Travel Town is so fun! We loved getting to walk through the train engines and cars! We were moving at a leisurely pace and saw everything in 2.5-3 hours. We were there on a Saturday and people were giving tours of the train they are working on restoring. They also have a miniature train to ride. $3.50 for adults and $3 for children. It goes around the perimeter of Travel Town twice. Parking is free. Admission is free. They request donations. You are welcome to bring your own food into the area to picnic with the trains.

It is a nice place to bring your children if they are interested in trains. The visit is quickly done. I won’t recommend to ride the train there, you and your children will have a better experience to next door at the Walt Disney. The place was a bit sad because not much things to see or do.

Cool little park/musuem. Great for kids birthdays/get togethers. The cars can be rented and are affordable ( 150 after getting your deposit back). They have a fridge and has air conditioning inside. Lots of trains to look at with a cute train ride that goes around the park. Only down side is there isn't any trains you can really climb which is all the kids want to do.

Awesome place... definitely hidden gem. Great for families and little kids. Great for photoshoot and picnic. Free!!! What’s free in LA? I highly recommend this place, especially if you have little kids who love trains, or if you love trains!

Nice place too. Visit lots of history museums. And it free. Just the train ride is not but it's worth it. Good to take your family.

Very good spot if you are travelling with young kids. They have a large collection of old trains, you can approach them and even get inside. The place also features a few interesting exhibits. There are a few tables inside to you can picnic there. The only inconvenience is that it's close to the highway to it's always a bit noisy

This was a favorite place to take my nanny kids years ago. So I was very excited to bri g my own kids once they opened back up Before the pandemic of course we had train sets put out for kids to play with and we could bring our own train or buy one from the museum shop and play with on the elaborate wooden train tracks that they had. Now it's still a fun place to run around but can't go in the train cars anymore. There was one locomotive that you can go into The best thing is the ride around the park on the small train. It goes around 2x and lasts about 10mins and very reasonably priced. I know they rent out canopies for parties. I will be back my daughter loved walking the tracks and playing with the little rocks.

Fun place to take littles and those who love trains. The train ride was fun and they take charge. 4.00 for adults and 3.00 for kids over 17 months. They drove you around the area twice, which was nice. Definitely will be back.

We took our 3 year old grandson to this train museum. He loved it. We ended with a trip to the shop. He picked out a train engine and a tall lollipop.

Cool place to bring your little ones or just have a nice walk. There's many trains, a train ride for a very small fee. There's also a cool gift shop and a nice little museum.

Travel town was fun in the 70's. It's a wreck now. All the locos and cars are in a state of decay. Spider webs over everything. Can't go into any cars anymore except one loco. Feral cats and skunks inhabit the area. The museum that had cars, fire trucks and models seems to no longer exist. They should close it.

A bit of everything, small trains, big trains and more trains. Plenty of small snacks, and a friendly service.

It is a place suitable for traveling with children. You can take a small train to visit all the parks together. There are many decommissioned trains parked in the park, free to visit and take photos, and also to experience the experience. Souvenir shops can buy model trains, electric trains can drive themselves or buy a whole set of model trains with rails. A must-visit place for train fans, with a commemorative value of the history of the West Coast Railroad.

Great place to take your kid's and yourself first some train riding fun, they have big model trains on site from back in time, and they also have a small train that you can go on a ride on you'd have to buy tickets the prices are $3 for kid's and $4 for adults, once your on it it'll ho twice around the railroad where you can see all the trains as you pass by, it's awesome and so much fun I highly recommend it and the Parking is free which makes it a plus.

The exhibits were nice, however the staff here was continually rushing myself and our kids "so others can enjoy the exhibits" despite others standing around taking numerous selfies. Despite keeping a respectable distance away from all the exhibits, we were constantly asked to move farther and farther back.

Visited right after the rain on a cold windy day and inside of the Gift Shop was so comfortably warm after being outside in crisp cold air. Lovely selection of train toys with a great variety of drink/snacks. Definitely worth a visit after your next train ride!!

This is beautiful contemporary museum which is centrally located and next Walt Disney Hall. And it's free. They put out a calendar on their website and you just have to sign for a day and time you want to visit. They also have the walk in options but I didn't want to wait and the not be able to go in. I highly recommend reserving your tickets ahead time.

The staff could be more friendly. They have great artwork!! I think this place is fairly big. I really wanted to go into the infinity room but unfortunately the line was super long... 2 and half hour wait... it too long for me so I didn't get the chance to go. They also have a cute gift shop where they sell all art stuff which were interesting.

This place was so much fun to the kids! Even the surprise, that the admission was for free. You can discover a few of the trains and they also have a gift shop, picknick spots, miniature train ride and a lot more.

It was a nice place to go. We got many toy trains. There are many real trains outside this little gift shop which is very nice. Everything is also at a good price. I don't think it's expensive.

Cool little shop but gave it a 4 star because they didn't have anymore stickers or magnets with Travel Town on them.

Travel town is a childhood treasure that I have been able to pass down to my kids. We love the new gift shop and there is a Thomas the tank engine O Guage Lionel going around the top. my 2 year old son would try to make the train sounds and the cashier had the remote to make Thomas whistle back. He was incredibly excited to see that happen. I twas a magical experience for him. Thank You!
