Homestay was located in a very convenient and easy to spot place. The common balcony on the first floor has a beautiful view. Rooms were good and most of them were spacious with lots of big windows. Attached washrooms in all rooms and they were very clean. Hot water geyser were available in washrooms. Rooms were very clean and in general the Homestay was very clean. Hospitality was amazing and the host were courteous. The food was super delicious. They also have a outdoor seating arrangement where lunch and breakfast was served for us on request. They are expanding the homestay to have few more rooms and also a watch tower. These will be available very soon. We were a group of 4 friends in this trip in Feb 2023. We went there for birding. We had an amazing experience staying here. I am sure staying there with family would be equally good experience. I will certainly consider staying here if I plan to stay anywhere in Rongtong/Sepoydhura.

Near Siliguri it was very nice place to stay.. only 21km from Siliguri. Tea garden, good road connectivity, toy train station.. compact place. And this homestay is one of the best property in that place. Good service. Well behaved. Good food. I will surely visit again.

I had visited North Bengal with my friends for a birding and bird photography trip from 3rd Feb - 5th Feb. We booked at Yamfu Homestay. This is our first stay here. The homestay is fantastic! Located at a nice point, good rooms with all basic amenities. The host was very warm and humble. I had one of the best food ever I had in any home stay in North Bengal. Sepaidhura is like 1 hour drive from NJP Station. I thank the host for the excellent service 🙏🏻 Would highly recommend this homestay to fellow travellers.

We stayed there for five days and it was an wonderful experience! The food was delicious and the view was beautiful! Mr. and Mrs. Rai are the sweetest hosts I ever came across. I would definitely visit this place again and again.

In our whole trip, we had the Best experience here in this homestay. The place, the hosts, the view, the hospitality everything was very good. And most importantly the behavior of the people there won our heart. We actually felt home away from our home. 💖

Rai ji and family are very cordial host. It is a perfect stay for birders. We stayed there for 2 nights. One room had attached bath with geyser. Next day got an attic room with shared common toilet without geyser. Rooms were good, food was perfect. Only one problem we faced that, when there was power cut, there was no power backup. Atleast battery backup can charge our camera, mobiles.

Warm hospitality, beautiful location and view from balcony, tasty home cooked food. The road from rongtong to yamfu homestay is very rewarding for bird watchers and nature lovers alike. On the day of check out, it had rained heavily the night before so there was no current and water. We were looking forward to taking a warm bath and recharging our cameras and mobile before leaving but couldn't as there was no electricity since morning. Generator power supply for such unexpected bad days may help the home owners and the guests alike😊

What an amazing gem! I came here to relax and go birding. Fantastic trails to explore and so many birds, even from the balcony. Everyone at the family was super nice and kind and funny and made me most welcome. Three meals a day were great and chi or boiled water whenever you wanted. Consider getting a taxi here. There are local buses that stop at Rongtong and then it's a 3km walk up hill. Easy to arrange pick up and drop off with owners.
