Myself Nikhil Francis, was diagnosed with encephalomyelitis .Paralyzed from the chest down and confined to a wheelchair at age of 27. Lost ability to walk, stand and sitting balance, lost sensation, bladder control and bowel movements, there was extensive demyelination in the spine as well. I was admitted to Maurya Ayurveda Ortho and Neuro Rehabilitation Center after my initial treatment from Lourdes Hospital. In Maurya, I started to witness the changes day by day. It began small - wiggling of toes and then one leg being able to move, slowly sensation swept through my lower limbs, achieved sitting balance, regained ability to stand and then walk with assistance and finally within three and half months of treatment I was able to walk on my own. Even when I felt my legs were going to fall off, thank you Dr.Kassim and Team for encouraging me to keep going as it will get stronger. Thank you Dr. Shahanaz and Dr.Razeena , Dr. Aysha for treating me like a person, not a patient and as much as I may have complained, thank you for letting me not quit as I definitely would not be where I’m at if you didn’t. I just wanted to let you know that my level of mobility has improved tremendously. My recovery wouldn't have been possible without your hard work and attention. Thank you Ancy, Shijo and Richu (physio) for keeping me until every single exercise for the day is completed and for continuing to work with me even when your next patient has arrived. I took treatment from Maurya Ayurveda with condition of lower back pain and disc bulging. Before treatment, it was just sake of experimental attitude (there were not much hope of improvement). But with intense treatment measures and eminence of quality in care, I got improvements in reduction of severity of all kind of symptoms, after 21 days of course. My mom had a major stroke and her left side body was fully paralyzed and had no sensation and we came here with ryles tube.. Within a week she could eat food by own and talk talk better, within a month she is able to get up from bed by own and After taking 40 days of treatment now my mom can walk.. Excellent medical care with utmost skills and professional expertise endeavoured by the Maurya medical team made my mother to alleviate from stroke related ailments. My mother of 77 yrs old had brain haemorrhage+ stroke and luckily we been here after 6 months with Gait ataxia ,memory loss and BP fluctuations. The support and medical care which were rendered by Dr Salih who is friendly,dynamic ,Dr Sonja madam is fondly taking care in step of improvement, Physiotherapist Mr Nirmal and Mr Unnikrishnan hard and meticulous applications are backbone for my mother's wellbeing. Even if I wouldn't mention other names each and everyone of the team are respectful and admirable with medical ethics. Though we been there for around 80 days to get cured ,we felt these place home away from home.

Dr Kasim runs the hospital like a loving family home, where everyone from the employees to the patients are taken care of. Every morning there are rounds and through the day the your treatment is in capable hands(designed and directed by the very capable doctors at the center- Dr Riaz and Dr a Apu). Everyone who treated me was invested in my improvement. Ayurvedic therapists Jindu/ Afina, Physical Therapists - Ashwin/ Sandeep, Accupuncture Therapists- Dr Merin & Dr Sahala we’re always working to improve my health. Doctors are available through the day to discuss planned treatments and any concerns / questions you might have. My muscle stiffness and joint pains , loss of range of motion greatly improved. My only regret is that I did not stay there longer. Thanks to everyone at the center for your help.

Maurya Ayurveda and Ortho Hospital is a great place to get Ayurvedic treatment. My spouse had a knee sprain problem and got an excellent ayurvedic, physiotherapy, acupuncture treatments at this hospital. Post treatment her knee condition improved a lot and her overall health condition showed an excellent improvement. Dr. Kassim, Dr. Md. My mother took treatment at Maurya Ayurveda centre for her lower back pain, ankle joint pain and other issues that she developed after brain stroke.
