It is a beautiful colonial bungalow with latticed windows, high ceilings, wooden floors, four-poster beds, a sun-drenched gazebo and a small library; converted into a premium service homestay equipped with all modern comforts and contemporary amenities. Dotted with antiques, vintage clock and period piece furniture, Albion Heritage House offers facilities like bed and breakfast and Outdoor Dining at the sit-out, where they serve delicious local and continental meals in engraved cutlery. A nature lover's delight, guests at the property can enjoy timeless views of the surrounding snow-capped mountains, throughout their stay. Located right behind Kurseong Tourist Centre off Hillcart Road, Albian heritage house in just 30 km aways from Darjeeling, and a living testimony to our colonial past. The property has 10 Heritage suit rooms which can accommodate up to 20 guests. There is beautiful greenery all around, Buddhist prayer flags fluttering in the breeze and the mesmerizing silence. The added bonus was an old fashioned fire place in the hall which was lit every evening and gave us an old-world Royal Feeling.

Albion Heritage House Kurseong Review : A Home Away from Home I really don’t know where to begin, Albion Heritage House is one place which will remain etched in my mind forever as a happy memory. The sprawling heritage cottage on Hill Kart Road, Kurseong is simply out of an Anjan Dutt classic movie. There is beautiful greenery all around, Buddhist prayer flags fluttering in the breeze and the mesmerizing silence. The Albion Heritage House lived up to its reputation of being a fine comfortable home stay. The view of the ice capped KunchanJunga from the terrace garden is gorgeous. The added bonus was an old-fashioned fire place in the hall which was lit every evening and gave us an old-world Royal Feeling. The beautiful heritage house has been done up tastefully with antique fittings and furniture. All the rooms were spacious, the beds were super comfy and clean, the bathroom had nice fixtures, plush towels and top of the line flooring. We had breakfasts, lunch and dinner there and the menu for both had a great selection and the prices were very reasonable. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the gracious friendly caretaker Pitambar, who was extremely friendly and took good care of us. The helper Naresh was very competent and ever eager to do our bidding. Lastly, the cook Ayush became our favourite because of his delectable momos, chicken Lollypops and Soups. I can bet that the overall service, ambience, food and hospitality can't be found in any 5-star hotel. All respect to Mr Saurav Settt & his team who went above and beyond to make this a comfortable stay. A true sample of excellent hospitality! A must visit for all.

Our stay at the Albion House was nothing short of perfect. The room we stayed at was tidy, spacious and extremely well maintained. The room had heritage furniture and a fireplace in the corner, making us feel like we travelled back in time. The kitchen comes with a breathtaking view of the hills and tiny pine forests. The dining is set up beautifully with antique dinig table and chairs, and even a bookshelf in one of the corners with books older than my mom (she's 61). The food they served was very well prepared, not too heavy or rich but actually mouthwatering. The service was great and the manager and staffs took care of all our requests. All of this at extremely affordable rates. Thank you to the whole team for our smiling faces, we still can't get over it!

We definitely had a cosy stay at Albion heritage, the food was good and services satisfactory. A nice quiet retreat away from home in the hills with a beautiful view of the Kanchanjanga.

Anyone visiting Kurseong, please do visit this property once. You will love it. It's interior, rooms, location wise, delicious food, cleanliness and many more. In addition to that Mr. Pritamber whom I don't find sufficient word that how much I appreciate your kindness. Spending time at this place has been a great pleasure and privilege to us. I thank every individual / member. Staying at Albion will make you feel ROYAL.

The stay is excellent and enjoyed a lot. The staffs( particularly Mr Pritam) are very much humble and was very much caring. The rooms are really having a feeling of heritage establishment with all high class ethnic assets. The house is highly cleaned and proper hygiene maintained. Food services were also good. Overall stay was very much enjoyable.

Excellent environment with hearty welcome, service very good. Very clean. Behaviour of attending staffs great. No internet, but they share wifi.Only two points to be noted. No TV . Atleast 1tv at dinning hall would be better. Old Heritage clocks are non functional. If two things were there it should get 5 star.

Albion House is a centrally located Heritage property, close to tea estates, in the midst of nature. We, my wife & myself, had taken a double bedded room, which contained an old fashioned bed , and antique furniture. Room was spacious & comfortable. The Manager and his Assistants are accommodating and helpful. Food is delicious, but orders for lunch and dinner have to be placed in advance. It's a perfect getaway for a short holiday of rest & relaxation, and recharging your exhausted batteries.

Our party of five just had a very enjoyable time at the Albion House in Kurseong. The hotel's location was excellent with a view of snow capped peaks from the balcony. The rooms were well-appointed with antique furniture , the food well-prepared and the service attentive with Sonal and Sunita, led by Mr Pitamber Das , unfailingly polite. The place is strongly recommended.
