I brought adhirasam kai muruku and ola bakkoda.. none of the items are good when compare with cost..each 100rs. Adhirasam taste not good, not soft.c children don't like this.. Ola bakkoda its totally waste of money..it's not even crispy..see attached pics.. Kai muruku its somewhat ok.. but guys there are better snack available outside with lesser cost.. don't buy this..it's just illusion that chettinad dish..they actually mis using chettinad name.. I called them to ask about ola bakkoda..they didn't give proper response..

Another hyped up place! Limited products!! Popular Chettinad snacks missing!! Exaggerated products shelf life!! Yet quality..... Atirasam that was touted 20 days shelf life was so hard on third day itself. Murukku too started loosing crispiness after two days. Spices were usual stuff, available at any provision store across the street.

Soundram's Chettinad sweats and Snacks , was a huge disappointment. The sweets lacked any distinct flavor, making them taste bland and unappealing. Surprisingly, even the street vendor Athirasam in Madurai surpassed the quality here, and please don't buy Mysore Bak, over sweet, no flavor. Additionally, the prices were exorbitant, making the whole experience even more disappointing. Overall, I would not recommend this sweet shop due to its lack of flavor, high prices, and overall dissatisfaction.

Bought suthu muruku, adhirasam, small seedai, idli and murungai podi. Boxing was really good and packed neatly without any breakage. Taste is really good. Price is Lil high but worth for the authentic taste and the efforts for making snacks.

The old man in the cash counter was of bad temperament. He doesn't know what he is talking. I purchased for Rs. 300, within 5 mins of exiting the shop, returned and requested him for a replacement without change in value. The old man started to yell saything that, "Murukku vyabaram na enna kevalama". I politely told him that if it is no possible to replace, tell me it's not possible and end it. He kept on arguing and I left the shop. Mistreatment of customer is not going to take you anywhere.

Soundaram Snacks is a well known name for Chettinadu snacks and is based at Karaikudi, TN India. Recently shifted to new and spacious premises near Janapriya. I have been ordering snacks (authentic Chettinad snacks) done in hygienic process, professional packing delivery (local, outstation in India and also abroad through tie-up with logistics partners). My order history with Soundaram Snacks dates back to 2012 until the latest this week.

The quality of snacks is very good. It is much better than the snacks we buy from the chain of snack shops across Tamil Nadu. I bought 'seepu seedai' to my office and all my team mates were never tasted such tasty snacks and asking me buy separately for their family. Happy to share chettinad snacks in office.

Recently they have shifted the Shop near jagapriya super market. quality is good but costlier. 1 தேன்குழல் rs 20, and even 1 அதிரசம் also rs 20. தேன்குழல், சீப்பு சீடை,மாவுறுண்டை, உப்பு சீடை excellent taste, அதிரசம் not that much good. Innipu சீடை,they have made with அதிரசம் மாவு,not good. சீர் muruku little hard.what ever you pick the cost is 100RS or 130rs. இடியாப்ப மாவு white is 130 per kg,but red rice இடியாப்ப மாவு is 260 per kg. very very costly. packaging is excellent. Like branded items it is costly. Regularly we can not buy,once in a while we can purchase because of heavy price.

All the items are very nice. Special appreciation for the speed of dispatch and good packaging for safe delivery of the snacks. Keep it up 👏👏👏
