Surat Municipal Corporation is the local civic body responsible for the administration of Surat, Gujarat which has come into being under the Bombay Provincial Municipal Act, 1949. The Surat Municipal Corporation was established on 2 October 1966. It carries out all the obligatory functions and discretionary functions entrusted by the BPMC Act,1949 with the following mission: To make Surat a dynamic, vibrant, beautiful, self-reliant and sustainable city with all basic amenities, to provide a better quality of life Surat Municipal Corporation perceives its role as the principal facilitator and provider of services as detailed below to provide a better quality of life.

Not proper cleaning of this park

Average The garden has grass all over the area. As a result, this makes it the best place for any exercise. Furthermore, it has a soft ground where children can play different sports. This ensures that they do not get hurt even if they fall down while playing. Further, my garden has a swing too which is my favorite. Because I can spend hours swinging on it and do not get bored. Sometimes I spend my entire day in the garden completing all my tasks there. But this is only possible whenever I have a holiday.

this is very peaceful place. Here you can enjoy with family also you enjoy picnic.In morning you, your friends,also your family do exercise. Here mini playground with some exercises instrument. children can play many games here. In this park senior citizens sit on bench and talk to each other. Drinking water and toilet are available on this palce. In this place Government grow some beautiful plant amd flower those are very wonderful.

Surat mahanagar palika udyan garden contains different types of plants. For instance, it has different flowers such as roses, sunflowers, Lilies, daisies. These flowers are the easiest to grow and flourish the environment with their beautiful smells. Moreover, the colors of these flowers make a garden look beautiful. Further, my garden has different vegetables growing in them. For example vegetables like tomato, carrots, sweet potato, cauliflower, bell pepper, etc. These are the easiest to grow. Apart from this, they have various health benefits. Furthermore, this ensures that the vegetables are fresh and free from any chemicals. The garden has grass all over the area. No maintenance by SMC .. no cleanliness otherwise heaven for people wanting exercise....

Nice place to hangout in your free time if you are looking for a calm place in surat. People visit it in large amount so its a crowded place in surat. There is also a separate section for scating and some other sports. Be aware of pocket thief while hangout in this crowded place.

One of the most favorite place for varachha(mini Saurashtra) people namly Maharana pratap udyan. It is famous as chowpati in peoples. Mind refresher place at the bank of river tapi(surya putri).

It's quit good place for greenary. Best for half day picnic with family and friend.

Garden owned and managed by surat mahanagar palika. Place required for more cleaning.

Not maintain properly. We complain on smc application but they are not do anything.

This garden is not Well maintained. It requires Improvement in gardening. Also need to clean daily.
