Darjeeling is known for its many famous places for food.I've always wanted to try some authentic food, so I found this amazing little cute restaurant. A beautiful place for having the best Tibetan , Korean and Darjeeling food. We went for dinner, and some items were not available at that time 😞 We ordered the famous Dragon chicken Bao . It was super tasty and recommend it. Veg Noddles with Garlic Chicken . Both the taste and quantity were amazing. It is a very small place with only 8 tables available, so always expect a waiting period. We had to wait 30 mins to get a table but every second of it is worth it.❤️

This is one of my top picks when I visit Darjeeling. This restaurant doesn't fail to impress. The owner is very hospitable, the staff also is quick in serving, the best is the food quality. The items are evenly priced. Location also is great at the start of Mall Road. I enjoyed the food at Dekevas restaurant and experience, do recommend.

Totally loved this place. A small restuarant with high quality food. The owner recommended us and guided us through the menu , explaining what we can order with what. Tried the alu phing mushroom soup (glass noodles), their momos, baos ( excellent taste). The Tibetan platter with fried rice and chilli chicken was also really tasty. The best we had was the Japanese Ramen bowl, super filling and super delicious. The blueberry panna cotta though a bit small, but was so fresh that it won all our hearts. Definitely recommending everyone who visits Darjeeling to pay this place a visit. No one shall be disappointed..

Dekevas and Kunga are probably in the pit stop list for all the foodies out there. So, after about 40 minutes of waiting, when we got a chance to enter Dekevas, we simply wanted the best of the tastes. But, was it really worth it? There were only 6 tables inside and each had seating capacity of 4. So, you can understand the waiting time. And, that's ok. There are several such small restaurants in the world that are churning out delectable foods everyday. But, once you order the food, there is a wait time of almost 20-30 minutes before it shows up. That's ok as well if the taste worth the wait. We ordered Ramen and Bibimbap with mix of chicken and pork. The ramen broth was spicy with a good hint of chili, a hard boiled egg rather than a soft one, less vegetables and major portion of noodles. The Pork Bibimbap had just a mouthful portion of cubed and fried pork, with some sauteed spinach, a poached egg on top, and a load of fried rice at the bottom. None of the ramen or the bibimbap had the wow factor and could explain the incredible rush for this place.

just beside Kunga. This place serves many korean dishes. And also remains open till 9 30pm. We tried their Pork Shapta , Pork Bibimbap (definitely try), and Pork Ramen (the. noodle tasted more like Maggi but was delicious) would like to try their korean donuts but it was unavailable at that time. their menu card is cute and also play nice 2000s English music. They seating area is for like 5 groups of people only.

This restaurant is a must visit place, it's situated in the Mall road and if anyone is planning to visit Darjeeling should definitely dine-in here. The restaurant's food is delectable and the aura will dive you into it. We had the Dragon chicken Bao, Bibimbap, noodles, soup, ramen and veg spring roll etc. The place has not been crafted in a huge area rather it's a cosy restaurant which will always give you a vibe of warm welcomes. The service is quick and the staff here are super friendly and talented. They will never miss to give you a smile whenever you look at them. The price is sensible according to the quality of the food. The owner of this place is a gentleman, although the good part is he will never miss out on interacting with each of its guests. I would give a 10/10 to all the options applicable to rate this restaurant.

A small cafe just near the famous Kunga Restaurant and Keventers. This cafe stole our heart. It is a small heartwarming place with great food that touches your soul. The owners here were so sweet and guided us through the different dishes. The food is amazing to look at, and even better in taste. Me and my friend share a Japanese Chicken Ramen Bowl and Honey Chilli Potato amongst us. It filled our stomachs more than enough. 500 is the pocket pinch for two people here. When in Darjeeling, make sure to visit this place!

A beautiful place for having the best Tibetan and Darjeeling food. The staff were very warm and fluent in English. 5/5 for the Japanese Ramen and Darjeeling ice Tea. Desserts are also highly recommended. Will suggest everyone visiting Darjeeling to pay a visit to this place and enjoy your hot ramen while experiencing the chilly Darjeeling weather.

If you're in Darjeeling and tired of the usual Tibetan fare, you should definitely check out this hidden gem located near Kunga. Despite its small size, this restaurant packs a punch when it comes to flavor. My cousins recommended the bao, and I have to say it was the highlight of the meal. The juicy chicken and mayo filling was a burst of delight in my mouth. We also tried the chicken fried rice with dry chili chicken, which was cooked to perfection, and the bibimpak, which was topped with a fried egg and mixed veggies - definitely worth a try. The only dish that didn't quite live up to our expectations was the soupy ramen, but it was still decent. The ambiance could be better, but if you're looking for a less crowded spot to enjoy your meal, this is definitely one of the best places to check out. The service was fine, but the food was the real star of the show. Overall, I would rate this restaurant an 8.5 out of 10. The pocket pinch for one is around ₹400-600, which is quite reasonable considering the quality of the food. If you're looking for a change of pace from the usual Darjeeling fare, definitely give this place a try.

First time went to darjeeling. Everyone suggested kunga. But thank god we did not get placed there. The food, the ambience the service was amazing. Beyond words. We had (5% tax extra) korean chicken bibimbap - 250/- chicken thupka - 200/- beef shapta (thinly sliced beef tossed with bellpapers and onions and sauces). - 230/- Food was piping hot and fresh. One dish could easily be shared with 2 people. The portion sizes are huge and the taste is unmatchable. Will never opt for any other resturant in Darjeeling. In addition to that they had a separate breakfast menu as well.

The place is crowded and I have to wait in line to get inside but it is worth the food . The price is great it costs us 700 for 2 people (depending on order) they have only a few tables not for solo Eaters as it is very small. But the service is good but slow. They have a takeaway option and i will recommend this place over any other best momos i ever had till date

Housed just beside Kunga and sharing a common wall, this place has given a tough fight to Kunga recently with it's outstanding food and a great menu to select from. Differing slightly from the Chinese and Tibetan cuisine, they have successfully ventured into Japanese, Korean and breakfast dishes. The momos were beautifully cooked, even the veg momo was delectable. I tried the egg spring roll and it was fantastic with a thin wrap of fried dough carefully concealing the egg and veggies inside. We tried the beef ramel bowl and it was decent at most. The beef was a bit mellow in flavour. Presentation here is good, service is quick, portions are good. Here also, one would have to wait for some time as the space is not much. Still worth it.

Located beside Kunga, very nearby to Keventers, it's a very good food joint. They provide a lot of fooding options, starting from momos, baos, thukpas, ramen, noodles, Chinese starters in all chicken, pork and beef. We tried the bao at first, both the chicken and beef bao were just awesome. Surely a must try in Dekevas. Then we tried a few starters like garlic chicken, dry chilli chicken, and all, it was delicious. Then we went for some noodles. Everything was just so tasty, that we were left craving for more. The service is really good aswell. We were carrying a lot of luggage as we were returning from Darjeeling to Siliguri at that time, the guy who was taking orders was so so helpful, he carried out luggage inside and kept it safely so that we can enjoy our meal peacefully. We haven't tried the momos and thukpas here yet, but will be visiting again very soon.

One of the best restaurants to have authentic chinese food in Darjeeling. A very small eatery located just besides the Darjeeling mall, this place churns out fantastic chinese delicacies freshly made. The taste plus portion sizes are awesome. Recommended.

A true delight for foodies! This place is just beside the famous Kunga Restaurant but by no means less than it when it comes to the awesome food and service! If I have to compare I would say Dekevas is far better in ambience and service when compared to Kunga and food quality is at par! Now coming to the food we ordered the following: 1) Korean Chicken Bibimbap - 8/10 🌶️ The dish is awesome when it comes to the look of it but taste wise it is butter fried rice with some greens and stir fried chicken and some carrots with the sunny side fried egg. Nothing super amazing but the presentation was superb! 2) Dragon Chicken Bao - 9.5/10 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The best baos I have ever had! The dragon chicken was crunchy and tasted superb and the baos were soft and moist! The best combination. Just had to deduct a few points coz few chicken pieces were a little hard but it's a MUST try! 3) Fresh Lime Mint & Orange Mint - 10/10 🍊🧡 Both tasted as well but I really liked the orange mint coz it had both the sweetness and tanginess of an orange which was to my liking.

This place is worth the wait to get in. We had the Bao which were lovely and fluffy and soft. The filling we had was Mongolian beef but I think the chicken will be better. The ramen portion is huge. The service was very fast. We ordered before we got in the restaurant so there was not much time to wait for food. Highlight was the dessert! Chocolate mousse was best I’ve had in India. Highly recommend. Also very reasonably priced food.

Delicious momos, dragon chicken, iced tea, noodles and chocolate mousse. Pork chilli was alright, needed a little more salt. Only self-service but waiters were great. Also there was great music playing. Highly recommended.

I had no idea about this place and just happened to stumble upon it one evening when I was starving. I ordered the Chicken Japanese Ramen, Kimchi Fried rice and instantly fell in love with both. The broth of the ramen was so good, and the rice was near perfect as each rice grain had the kimchi flavour. I mean, hats off to the chef. PS. The photos are of bad quality as I was more interested in eating.

I recently visited Dekevas in Darjeeling, tucked away in the heart of the shopping market next to Keventers and Kunga Restaurant. Despite its limited seating, the restaurant boasts a charming Tibetan, Korean, and Chinese menu with a cozy interior. Sure, the waiting time for the food order was a bit longer, but the quality made it worth it. I tried the steam chicken momo (8 pieces for Rs 160) and the Tibetan chicken thukpa (Rs 200), and I must say, it was a culinary delight! The momos were incredibly juicy, a true Darjeeling specialty. The thukpa, loaded with veggies, eggs, noodles, chicken, and flavorful soup, could easily satisfy three hungry tummies. The balance of spice and taste was spot-on. Despite the limited seating, Dekevas is definitely a gem for those craving authentic Tibetan, Korean, and Chinese flavors in Darjeeling.

It will give you a typical Korean noodle shop vibe which I liked the most. All the items were top notch and lip smacking. This place is located just beside Kunga! We tried: ~Hot chocolate ~Fresh Lime soda ~Orange mint soda ~Chicken Fried Momo ~Crispy Chilli Chicken ~Ginger Chicken ~Pork Fried rice ~Chicken Tibetan Thukpa All the items were amazing and had very good quantity. If you are in Darjeeling and do visit this place.

Worst service....they take tablewise order and serve the full order for one table and then only take up the next one. They will keep you waiting more than 45-50 mins. We had to cancel our order after waiting for almost an hour. The manager as well as staffs are very rude.

Perfect location. Don’t forget to stop here when you are at chaurasta strolling down the streets. We ordered a special non veg combo and fried momos. Great taste. Very busy May have to wait for your turn. But don’t let that turn you away. Taste guaranteed.

Dekevas restaurant is just below Dekeling Hotel which is one of the best hotels of Darjeeling. It is their own restaurant too. So you can order food from Dekevas while at Dekeling. The food quality is topnotch and wrt the pricetags, the quantity and quality both are good.
