An ancient temple, powerful deity. Temple is open around 7 a.m. to 12 noon and evening as it is in a village. Shortly reachable from karaikudi new bus stand.

My native place. Once in a month I used to visit this temple. Powerful god Moola Gerudan. Beautiful temple tank ,(pushkarani). Once in a year there would be a Brahmotsavam. Perumal would come around the village to meet his devotees. Boat festival and car festival will draw more devotees. The car would be pulled by thousands of his devotees.

This place is near Karaikudi. It is also called Then Tirupathi ( South Tirupathi). As per the guidance from Lord of Tirupathi , an devotee who could not travel to Tirupathi due to old age, built this temple. The utsavar of the temple is very beautiful and graceful. Unlike Tirupathi, there is no big rush, one can have lords Darshan peacefully..
