It's a great place with beautiful view, makes for a nice picnic spot 👌🏻 If you want to stroll by a water body while being at the hills, this is the point. One can stroll around do boating and horse riding here. It is peaceful place by the side of the lake, one will enjoy the sanctity away from the clamour. There's an entry fee of around ₹15-20 per person.

If you coming from Bagdogra or going towards it would be a good of a stop to view this beautiful lake in Mirik. For starters it will be the only thing that you will go to see in Mirik, if you are coming specially for it all the way from Darjeeling, only add if you have extra days. During my recent visit in March 2022, I noticed boating being introduced. You can take a horse ride too. No entry fee was charged only parking fee. Overall a good place for relaxing.

Very scenic place which added a spark on the north Bengal beauty. Undoubtedly lakes are the great attraction mainly in hills and it's very big and specially beautiful for the surrounding park. The maintenance is great. You can enjoy boating and horse riding here. You can visit this place on the way to darjeeling or any other north Bengal destination.

It's a beautiful tourist destination of Darjeeling. It's a lake surrounded by a well decorated garden. One side of the lake is pine forest. The other side is the park. U have to buy a 20 rupee entry ticket to enter the park. Horse riding and boating facilities are available. Restaurants are available outside the park. Overall it's a good spot to enjoy with family.

I always say this is like the Nainital lake of west bengal. This is located near Mirik town. If you planning to stay in Mirik then you will surely enjoy this lake. Its very calm and peaceful and also very scenic. We could only stay for 2 hrs at this place, will definitely plan to stay in Mirik in our next trip!!

Happy to see that the place has been maintained much better than how it used to be in the past. Mirik view point is clean, well stuffed with restaurants and lodges all around. There's a park with 20 rupees entry fee which is well decorated and clean again. The lake is beautiful, especially around the monsoon. You can do horse riding as well at a budget rate. There is abundance of street foods or momos as well. You have nice forest to roam around and be with nature. There's a bridge and a nice view point too. Be sure to keep some time in hand as you might like to do boating or other activities.

A beautiful lake, nice to see. If you are just passing by then buying tickets at the park entrance is wastage of money. One can enjoy the view of the lake and walk through the bridge and Pine forest without spending money. The park authority doesn't disclose this. It's sort of cheating

Mirik Lake View Point is a truly majestic and heavenly spot! As I gazed upon the serene lake from the viewpoint, I was mesmerized by its crystal-clear waters reflecting the surrounding mountains. The lush greenery and colorful gardens adorned its banks, creating a picturesque scene. The tranquil ambiance was further enhanced by the chirping of birds and gentle ripples on the water's surface. It felt like stepping into a dreamworld, a place where time slows down, and worries fade away. Mirik Lake is nature's masterpiece, and the view from the viewpoint is a surreal experience that captivates the soul. A must-visit destination for anyone seeking solace and beauty!

Fantastic during sunset, the view from the forest is awesome, there are several shops to buy orchids, flowering plants, tea, gift items. Also local foods are added to spend time, horse riding etc.

If you're planning a trip to Darjeeling, make sure you add Mirik Lake to it. It's a place that could just make you fall in love with everything, with its ecstatic views by the lake and it feels like a Bollywood romantic place. Personally I would love to visit this place once again with more time♥️ Don't miss the fresh juices over there, it tastes heaven

We visited this place during November. For Boating you can try this place. If you are a vegetarian please plan ahead for your food. You can see lot of non- veg options around there but very less veg options. We tried Maggi near the lake it was very costly for the quantity they have given. Nothing scenic about this place when we visited but you can relax for sometime. The toilet facility is the worst. It was not clean and only one can use at a time.

Nice place.. We had a horse ride over there.. Very beautiful.. if you want to ride on boats you have to book your ticket before 4pm as boating is closed at 4pm -- 2 people cost Rs.200

If you want to stroll by a water body while being at the hills, this is the point. One can stroll around do boating and horse riding here. It is peaceful by the side of the lake and one can visit after 2:30/3PM when there will be not much of people visiting. There's a light breeze and one will enjoy the sanctity away from the clamour. Also if one wants to visit the nearby monastery, one can walk for a few metres (which will be a mini hiking). Follow Google Maps and it will be short way.

Peace . Mirik Lake in Darjeeling is one of the beautiful attractions that will take your breath away. From its picturesque natural surrounding to the pleasant climate, each thing will give you a beautiful reason to spend some time here. This lake is also known as Sumendu Lake, and the area around its pristine waters is covered with pine trees and lush green gardens. Adjoining the two is the aching footbridge over the lake, also known as Rainbow bridge.

This is a beautiful place with wonderful atmosphere in the lap of hills. A very big lake surrounded by the pine forests. This lake is 1.25 km long and it is the major tourist spot in Mirik. It is a beautiful man made lake surrounded by a beautiful garden on one side and dense forest of pine, cardamom and the orange trees on the other and also so many variety type of flowers.
