Im not filipino but i love filipino food. tried this place a couple days ago and i loved it. reminds me of my good friend's grandma's cooking. homey and full of flavor. i was shocked when they told me they don't use msg. i don't like ajinomoto and i know most filipino restaurant use them but this place doesn't so its a plus. i love the pancit. flavor is on point. simple but delicious. the adobo was amazing. soft and flavorful. i like the fat part but i didn't mind the meaty part either. the vegetable dishes they have are also to die for. again, I'm surprised how flavorful it was without the added msg. portions are generous. my three choice plate i was able to eat it again for dinner. prices are cheap for the portion that is given. service was great. its a family ran restaurant and the guy in the front is a funny guy. very polite and calls the elderly uncles and aunties. kept me entertained the whole time. ill definitely come back and try other dishes. finally a filipino restaurant on the windward side. this chinese boy will eat filipino food any time, any day.

One of my favorites on windward side for a quick fix of comfort ilocano food. Prompt service, sometimes run out of some dishes, but that's my indicator of what to get next.

The look of the food was very appetizing and the portions were quite generous but some one dropped a salt bomb in the kitchen. As tasty as the food was, I could only get past a few bites due to the heavy salt. Eating the food with rice helped a little, but not too much. My last time there was waaay better. Rochelle was a much better lcook compared to the usual older lady...sorry apo. This time around, the Kari kari and lechon made to order was on point. So far, the best filipino dishes on the Windward side of the island.

Amazing place for delicious Filipino food for lunch or dinner - pork guisantes and chicken adobo were very flavorful and well seasoned. Many options to choose from, although pork adobo and dinuguan were not available when I went around lunchtime. Reasonable prices and large portions.

Went to try Ressie's Kusina for a quick dinner before going to the movies. Small hole in the wall conveniently located near windward mall next to Pahke's Chop Suey in Kaneohe. We shared a 2 choice plate and a side order of Lechon (the bomb). Everything was very tasty, large portions and the prices were really reasonable. While I admit that I'm not a Filipino food connoisseur and only went to a Filipino restaurant once before, I am definitely a fan now and will be back for sure.

Been waiting for a filipino restaurant to come back on the windward side for a loooong time, ever since windward mall renovated (and that was YEARS ago)! can't believe i didn't know Ressie's has been around for about year come this August already. glad my hb told me about it! finally went in to test it out, and OMG...their food is just how i love it! tried their pork guisantes, pork adobo, mungo beans, lechon kawali, sari sari, pancit and banana lumpia. MMmm..soo ONO! Jun does a great job at the counter explaining how everything they make is fresh. only thing, they close so early (at 7pm), and they don't open on sundays. it's a hit or miss for me due to my work hours, but i'm definitely gonna go back to try their pinakbet. I know i won't be disappointed!

Small resto in Kaneohe few steps from the Kaneohe Post Office. Ordered Adobo and some Filipino dessert (wrapped in banana leaves). It was good. Fairly priced. Clean. Parking available. Need to try other food/specialities the next time I visit the place.

AWESOME FOOD AND FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE! I am always sceptical when eating at restaurants that have Filipino cuisine because almost 7 out of 10 Filipino restaurants have other nationality people cooking. But not this place they got a Mama/Nana cooking up the food. And reminds me of my grandmas cooking so comforting. Will be going there again.
