It's a heritage property with attractive interior design with historical and traditional unique showpiece. Rooftop restaurant is blessed with beautiful view. Rooms are spacious, decorated with historical items. Food is very good, service is also good. It's nice when you see the aged yellow land rover welcoming you at the main entrance.

Stopped at the restaurant for lunch and had a great experience. Food quality, prices, service, ambience are of 5 star. Will definitely stay and experience their hospitality next time. Variety of foods are also one of their USP. One thing that was surprising and seems like a negative point is the fact that they do not have take away service. No packing and carrying food from the place.

A heritage colonial hotel, with great views from the Suite Rooms with attic on the top. Good restaurant with great food, but menu options can be better. Complimentary buffet breakfast is great.

Cochrane place is not just a hotel. Its an experience that has left an everlasting memory. The grand view of kanchenjunga, the hospitality, the tranquility, along with very prompt service, not to forget the lip smacking gastronomical feats nearly blew my mind. Will ask everyone to visit atleast once in their lifetime.

What an amazing experience to stay for just one night in this heritage property beautifully restored curated and preserved. Amazing hospitality, down to earth people, mind blowing culinary items and brilliant view from every nook and corner. The entire set up seems unbelievable and transfers you to a different world, charming decor and such beautiful pieces of art. A fine tasted person will cherish Cochrane Place like amything.

Service was fantastic. The place was well stocked and they took great care to make me feel welcome. They catered to all my requests with speed and politeness, very impressive. Food was simply excellent like the views and the location. My only complaint is that the walls are quite thin and the noise from maintenance workers carried through intermittently especially in the early hours of the morning. Very much a recommendation from me.

Nice place to stay for a day or two...this boutique hotel is located in a calm and quiet place amidst a few famous tea-estates...well decorated in British colonial style.

An ideal place to sit on the open terrace of the hotel in the fall afternoon, sipping tea and enjoying the scenic beauty of Kurseong city.

Rooms are nice but could have been better.. Service is nice but could have been bit faster.. Location is stunning and probably the best in Kurseong.. The behaviour of the staffs are too polite and respectful.

It is a beautiful restaurant cum cafe. Nearer to Makaibari Tea Estate. One will enjoy their variety of Teas, Snacks and brunch items, especially when sitting on their open terrace looking towards the hilly mountain scenery.

The place and the food both were very nice and praiseworthy. Please do not go by its look, it is old and archaic somewhat but the experience is undoubtedly good. If weather is good, you may have the best experience from the 1st floor open restaurant.

Wonderful ambience, beautiful heritage property, great food and service. Only housekeeping needs to improve, especially bed linen and room cleanliness.

We came here for dining. Tried pizza, kadhai mix veg, Indian breads and some fried rice. All food was properly cooked and tasted good. Rates can be given ₹₹ which are decent considering tourist place and taste. One major meal for 3 will cost approximately 1K. There is beautiful valley view on both sides of the restaurant. Heaters are installed in restaurant to regulate temperature 🌡. Staff is polite and courteous. Dining time for walkin is from 8am to 7pm. The place has parking too for dining 🍽 guests.

I have stayed in dozen of hotels & this was on the top of the list of best stay/experience ever. The property is a part of heritage & has a fantastic old time charm. Staff was very hospitable & there for every need. Will definitely recommend!

The food from here is never enough, it is soo tasty. From the staff to the rooms everyone and everything is amazing. Our stay here was as incredible as it should be because Cochrane Place is a place you cannot miss out on. Lastly you cannot miss out on the pizzas.

Visited twice here.... The place is mesmerising with all the old british culture right there in front of your eyes.... Beautifully maintained by staff. The flower garden is perfect for taking pictures as well as the Cochrane place interiors. And last mention for the food.... Worth the value. The Indian food there is beyond expectations in a hill station. Will be visiting again and again... Never getting old this place!
