The museum is really cute. I like the Wuebec first class car and all the activities for kids. The artifacts are spread throughout. The visit was informative.I just wish some were individually labeled but that’s a personal preference. We had a great time!

This place is amazing. Very family and kid friendly. Justino, who gave us the tour, was so nice and patient and explained everything amazingly. He took his time to make the tour super fun, and even our 3-year-old was super interested. I definitely recommend coming here. The entry prices are very reasonable as well. Fun day trip for the family. Try to take the tour they start at 10.30 and then every hour. You won't regret it. You get so much history and information. It's just great. They also have a wooden toy train where the kids can play and climb in and a fully stocked play room where they can play while the parents look at the model trains. The tour ends right by the playroom, so this was a nice touch. We will definitely be back.

I recently visited the Rosenberg Railroad Museum and had a great time. The inside was closed but I really enjoyed exploring the exhibits outside and train cars. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. I especially loved the model railroads. I would highly recommend visiting this museum if you're ever in the area. The model trains outside are really cool

I have small kids with short attention spans so opted out of the tour. Don't do it! Or ask for a kid tour possibly? Everywhere is locked if you don't go on the tour. Luckily we had some nice workers walk is through the big train and model area in the back. My kids would have stayed in the play place for hours.

Great rail road museum in old down town Rosenberg. The tour was great and the model train room is filled with various layouts with different train sizes. They have a G Scale layout outside. They also have a toy play area that has many Thomas and friends toys and plenty of track for your child to build his own layout. I've been twice and will return, great places to eat around the museum as well.

The guided tour was nice. Several items in the exhibits are very rare and worth the time to check out- the mechanic interlock system , the luxury train cabins and the train models. Highly recommended!

A nicely maintained museum with many model trains, an original caboose, a switching station and a luxury car. Matthew, my guide, was as enthusiastic and as knowledgeable as a museum guide should be. A ticket is required to enter the exhibits and includes the tour. Everything is clean and well signed.

This is one of the best places to take a 2 year old who loves trains. We could spend all day here. The guides gave us so much info and my nephew was thrilled.

After hearing other moms talk about bribing their kids here I decided to do a little day date with my husband. I had doubts that my kids would enjoy a museum about trains so I thought I would check it out before spending the drive time and money to bring them here and leave after 5 minutes. This place is interesting to me as an adult; it’s not somewhere that I would take my kids to as it’s was a bit on the boring side. It’s very informative but kids don’t want to be informed about trains and their schedules. They want to touch things and climb on the trains and play and have fun.

Very nice experience at the train exhibit. Not expensive at all and I recommend you take bottled water and snacks for the kiddos.

My 4 year old loved this place. He's a big train fan. The trains were coming by behind the museum fairly frequently - maybe every 20-30 minutes or so on a Sunday. He really enjoyed the table they have setup outside with model trains and buildings (they were decorated for Christmas). Pretty sure he would have stayed there all day watching the models.

Had a wonderful time at the event. My daughter, father and I learned a lot. Had fun riding a train they had for all families. It was worth the money. Congratulations to all the people that make it possible.

If you like trains or have kids that enjoy trains, this a good place to go. We looked around for a bit but one is not able to go inside the trains or the tower without the tour. We decided to do the tour which is include with the entrance fee. I am so happy we decided to do the tour. Our tour guide Sebastian was awesome. Very knowledgeable and super nice. I recommend going with him if you can. The trains are cool to see from the inside but our fav part was the education center which has some of the coolest model train towns(not sure if that's what they are called).

This was so much more than I expected! The museum exhibits were great, but even better were the restored train cars that we got to tour the inside of. The model train sets had amazing detail! Our 8 and 9 year old boys enjoyed playing by building their own train set in the Education Center. And the picnic area was an added bonus. Our guide was so informative and knowledgeable! This museum has something for people all ages.

Such a great museum. We took small grandchildren and all had great time. We love trains, and have visited many museums. The models, preserved structures and history are fascinating and interactive children’s area so fun we to bribe grandson to get him to leave for lunch. Lovely destination in downtown.

👍 Great park.. I can. Walk on the path and let my kids play in the playground that I can pretty much see at all times. It's a decent park for the area with public restrooms but they were soaked when we went to visit. So much so that we hated using them. It looked like someone just took a hose in there...
