Not that clean. Not that comfortable atmosphere. A bit cold coz of air condition. Food came to the table fast or less than 5 mins. Food portion was big. Food taste was good. Price was affordable. Enough parking.

I go here a few times a year. I think their chicken katsu curry rice is there best thing on the menu.

Amazing food

Wow. They ought of change their name to Sumo Curry because the ramen was horrible and tasteless. Lived in Japan for 7 years and I get it, you'll never get that flavor but come on, chewing on plastic would probably taste better.

My spicy seafood ramen was disappointing. The dumplings and fried rice were very good, but a ramen shop should have better ramen. It was missing depth of flavor and the seafood in the ramen didn't seem as high quality and fresh as any other place we tried on Oahu. Maybe I just ordered the wrong noodles, but I was not the only one in our group that was disappointed. I wasn't even inspired to take the requisite food picture!

Steer clear of this place, the ramen was tasteless I think my 4 year old could make better. The curry beef stew was way to sweet and last but certainly not least this is where I got awful food poisoning from! If you like bland, tasteless food and don’t mind food poisoning then by all means this place is for you, however if you like your food having taste and not ending up with food poisoning then certainly don’t come here. There is far better places to eat at and I highly recommend you go to one of those other places.

No it’s not a fancy curry or ramen franchise from Japan but it also doesn’t come with the same price tag either. Owners are there pretty much all day, every day. The curry fried rice and chicken katsu curry do it for me. I suppose cost/value depends on what you order but ramen prices are pretty good too.

Ramen and curry restaurant. Fast food type of take on these two dishes. It is not bad and I still eat here occasionally. Just don't expect it to be at the level of restaurant chains from Japan or other specialty shops that have been popping up lately.

Basically good not great. The price is verygood. We enjoyed it.

Good ramen place

I’ve been coming here for over 11 years and took a break because of the Covid virus and other reasons. The soup base here has really changed the old style had a better taste and was a lot better than the current one. Other than that the other dishes are still tasty and delicious. The rating is for the soup base only.

Most of the food tasted old. The chicken katsu meat was dried out and cold. As well as the gyoza& their wrappers. Freshly cooked gyoza would be soft, tender and easy to chew. Tonight it felt like we were chewing on stale beef jerky.

Good service and really big portions/price. Ordered chicken katsu curry. The chicken katsu was hot and crispy, but the curry was lukewarm and too sweet for my taste.

Great service and food. They were able to make vegetarian fried rice and noodles for us, and were extremely mindful of our needs. Food was fresh and tasty. Definitely recommend this place.

Stopped for a late lunch after visiting Kualoa Ranch. We were greeted promptly. Our large party had no trouble finding seating. We ordered and our food came out quickly. Everything we tried was very flavorful. I really appreciated the "mini" sizes on the menu that were perfect for the kids. Broth wasn't too salty, curry was flavorful but not spicy. Would definitely visit again!

Decent Ramen, it wasn’t the most flavorful but large portion. The customer service was a little slow but friendly. They did provide nice plates and bowls for the kids which was helpful. Would I return probably not, it was just average.

Service is always friendly. No matter how busy they are, they always make you feel that they are glad that you came. The Spam Katsu Curry Combo is the one for me. Although I have no scientific evidence to back up my claim, I swear it cures the common cold.

This is hands down the very worst ramen I have ever eaten, bland broth, overcooked dry pork, terrible noodles, clearly frozen fried gyoza, Thai ice tea was literally served in the can. Customer service was fine. A few bites and I had to push it away.

Best meal ever for two people to share: Spcy Beef Ramen + Mochiko Chicken Plate + two orders of Gyoza. We ate here on a previous night during vacation and ordered the Seafood Combo (not suggested) and Mochiko Chicken Ccmbo (the chicken was good but soggy) + Unagi Don (good, but not your typical Japaenes unagi sauce). It was good experience, but the second night was one of epic proportion. We'll definitely have the exact same thing again before vacation is over!! Very fast. Great staff.

I had the mochiko chicken ramen combo. I been here before and the food was good. Today the broth had a burnt taste and the gyoza was very bland. Not a good day for sumo ramen😔

The choice of dishes are so numerous and it's all delicious. The Mochiko Chicken Combo meal is their most popular dish. Very reasonable prices and I am treated like family each and every time! If you're hungry, you won't be disappointed with the portions.
