👍 I have eaten at sooo many okazu-yas, even did a radio commercial about them. And, I gotta say, Megumi is without a doubt, one of THE BEST. What adds to the greatness, is Amy and Jason. EXCELLENT SERVICE!!! Can't wait to go again. (Oh, and the food is awesome as well) People often mention delicious, good, lunch, friendly, breakfast,

A little hole in the wall. I got the fried chicken with Mac and noodles. So the chicken was cold. Still crispy but it was cold and the noodles they were alright. Really affordable but right here you pay for what you get.

Fast and Friendly Services. Food Portions are huge and delicious. Prices are very reasonable. Everything is homemade and alot of various Japanese foods and local foods. One word describes it all local style KANACKATTACK (food is so delicious and huge, you eat till you sleep).

The host was very friendly and excited we were there. We were traveling from Waikiki to the Kualoa Ranch and looked for a place to stop and get lunch. There wasn’t dining-in so we sat on the sidewalk to eat. The food was pretty good, glad we stopped to try it out. My favorite thing of the Bento I ordered was the hamburger steak patty.

Yummy bento was $11. Plenty of food, plenty of variety plenty of options. Took my pic after food was half eaten. One will be enough for 2 small people. Will be back!

Megumi is a very small place that serve Okazu ya. I love it because the people are very friendly, courteous and helpful. Service is usually very quick unless there is a crowd because some of the time I went there it was busy. The food tastes exactly the way it should and you may sit or takeout. Mahalo a nui loa Megumi.

Great Japanese food at great prices, the butterfish cost a little more, but worth the extra money.

A Family Friendly Place For A Wonderful Meal Our family was craving something different for lunch, so we decided to try out Megumi Restaurant. It was busy, but we were able to get seated pretty quickly at a nice table with a high chair. Even though we arrived 25 minutes before lunch closed, the staff was very friendly. We ordered the sashimi salad, ikura nigiri, a rainbow roll and the scallop special with miso soups for all. The soups came pretty quickly, and we were provides a complimentary edamame bowl and complimentary tofu for our littlest one. The miso soup was delicious w/ plenty of seaweed, scallions, and tofu. The sashimi (maguro and hamachi) salad was delicious and fresh, and nicely portioned. The rainbow roll was made and the fish and avacado were really fresh. The ikura nigiri was delightful as well. While I didn't get a chance to try the scallops, they looked amazing. Even though the restaurant had finished its lunch service, they didn't hesitate when we ordered a second rainbow roll. The owner and staff were very friendly, and my youngest was playing with his hand while he talked to us. We will definitely be coming back!

Food is great, portions are skimpy and expensive. I go there when was in high school back in 70s, food tasting is very good. I go there when when I go to the windward side which is not too often.

Wow. Their chow fun is really different from any I've had before and super yummy. Everything but the kitchen sink included, seriously bacon, Portuguese sausage, hotdog, spam, ham, egg along with all the other ingredients you usually find in chow fun. I can't believe that I have driven past this place daily for over 2 decades and not known about it. Going back soon and often for sure. They have very limited hours though so that's probably why it's been overlooked in the past. One note, strange that they don't offer shrimp tempura as that is usually a staple at most Okazuya counters.
