Great place to stay. Location is slightly off .. a bit hard to reach. But over all well maintained property and great staff. Food was amazing. Excellent quality and very yummy.

Rooms are quite big & clean, the bathroom was not clean. The choice for dinner is only North Indian food, I ordered one plate of tandoori chicken Kali mirch kabbab, it was full of oil, I returned it. For Karaikudi the room is expensive and it is not really a old heritage property, it is a new one done in the chettinad style.

Rooms are good, staff are cordial. We frequently visit this place for the restaurant (dinner - fried rice is good), and their outdoor kids area makes it a hit. It helps to keep them engaged while we can hang out or have food peacefully. ....

Created with Chettinadu tradition aspect, except food. Also has modern aspects such as a swimming pool, etc. Spacious individual cottages with tiles and pillars of bygone era.

Like a little oasis in a desert. Green and spacious dotted with traditionally designed compact villas . Swimming Pool is a huge plus. Food is very good.

It is a resort trying to recreate the chettinad mansions style and they have achieved it to a great extent. But it lacks maintenance. Although we had a comfortable stay , there were couple of issues, service and food. When we arrived there wasmo one at the reception. We had to roam around the resort to find some staff., not a welcoming experience. Food was mediocore but charges like any star property. They talk about authentic chettinad multi cusine restaurant, but could not find any authentic dishes or tast there.

The location and its expanse are good. The people at work were good too. The quality of the rooms definitely need improvement. Damp smell, towels with stains and many more to list... Highly overpriced for its quality.

The place is absolutely beautiful. It met all our expectations. It is a little hard to find as it is in a private society. I would recommend you carry EVERYTHING you need and more as access to local shops and places isn’t as easy. Doesn’t mean location is bad, it is just secluded so you have to be prepared if you don’t want to make frequent trips out. I opted for the in-house food and it was brilliant. Very punctual with their service and delectable food. The pool is absolutely worth it so please don’t miss out that opportunity. The caretaker is friendly and is very helpful. Overall an incredible experience for a quick getaway.

Nice place to stay if you are visiting Karaikudi, Large rooms and ample parking space. The premises are well maintained. The AC's in the room are noisy. The row type cottages are ideal to stay if you are visiting this place with your friends and extended families.

It was good experience at the hotel. Pool area is a great spot to relax in the evening. They have facilities for spa and gym as well. The housekeeping is also neat and clean. Overall a great experience.

Beware! This restaurant is overrated. Not much of crowd and it’s North Indian. We fell sick after eating here. Chettinad chicken tasted like some North Indian dish. We ordered mutton sukka and we fell sick - should have been old meat. Food never looked fresh. Please try avoiding this place!

Was a part of marriage convoy. 15 friends for a wedding. Excellent stay, absolutely great silent ambience and tree surrounds. Luvly and environmental friendly, certainly very good oxygen to give you that extra energy!!!

We had a great time in thappa Gardens. Their food was good especially their coffee tasted very nice. Room was neatly maintained. Pool is yet to be completed. There is a play are for kids to have fun. Felt little expensive but Overall a beautiful experience in karaikudi. Will surely recommend. Thanks
