Erinomaista kahvia ja Briittakakkua täältä. Siisti ja viihtyisä paikka josta saa myös lounasta. Mahtava sijainti jossa on rauhallista. Excellent restaurant/Cafe outside of town centre. Beutifull surroundings and old houses near by.

Really tasty food for an excellent price. Family run business where you get a lot for you money. Free cake when it rains! The place is very cozy, the food is simple, wholesome and yummy, and the service is sweet.

Superb family run Cafe in the heart of Turku. Great value for money and very friendly service. The Brita cake is heavenly. I highly recommend a visit if you are ever in this beautiful city.

A very cute and wholesome cafe with amazing cinnamon knots, lovely smooth coffee, and delicious home cooked simple food with vegetarian options. The atmosphere is warm, cozy and typical. It’s a jewel.

Lounaaksi saa 8€ puoliksi poltetun, kova pohjaisen margharita pizzan, tähän kuuluu myös kahvi + salaatti. Paikka on hieno ja palvelu mukavaa, mutta ruoka on peruskoulu tasoa kahdeksan kertaisella hinnalla. Luultavasti parempi kahvilan kuin lounaspaikka.

Latte oli HYVIN vaalea, eikä maistunut kahvilta ollenkaan. Kävin kertomassa tästä kassalla, ja ehdotin ostavani extra espressoshotin kahvini sekaan. Sen sijaan myyjä sanoi tekevänsä uuden. Ei se uusi kauheasti auttanut, kun oli ihan samanlainen kuuma lasi maitoa sekin. Jäi juomatta x 2.

Positiivisesti yllättävä kokemus jäi tästä kahvilasta. Mukava paikka kahden kesken tavata ja nauttia Turun kieltämättä yhdestä tunnelmallisimmista kuppiloista, joissa leivonnaiset olivat maittavia. Tarjoilevat myös muutakin syötävää (lounasta) ja erilaisia jälkiruokia. Sisältä löytyi myös erilaisia taideteoksia ihmeteltäväksi.

A very nice place, with a pleasant atmosphere and good coffee. Most of the visitors are students, researchers and lecturers from nearby universities. Pleasant and quiet seating areas inside and outside. A recommended place for meetings, or being alone with your laptop.

Really chill homy atmosphere. Sandwiches and cakes are homemade and tastet great. I'll most definitely make a stop here next time I visit Turku again.

Symppis paikka ja hyvä palvelu. Asiakaskunta hieman omissa maailmoissa pööpöilevää porukkaa, joilla ei tunnu olevan minnekään kiire ja sen näkee kyllä jonokäyttäytymisessä.

Nyt viimein pääsin tänne! Vau, mitä herkkuja olikaan kaffin kanssa ja vielä itse tehtyjä! Ihana miljöö! Onneksi on vielä tällaisia paikkoja olemassa.

This place serves luke warm food. The place gets overcrowded. But if you are running on a budget, you can buy affordable meals.

Lovely and very cozy place, tasty buffet breakfast, yummy jam, kind and lovely owners. 100% recommend to everyone.

Cozy atmosphere and quick service. Unfortunately I wasn't a fan of the food. I had the Thursday lunch option, vegan avocado pasta. I ended up with overcooked pasta noodles that managed to taste sour, very bitter and spicy all at once. The accompanying pancakes had a slightly sweet flavour but a mushy texture (and were not accompanied by cream or jam). Sad to say my stomach was a little upset after. I would not get that particular lunch again, but perhaps I would recommend Fabbes as a place for coffee and home baked goods. I am very grateful for the owner's and chef's reply and have made revisions to my review. As it stands the flavours, textures, and presentation of the dish were simply not to my liking.

It is always nice to sit in fabbes because it is so cozy. Now, they have Christmas breakfast for only 7 euros. You get fresh baked bread, eggs, cheese etc plus a really well made rice porridge with Christmas sauce...really really good

Good lunch and breakfast for a fair price! Fantastic baked goods, and cakes are out of this world. The selection of cakes changes from day to day. One of the few places to start working early in the morning and serve good breakfast. Unfortunately, they close early on weekdays and are closed for good on weekends, so it’s not so easy to visit unless one is working nearby. Cozy old-style interior, and always friendly service.
