Our stay with Pemba and his family felt like a home away from home. They were incredibly gracious and attended to our every need, making us feel comfortable and welcomed. They generously showed us around their property, including their beautiful kiwi garden. Additionally, Pemba provided us with recommendations for unique places to visit in the area. Please keep in mind that the pricing at this homestay, as well as other homestays, is based on a per-person basis rather than a per-day rate like hotels. It's important to be aware of this before your check-in to avoid any misunderstandings or disagreements with the property owner.

I don't normally write review but this place is special for us . Stayed there in 29 Dec . We stayed in tent and it snowed there. Pemba ji shifted us to another room and it was very cosy . Homestay was beautiful, it is surrounded by forest and is also near National Highway. Services and hospitality was best there . They also gave us fresh kiwi fruit from their garden . All in all it was wonderful experience. Much love to Mommy, Papaji, Tashi and Cham . Miss you all .

The host are so friendly and welcoming, I took a solo trip and they made me feel at home, aunty is very nice , will always ask you for chaiπŸ˜… and her chai is the best. Got to know a lot about the local tradition and culture over there. And Taashi, who helped me roam around the place is also nice, he was like a brother , shared so many stories and we went for cycling in chatakpur forest , it was the best thrilling experience we had. 😍😍 over all it was the best experience I had

Had an awesome time here. We wanted an area outside the hustle and bustle of city and this place is exactly what we were looking for. Had some reservation before booking our stay but after the cordial talk with the owner we were made comfortable . They are actually a homestay and has a small dog Jimmy. The family, bonding and environment is worth envying for . 10/10 recommendation. Only thing that breaks our heart is that our timing didn't allowed us to explore their forest and Kiwi fruit garden . But lets keep it for next time . Thank you all <3

Thank you for the wonderful time . Pemba Ji, your service was beyond our expectation . The location, price, rooms, hospitality, service all is best . To anyone looking at this review, visit this place without any second thought . Bonfire, Kiwi, forest camping and Momos was best πŸ’• Will come again when tree house construction is completed .

A homestay at Hillcart road, Sonada, with option of staying at farm house of theirs.. You can easily stay here on the way of your North Bengal trip, with family, friends...not at all crowded like any other popular hill stations, but lovely place with beautiful environment. The world famous toy train line passes just infront of the building and you can enjoy the view of the toy train from the balcony itself.. Good service, good people, good view, but only from top floor rooms.. food is also good. Drink only mineral water. After a day or two rest, you can enjoy the beauty of Chatakpur forest, which is very nearby, and obviously you can go to Darjeeling via Ghum and also bonus, you can also avail the road to Lamahatta which will eventually lead you to Teesta Triveni or to Sevok.

The rooms were spacious and clean with beautiful scenic views, the services were also good at Sherpa Residency and Farmhouse The host coordinated well with us,cater to our needs( accomodations, fooding, entertainment) and guided our tour. At Sherpa Residency you also get glimpse of Buddhist culture, interaction with the regional people and they also make you visit their kiwi farmhouse When In Darjeeling do plan your stay here it will surely add awesomeness to your trip

Excellent homestay in the true sense. Very cosy comfortable clean rooms. Nice tasty wholesome home food. Very warm family. Felt completely at home. The homestay is on the main road. Parking is available. Secured place. They have a beautiful pine forest of about 4000 trees planted by Mr Sherpa. Kiwi trees. Chandan trees and lots of vegetables are grown by them. So what they cook is totally organic food. Mr Sherpa is a practicing buddhist. They have a lovely home. A very warm hospitable family who took great care for our comforts. Will definitely stay there again soon.
