's like a carnival treat met breakfast and decided to become best friends. And don't even get me started on their three-egg omelette; that thing was on point! Fluffy, filled just right, and totally hit the spot. The vibe in there is straight-up classic diner. It feels like one of those comfy spots where everyone might know your name if you drop by often enough. The crew working there? Super chill. They kept things moving, made sure my cup was full, but weren't all up in my business So, if you're around and your stomach's making those "feed me" noises, swing by Kaneohe Pancake House. Good food, good vibes, and I mean, come on, Churro waffle? Need I say more?

Crab cake eggs Benedict and spinach/tomato. Yummy! Eggs done perfectly. Side potatoes were cooked perfectly too, not mushy and not hard. Good coffee. Great service. Jamie was very nice and efficient! Great spot!

Amazing food, service and atmosphere!!! The staff is incredible!! The food comes out fast and good, and you feel like you’re in Hawai’i, and not some mainland chain. Try the Kalbi!!!

Great portions for the price! Super tasty!! Coconut syrup is worth the extra dollar for the macadamia nut pancakes.

I felt like a 'local' eating here. Good service, good food. Parking lot a nightmare. Bill came to $36.27 for these 2 meals.

The term mom and pops restaurant is something we are all looking for. And guess what? I found it in this one. First of all the “smiles”. Make everything that much better. I love hospitality and good food makes it even better. We got the Portuguese, sausage and eggs and man the pancakes rock. on my list as top restaurant for breakfast.

We wanted to find a local spot for breakfast and I’m so glad with found this place! Hands down best breakfast I’ve had in a while. We will definitely come back again! We got the mushroom omelette with cheese and a short stack of the buttermilk pancakes. So good!!!

Great diner vibe. Service is good overall but the food just did not live up to the expectation. Specifically the crab cake Benedict. Skip it. The omelette was ok. This place is probably better for their sweet breakfast: crepe, waffle, french toast, etc. Salty breakfast is eatable just nothing to write home about. Parking is VERY limited. Ask for potatoes extra crispy.

I love this original location in Kaneohe! The crabcake eggs benedict was so delicious with real crab meat! The fried rice was good, too! And of course, the pancakes were awesome!

Love the old school feel of this restaurant, not too many establishments left like this one on oahu. You can tell this place is family run by the great service and aloha spirit. The crab cake eggs Benedict and full stack of pancakes are bomb. And you can't go wrong with the corned beef hash, a local favorite. There's a decent amount of parking and no wait time when we went closer to lunch time.

    - Parking can be very difficult in this area - Service was super friendly and quick Food - Side order of fried rice (OMG) delicious smoky and salty... Best fried rice I've had in a while... Just so much flavor - Carmel Apple Pancakes - one thing I love is when you can eat pancakes without syrup, these pancakes or thick they will definitely fill you up -Ube Pancakes - these are not the super sweet version as some ube lovers expect, more color then flavor but for a pancake I probably try a different flavor unless you're basic

The macadamia nut pancakes and fried rice were delicious! One of the best breakfasts I’ve had. The wait wasn’t bad and the atmosphere was a nice relaxed diner vibe.

Never had a single complaint about Koa from all the times I've gone except that there is too much food haha. The food is delicious and they are always having different for specials. Just had the chili loco Moco and it was amazing ! Also the eggs benidict, potato's, pancake are really good. So if you like breakfast food come here. The prices are great and the taste will no disappoint. The lines arent super crazy and the wait for food is never bad either. The only thing is parking. There isn't a huge parking lot so it can get right sometimes or just park on the street!

  • 3/5 Christopher B. 4 years ago on Google
The food was okay.. Nothing really had a distinct flavor and it was hard to differentiate the foods even though I could clearly see what they were.. The pancakes tastee like air and the bacon seemed a bit undercooked.. The French toast however wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything to call home about.. All in all I would not return here again.. But give it a try, everyone's taste buds are a bit different :)

A favorite for locals, this off-the-beaten track restaurant has a diner style feel to it, with friendly waitresses and a speedy kitchen. Classic diner dishes are done right, from perfectly poached Eggs Benedict to crispy home fries.

During our travels around the island of Oahu, we decided to stop in for breakfast at this restaurant, which received positive reviews. Parking here is at a premium with about 10 parking slots at the most. Getting into an open slot requires some careful parking of your car. That being said, it appears this place hasn't deterred the regulars from returning here based upon how crowded it is. This is also an indication of how the food is. Seating for four in a booth is somewhat tight, which affords little or no elbow room when your "chowing down." Our waitress was very helpful and well versed in what the menu offered. There is nothing on the menu that is over $15.00 and by the size of the plates being served to other customers, there seems to be alot of food. We ordered a large stack of pancakes and was shocked to see how tall the stack was when it arrived!! We were hungry but had trouble finishing it. The pancakes were fluffy and tasted fantastic with the house special coconut syrup! We also ordered the chilli spaghetti which came with garlic toast. The plate was good and satified my hunger along with the huge pancakes, which could've easily fed three. Overall we had a good meal and didn't leave hungry. Pros: Very reasonable price Great prices, good service, great food. Nothing over $15.00 Cons Tight limited parking

Absolutely delicious! The portions were HUGE. I had the Fried Rice Special with Spam & the Strawberry Short Stack Pancakes. My favorite part was that the fried rice wasn't too greasy and made a great option for breakfast before a hike. The service was very attentive as well!

Wonderful.locql breakfast stop! The pancakes were tasty and eggs were cooked as ordered. I got the "Late Start" breakfast. Service was good. Clean eating space and bathroom! You should give them a try!

It's a lovely diner! It's just the way I remember diners with a whole team helping out. Everyone is so nice and the menu is amazing. They also have a huge selection of daily specials. It was really hard to decide what to eat because everything looked amazing. I'd highly recommend this place.

I wouldn't go here again. Food was super average. I ordered strawberry crepes just to realize the Strawberries were not fresh but canned and did not taste good at all. We also ordered an omlette, it was Definitely better but nothing out if the world. It came with only 1 side toast or fries unlike other breakfast places that have both. There was butter on the floor and no one bothered to even clean it.

My husband and I went here for breakfast. Best eggs benedict I've ever had. My husband had strawberry pancakes and they were massive and delicious! I definitely recommend eating here for breakfast. It's worth the wait and the attempts at finding parking.

The pancakes are huge. If you think you're getting an omelette with a side of pancakes, you're gonna end up with two meals. Food was good but needed seasoning. Coffee is strong and quite bitter. The staff were courteous and friendly

Very little parking. Place needs an update. Table and seats were cleaned before we sat but not dried!!! Staff are friendly, food is ok... $30 for 2 orders of eggs, sausage, coffee (1 side of toast) $$. .

After our morning sunrise outing, we headed over to grab some breakfast in the Kaneohe area. Specifically, we were looking for Koa Pancake House. This particular location was a bit difficult to find because it’s in the middle of a semi-industrial area and the signage says “Kaneohe Pancake House” instead of “Koa Pancake House”. After a bit of searching around, we finally found some parking (there’s really not a lot of parking in this neighbourhood due to all of the businesses) and we headed inside hoping that we found the right restaurant. The interior had an old school vibe going on but not entirely sketchy. The menu is pretty much what you’d expect for a breakfast diner (kind of similar to Eggs ‘n Things). We wound up ordering a Short Stack of Chocolate Chip Pancakes ($8.95), Turkey Sandwich ($9.50), and Pork Links ($5.95). These were pretty good pancakes… large and fluffy with lots of chocolate chips in them. The only thing that would have made them better would have been a big helping of whipped cream on top.

Ordered takeout over the phone and they managed to get BOTH of our two orders wrong. Didn't notice until I got home that they switched my regular eggs benedict for the crab cake bene ($2 more) and I had to take out the whole middle of my breakfast. Imagine if I had a shellfish allergy. I'd be dead. Anyway, not happy about paying extra for a breakfast I didn't order and couldn't enjoy.

Dine in perfectly safe during Covid as this restaurant definitely cares they have social distancing in place and protective plastic coverings on each table and asks you write down your name # and address for contact tracing. The service is great fast and nice and friendly employees. I will be coming here again.. Above all my strawberry crepes was amazing!!!

I have been going here since I was a kiki. This is a great place for lunch or breakfast. You can't go wrong with anything here. Love their pancakes and their breakfasts and their lunches are hardy and well made. This is one of the few places left in the Old Hawaii Style restaurants. Its worth the trip from anywhere on the island.

Food delicious as ever. I had the fried rice loco Moco and it was more than I could eat. My Dad (a chef), said his Steak and Eggs were perfect. Coffee was tasty and staff constantly topped our cups off. Are inside. Tables are separated by clear plastic for COVID precautions. All staff wore appropriate PPE. Will go again

Growing up in Kaneohe...Dis was the place to go and the food was so onolicious. Now we live Nanakuli, figured we'd take a trip to the East for breakfast and ended up going here. It was okay... certainly not what I remember or worth the drive. Could of went to Koa House at Kamakana and would have been same, but a whole lot cheaper and closer.
