Overall the resort is nice. It's clean and they have some great services. The staff were all very friendly. My only complaint is that the walls are very thin. You can hear your neighbors dishes, conversations, etc as if they were right in your room. If they could fix that by adding insulation or removing doors that connect rooms, then they would be fantastic.

The location was wonderful and staff were very friendly. Rooms are basic (they've got a few TV subscription channels that you can log into if you have your own account) and walls are very thin. My only issue was that they are still charging a $19 per night Resort Fee (half off) even though they aren't serving breakfast and they additionally charge $15 per night for parking. The Resort Fee covers kayak rentals, the fitness room, and pool towels, but if you're not using those things, it would be nice if it at least covered parking on their property. This added up to an additional $200 for 5 nights. I'd prefer that they just charge for amenities à la carte. Otherwise, we had a great stay.

Grounds are beautiful and staff are kind and try to be helpful. We have been here since Saturday and Wifi is still not working in the unit we are staying. We were to have our room cleaned today at 10 but that didn’t happen. The room is fine but could use a deep cleaning and a refresh. The fridge is missing the bars that hold the food on the door side, and there is no plug for the kitchen sink. No small pots to boil an egg. When we arrived our room had food left behind that cleaning staff missed. The BBQ is dirty and has had dirty utensil beside it since Saturday. I’m kinda disappointed to be honest. We have been told we can move rooms tomorrow so we will see if it gets better. Really pretty spot. Hoping things will turn around.

Pros: Spacious room with fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, stove, and coffee maker. Reliable parking. But the best part of the hotel is the Signature Sandbar boat excursion they offer every Saturday! We had a ton of fun snorkeling, and even saw a sea turtle! Highly recommend signing up for that (extra $79 per person fee). Cons: The hotel is located in a neighborhood, so there are no restaurants or sandy beaches nearby. They charge extra fees for parking ($15 per car per day) and resort fee (about $42 per day). Room service was a hassle: it is by request only, you can only request it every 3 days, you must request it 24 hours in advance, and out of the two times we requested room service, one time they just did not show up.

My husband & I celebrated our honeymoon at Paradise Bay. The views are astounding! Treat yourself to a mountain view suite! You won't regret it! The views driving up to the main roads are also amazing! My husband was in love! Paradise Bay provides the quaint & relaxing feeling. Yes, there are roosters but not heard all of the time. The grills, pool, docks are all amazing! The boat excursion with Brian & Captain Rollin a huge plus & amazing experience! No, they're not serving breakfast or any dining but everything is within a 10 minute drive & they provide an excellent list of dining suggestions! Minor issues (pillowcase had stains, only 1 side of toaster working) but the views & your experience make those minor issues disappear! Would definitely come back one the breakfast & dining re-open (hopefully very soon!).

We were so fortunate to find this amazing quiet, little place, tucked in the mountains and the beaches. We got a mountain view room and it had its own lanai and kitchen that was plenty for making breakfast and lunch. The grounds were beautiful and the staff were very attentive. I already want to go back, thank you to all at Paradise Bay!

Oahu needs more of these types of places -- rural resorts / hotels away from the city. There aren't a whole lot of options outside of Waikiki / Honolulu. At Paradise Bay, we had great views of the bay in a semi-private cabin setting. Overall really enjoyed our stay, having some minor issues: The surrounding location was a little rough around the edges -- was in a local residential neightborhood which is in need of an HOA. You have to drive to any restaurants. There was a grocery about 5 minutes south that supplied most of our needs. Inside our cabin the kitchen area was a little bit small, but did the job. The main room sofa and chair were outdoor furniture -- I personally did not find them comfortable. The shower / bath was excellent. The bedrooms were kinda plain -- just for sleeping. The network was kinda spotty. Front desk was very friendly and helpful, although they needed a bell or something at the front desk for letting them know when a customer was waiting. Overall great stay!

Ok, we spent 2 nights here and not worth it. The photos of the rooms and the view must all be from the same room, because they were not representative of what we had. They charge $45 a night for “resort” fees which gives you access to a tiny pool and hot tub. It also gives you access to free kayaks which we could never use because you had to reserve them well in advance of your stay. I guess we could’ve done free yoga, one day if we reserved that in advance as well, they do have boat tours and other things, but that’s for an additional $80 or more a person. They also charge a $15 a night parking fee, which to me makes no sense because there is nothing around there to do unless you have a vehicle to go somewhere because it is in the middle of a residential area. There is no food available at this “resort” which I hoped the $45 fee would have provided at least a vending machine for soda or chips. We didn’t even see an ice machine anywhere. There was a 7-Eleven out on Kamehameha Highway and a decent shrimp truck across the highway from the 7-Eleven. Save your money and go to the Marriott up by the Polynesian culture center or stay over in Honolulu. Also, the people in the neighborhood do not seem to be very excited to have a “resort“ in their neighborhood. Almost all the neighborhood locals scowled at us, and one lady flipped us the bird as she drove by and we could not understand why as we were still in the “resort” waiting for her to pass by so we could pull out on the road. We had really high hopes, but we will not be staying here again or recommending it to anyone.

A fabulous location, very nice staff. Sadly one unit we were in 52, was filthy! I’m sorry, but everything was dirty. The duvet! The cutlery, bed linens, creepy crawling things on floor. Used microwave and toaster blew fuses. We paid $1510 for 5 days then additional $112 for an upgrade. The cottage was beautiful, a whole different experience. I did write to staff and explained what we had experienced but no one responded. Go at your own risk. Ask for unit 42. Get the Aloha experience there!

I would of gave one star however, the views are beautiful. You are nestled in between locals so don’t dare talk with others outside past 9 PM as there is an enforced curfew at the resort. Front desk staff: Only one lady actually smiled at us (the young girl) I did not catch her name but she was not the owner. Some of the front desk is confused, information given is wrong (yoga class for instance told us was full didn’t know how to even sign up even though I asked and was not full at all). Gym has the bare minimum. I am glad they at least had a gym though. No decor really in rooms. Walls are thin, could hear the room beside us. I asked for extra towels and they gave us one set for a three night stay in a suite. No creamer/sugar in rooms to enjoy in coffee you must ask front desk for this. Trip hazards everywhere, no lighting at night so be careful walking. Hawaii is a beautiful state and there many gorgeous places to stay for same price so I would recommend choosing another place to stay. I will not be back to this resort. I did not personally feel welcomed there. ***Also no restaurant anymore on site.

Location and views! Our room was also very spacious and clean, a little tired, but really, when in Hawaii, how much time do you actually spend in your room!! A great resort. We traveled during covid and the next time we didn't get to experience everything the resort has to offer.

This spot was at the end of our two week, three island journey and we couldn’t have ended it any better! The name speaks for itself: the location is absolutely stunning. The lush green mountains, the little canal leading to the ocean, the garden and tiki torches, the open lobby. Absolutely stunning! The lady working the front desk was amazing. We got in early from hiking (and dying) at Koko head and she let us use the pool as our room wasn’t ready yet. We floated in there which totally helped ease our shaking jelly legs! The rooms each have their own private balconies and are pretty cute! I wish we had more time at the location because they offer yoga, and kayaking for a small additional fee and when you see the views you’ll see why I wanted in! Definitely give this place a visit!

We had a great time at PBR despite the weather being dreadful. The staff was welcoming and helpful. Our room (34) was beautiful and clean. Everything was working well. There were a few small things we were missing: No toothbrush cups, no bigger bowl for food. No drinks (and snacks) available even during live music event in the evening. Cleaning only every 3 days … we could request after 2 days though. Overall we can highly recommend PBR.

This is a quiet little resort away from the hustle and bustle of the Waikiki still close enough to there to enjoy the activities there. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially Chris (sp?), who offered recommendations for her favorite beaches for snorkeling. The rooms were well kept and quiet. The resort offered relaxing views of the surrounding song area from the floating docks.

Beautiful hotel in a quiet spot. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle, then this place is it. There are no places to eat within walking distance as this is located in a suburban area along the coast on a bay. But the rooms are very nice and property is beautiful. They do have a little excursion you can take through them which I heard from another guest is really nice. They only do it on certain days.

Awesome resort with great amenities. On the quite side of the island tucked in a residential neighborhood. Nice pool, on a water canal and next to a bay. They have some great rooms and staff was very helpful. They accommodated some date changes for us and it went smoothly. Not great area to take walks but there is a park nearby you can walk to. Would stay here again. Went with small kids and this place is good for children.

At first glance we were surprised at the location but we ended up loving it. It was quiet and peaceful. It was a great change from the huddle and bustle of the busy city. Staff was very accommodating and nice. It would have been nicer to have better food options around the resort and even at the resort. We didn’t spend a lot of time there but our immediate needs were met and kitchens were stocked with essentials as described. Rooms were clean, beds were comfy and views were great. We were very pleased and would recommend. Location was great. We didn’t like busy city vibe anyway so location was perfect for us. Rooms were clean, beds were super comfy.

We stayed here last November. We booked a mountain view room but we were upgraded to the Honeymoon Suite for our stay and the scenery was seriously UNBELIEVABLE from the balcony. We are people who like to get away from the bustle of tourism, so this was perfect for us! We watched the sunrise every morning onto the mountains and the silence of the bay and it was the BEST part of our vacation. We took the kayaks out on the bay and saw a few sea turtles too! Not too far of a drive to get into town to the grocery store and some great local food. The parking charge was a little ridiculous as other people have said, since there is nowhere else to park. The construction leaves a little to be desired, this is definitely a more outdoorsy/camping feel than a luxury or high-end resort. That being said, it was perfect for us and what we were looking for. This stay was a splurge for us on a tighter budget and it was so great. Would definitely stay again just for the views!!!

Great place to stay! Right on the bay. They have kayaks and paddle boards to go out in the bay. You would never know it’s there as it is hidden in a residential area but what a great little spot they have! The staff are all very accommodating and friendly. A restaurant and bar would be a great addition as there are really no places to eat right around the hotel. All in all, a great little spot!

Probably one of the nicest place at the North Shore. At general not similar to anything we used to. You can expect nice big room with all equipment, kitchen annex, TV etc. There is no any food and drink opportunities in the resort. You need go 5/10 minutes to Safeway. No ice/water machines. Room are very hot as roofs are getting sun heat over day and exchange it over night. There is air conditioner but not sufficient for big space. There are extra Yoga classes and kayaking options. View are stunning. Definitely calm and quiet place worth to visit but need to be prepared with some food and drinks.

My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing and fun 4 night stay in May. We enjoyed kayaking on the bay, morning yoga class on the floating dock and a boat trip for snorkeling and a visit to the sandbar. While this hotel does not have a restaurant or bar on property or within walking distance we found the facilities in the kitchenette were totally sufficient to make food and drinks. The neighborhood location created a restful retreat unlike any other we have had on Oahu.

Amazing place that I will return to my family and I stayed here once before and are soon. But on top of the amazing views, birds, and vegetation the stay couldn't get better and I am excited to be back. Also I love the location since it Is so close to my cousins on the island. We were going to stay at a Hilton in Honolulu at first but they messed everything up so we decided to book here since they are very reliable and nice.

The location was convenient and beautiful. The room originally reserved was not what they checked us into but the room was okay. The maintenance staff, I believe we're doing work every day we stayed right under/outside the bedrooms and were very noisy. Over all the stay was great, the rooms and facilities clean. The pool and hot tub were clean and great temperatures. Definitely would stay there again and would recommend it as a place to stay to others.

We stayed here the week of our wedding and rented the Mountain View room that’s in the corner (you can see the pics in the listing!) it was absolutely perfect and even bigger than we expected! The views and whole hotel are incredible, you feel like you’re in the middle of nature. The bay is gorgeous and everyone was super helpful and welcoming during our stay!

We had the best time...my only wish is that we would have stayed here longer! It's truly a pocket of paradise. The sound of the birds is incredible. We stayed in the one bedroom mountain view and it was so dreamy! The staff was super friendly. I do wish they had food services and their luau still operating, but it's not something I could write a formal complaint about as I knew this going in! Would love to return for a visit some day and hopefully they'll be back up and running, as I hear they were phenomenal. Definitely worth it to get out of the hustle and bustle of Waikiki!

Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely peaceful setting off the beaten track. Loved the birds at sunset! Great decks for lounging. Tropical landscaping. Nice pool/hot tub area.

👍 Simple rooms but it's really all you need. It's literally right on the water so that really makes it nice. It's at the end of the base so fairly quiet, unless osprey ops are going on. TV, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, couch, dresser, night stands. Quite cozy. One of the downsides are the bathroom...

👍👍 This place is pure bliss. The caretakers are very friendly and keep out of your hair but you know they are the if you need them for anything.
