    1. First thing first, one goes to such kind of property for peace but doors of each and every room are so noisy that early in the morning all doors makes such a loud noise while closing that you can’t finish peaceful sleep. And I had given feedback of this to guest service and even told them to adjust door closer speed but after living her for 7 days this was not sorted out. 2. It is relatively new property so there were lack of amenities in pool/steam washroom like I didn’t see towels, comb hair dryer any kind of moisturizer nothing. 3. Even in room there are lack of amenities like writing pad and pen. Which I think is very important.

The property is meticulously decorated, every nook and corner is designed to be pleasing for the eyes. The attention to the details is commendable. The rooms are spacious, cozy, and thoroughly furbished. The restaurants in the property offer delicious and sumptuous cuisines of varied types. The best part of the resort is the team of kind, alert, and professional staffs. Staffs went above and beyond to make sure that my family and friends had a memorable stay. Their hospitality is unsurpassable.

Pricey but totally worth it. Located within walking distance of the iconic Makaibari tea estate, this new (opened in 2020) is fine luxury for all senses. It has well appointed rooms, several common areas to relax and (limited) activities in the vicinity. It's a perfect getaway for a relaxed weekend.

This place is exquisite. Beautiful views of the valley. The tea tasting session was amazing with storytelling and opened my eyes to a different world of teas (do not miss this). Great breakfast spread. The staff is very professional and alert.

It's a resort in nature's lap. Absolute pristine beauty. Keep in mind the roads to the hotel are treacherous. So if you are self driving and unable to negotiate curves then call the hotel for their service. They will help you. The most beautiful rooms are the cottages which are on slopes and are isolated from the main building. If you are staying in the main building look for valley view rooms. The property is beautiful, you can sit on the couch looking at the hills and flip through your favourite novels while sipping in the first flush darjeeling tea, or venture out the 20 acre property, or savour the hospitality of Taj Chia Kutir. The staff here are extremely good and provide prompt services. The property also has a temperature controlled swimming pool so don't forget to pack your swimming costumes. Overall a superb holiday destination. You can also visit the nearest Kurseong city and visit the Hanuman top, Dow hills, the pine forests and the chimney where you can have beautiful veg and non veg momos in a local home. Don't forget to stop your car in the pine forest and enjoy the beauty of nature, capture your moments along with the floating clouds. It's a 4 hour journey from the hotel visit the city and the surroundings and then back to the hotel. Enjoy your trip

Nice place. Located inside Makaibari Tea Estate. Warm and friendly staff. As it has just opened, it'll be good to wait for a couple of months and then visit them after things have been streamlined fully. Wish them all the best basic facilities and amenities

My wife and I had a memorable time at Taj Chia Kutir in Kurseong! The service was exceptional, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Special mention of Mr. Rishi and service staff Mr. Sonam and Mr. Souvik. The food was a delight thanks to the wonderful chef Mr. Pankaj who took great care in curating the dishes for us. The location is absolutely beautiful. The evening music by Ms. Kalyani, Mr. Anupam and Mr. Rupam added a romantic touch to our stay. Can't wait to return for another memorable experience!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Taj Chia Kutir, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The staff here are incredibly considerate and cordial, always ready to assist with a warm smile. The Tajness philosophy consistently meets and exceeds expectations. The hospitality at Taj Chia Kutir is truly outstanding. The team goes the extra mile to ensure your comfort and satisfaction during your stay, with a shoutout to Anshika, Bhaskar, Mr Anil and Milu at the front desk for their exceptional service and warm welcome! Kudos to the housekeeping team for decorating our rooms beautifully for the occasion! The weather and ambience added a magical touch to my stay. Surrounded by lush greenery and tranquil surroundings, it was a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The absolute highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the exquisite food and exceptional cocktails. Both Chia Verandah and Sonargaon restaurants left me yearning for more with their culinary masterpieces, including the irresistible Tandoori fish, Naga mutton curry, and delectable Gur ice cream. The mixologist displayed genuine artistry, and every sip, especially the "Himalayan rose gin and whiskey sour” was a sensory delight. I must extend my heartfelt appreciation to the Food & Beverage team, which includes Chef Mukesh, Managers Prerna, Ajay, and Kautav, Mixologist Souvik, and Servers Rahman, Rohan, Anshuman, and many others. Each member of the staff at the property played a pivotal role in ensuring that we felt right at home. I enthusiastically and wholeheartedly recommend Taj Chia Kutir!! If you're in search of a place with considerate staff, amazing cocktails, delectable food, and unparalleled hospitality, this is the place to be. It's an oasis of luxury and relaxation, and I can't wait to return 😊

Wonderful property well maintained. Kids had a wonderful time as well. Bhaskar made the check in process smooth. Chef Mahesh has lead the team wonderfully both places have good food. Restaurants managers along with Ajay and Rishi ensured we had a good meal throughout. Rahman, Prerna, Aniket and dibankar's service was always prompt. Also, Mixologist shovnik makes good cocktails! We did a wonderful tea tour with Prayag he was kind and helpful. Overall recommend this property for a family getaway

Hotel's good, food's decent but service wise it is very bad. Especially their travel desk is very very bad. There is no coordination at all. Probably the worst service in all of Taj hotels in India!!
