There are countless waterfalls like crazy & that is why Rabindranath tagore call this place as a Paglajhora .

It's located in Hillcart Road, on the way to Mahanadi To Kurseong. The road is free from traffic due to its long distance. People use Rohini Road to reach Kurseong from Siliguri. You may use Rohini Road and take right turn to reach Paglajhora Falls. But I recommend Hillcart Road Best Time to Visit: Monsoon.

Beautiful place. This is the toy train route to a scenic view of the hills leading up to Darjeeling. Drivers avoid it at night as it is considered haunted by the hill people.

Nice place for scenic and birds. Only 1 hearby tea shop and you will get foods also. They open late and closed on Sunday, so carry your own food and water.

A small tea side stall here run by a retired Gentleman from the Army. He himself is courteous and a simpleton, caring professionally for his visitors. He aims to promote the place as well as maintain and upkeep the rich flora and fauna through his meagre earnings. Rich in heart, he also has adopted a small pup and a kitten on whom he showers his love. His place is clean and hygenic and his charges for fast food are nominal. A good place to stop by while passing to enjoy his hospitality as well as the magnificent views around.

Paglajhora waterfall is one of the beautiful tourist attractions in North Bengal. This is situated on the way to Kurseong. Basically this place is the perfect home for clouds, birds, butterflies. This is the best place for bird lovers. In rainy reason, this waterfall become very furious and sometime landslide also occurred.

Splendid water fall especially during monsoon season and when Darjeeling Himalayan Railway or Toy Train passes the falls, it brings the same feelings when train passes the Dudhsagar falls in Goa. So it is "Dudhsagar falls of Bengal" to me. 😍😍😍

On just a mid June Sunday it was cloudy in Siliguri and I took my car asked my friend to join and we were proceeding to the hills but didn't decide where in my mind I was thinking it's been a long while that we didn't travel towards Darjeeling by the Main road through rongton, tindharia so we started towards Darjeeling by the Main road and called another friend of mine who stays near Darjeeling more to come and join us as we are just proceeding towards Darjeeling , he confirmed he is coming and we two picked him up as we crossed the sukna we could see the curves of the road with lust green trees as weather was rainy trees had new leafs grown we stopped many places took pics and finally reached PAGLAJHORA FALLS oh I can't explain plain the place in words water fall was on its full flow with the views of green mountain on other side was like heaven.

Its beautiful after the rainy season. You can find train line infront of it. But the wastes and plastics are seen in the water & it is really disappointing.

A very beautiful place to just stand and watch in awe the beauty of nature and God's creation. A little difficult to take photos due to the road and frequent traffic. A nice place to visit on the way back from Darjeeling to Siliguri

Beautiful location on the side of NH55, if you come on the main road from Kueseong to Siliguri via sukna side by side toy train railway 🚋 then you can find the Paglajhora water Falls

This place looks beautiful in pictures. But when I visited the place two weeks ago, it was not that attractive as in the pictures. I visited there with my father. The lower part of the fall is full of garbages, plastic wastes. However, if one looks the Opposite side, the hill's panoramic view is quite soothing.

No water at all in May, 2023. Maybe this will be beautiful during monsoon. But this is not something that one can enjoy throughout the year.

Beautiful waterfall on Hillcart road. The whole trip to Kurseong from Siliguri to Darjeeling via Tindharia is beautiful especially in the rainy season. You will find beautiful landscapes with scary hill sides at places. It takes longer to reach Kurseong via this route but is worth.

Paglajhora Falls is a beautiful waterfall located in the Darjeeling district of West Bengal, India. The waterfall is situated on the River Paglajhora, which originates from the Singalila range of the Eastern Himalayas. The Paglajhora Falls is a multi-tiered waterfall, cascading down in three stages. The waterfall is surrounded by lush greenery and scenic beauty, making it a popular spot for nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts. The best time to visit Paglajhora Falls is during the monsoon season, from June to September, when the waterfall is at its full glory. The falls can be reached through a trek from the nearby town of Ghum or by road from Darjeeling. Visitors can spend a few hours enjoying the tranquil surroundings of the Paglajhora Falls, taking in the beauty of the waterfall and the surrounding forests. The serene ambiance and mesmerizing beauty make it a must-visit destination in Darjeeling.

If you are looking for a good waterflow in the region, it's definitely the best place you'd see. Nothing crazy though. The view from this place is also pleasant. Nothing crazy, again.

Proper care should be maintained to keep the nature safe. So called tourist (gandus) through plastic , wrapper, water bottles to the falls. Otherwise beautiful falls.

Though a landslide prone area, but one of the hidden gem of the area. There are a lots of other waterfalls, but this one will intrigue you to stop and get a bit close to the splashing water.

Paglajhora is the beautiful waterfall which is located in the east of Kurseong at an elevation of about 6100 ft. The Paglajhora waterfall is situated on Mahaldiram Hill near the town Chimli in the east of Kurseong. The Mahananda river originates from this waterfall and the water from the waterfall descends through Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary and descends further towards the plains of Siliguri and Jalpaiguri. The Mahananda river originated from the Beautiful Paglajhora waterfall has an estimated length of about 360 km out of which 23 km of the river falls inside Bangladesh and from Bangladesh, the river then directs itself to Bihar. The shortest and the easiest route to the waterfall would be through Rohini road which shortens the distance till the waterfall. After following the Rohini road, stay moving upward until you reach the diversion before reaching Kurseong. From there, you are supposed to turn right towards the NH110 and a few kilometers away is the fascinating and beautiful Paglajhora waterfall. The distance from Siliguri to Paglajhora waterfall would be around 22 km. It is about equal distances from Darjeeling as well as Siliguri, but your effort till Paglajhora waterfall would be worth your time and effort. Enjoy your holidays .
