March, April and May is one of the best times to visit the Victoria Falls. The water is still plentiful and the falls is simply awesome. If you view the falls from the Knife Edge bridge you definitely need a raincoat and plastic shoes. For the showers from the falls will definitely soak you. Fortunately there are raincoats for hire if you don't have one.You can also buy curios which are available on site.

Breathtaking! Come prepared with a poncho raincoat or get soaked. The water is warm and getting drenched is part of the fun. It is quite busy but there’s no rush and you can see and enjoy it all. Many friendly people and lots of opportunity to take photos.

You have to do this, it was incredibly amazing however a little scary at the same time. That being said it was so worth it, the staff is wonderful. They're helpful and patient and they make sure everyone is safe and most of all having fun! Although they were getting too close to the edge for my comfort, they do it so they can get great pictures of you do this amazing activity! They know what they're doing so please be sure to listen and follow their lead. We are definitely coming back to do this again one day!!

Truly breathtaking! This majestic waterfall is a must do not just if you in the area but in general. There’s a stark contrast in what you see and experience depending on how full the Zambezi river is which varies throughout the year. Truly amazing. Make sure you get a poncho !

Victoria Falls, or The Smoke That Thunders, is a waterfall in southern Africa on the Zambezi River at the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe. It has been described by CNN as one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the world. While it is neither the highest nor the widest waterfall in the world, Victoria Falls is classified as the largest, based on its combined width of 1,708 m (5,604 ft) and height of 108 m (354 ft), resulting in the world's largest sheet of falling water. Victoria Falls is roughly twice the height of North America's Niagara Falls and well over twice the width of its Horseshoe Falls.

I visited Victoria Falls at the end of December. The water level was low enough to allow for tours to Devils Pool. I secured my reservation online about a month in advance. There is not much communication with the company that runs the operation however, and I had a significant amount of difficulty booking the tour online. I went so far as to use WhatsApp and other methods to get in touch with someone. Technically I should deduct a star for that, but the experience on the tour was so great that I couldn't bring myself to give anything less than five stars here. I was staying in Victoria Falls so I needed to make my way to Zambia for the tour. Crossing the boarder on foot was quite easy and the walk from the board to theRoyal Livingston was short enough that I would not recommend a taxi. The Royal Livingston where the tour begins was truly wondrous. It has an amazing feel to it. No one hassled me upon entry and I was able tow hit on a beautiful sundeck over looking the river while I waited for the boat ride. The boat ride only took about 2 minutes and was an experience in itself. There was a locked area for everyone to place their belongings for safe keeping. Once I arrived on the island at the edge fo the falls we were taken to several spots for photos. The tour operators take a significant amount of photos with each person's phone. It goes quick through, and they know the angles to get a good shot. After that we proceed to the pool. All cameras and cellphones were placed in a group water-proof bag carried by a tour operator. Crossing the river was safe and required a bit of swimming. We waited while he group before us finished all of their photos, then as a group we all entered the pool and proceeded to take photos at the edge. When you hang over the edge there is a big guy who will hold your feet. Just don't make any sudden or unusual movements and follow instructions. After that we had a great breakfast which was truly a delight because I wasn't expecting it. Don't forget to tip your tour guides.

I had an amazing time at the Devil's Pool. I went at 7:30 in the morning and it was freezing cold. Mid August. I had amazing pictures though. The Devil's Pool is for strong swimmers because of the currents in the river. But there's the Angel's Pool which also provides nice pictures though not as exciting. Tongabezi is doing an excellent job of the Livingstone Island tour. And the breakfast they served was fantastic as well. I highly highly recommend this activity if you're ever in Livingstone. It's well worth it!

Mind blowing experience to lie on the edge of a rushing waterfall (that image over the falls with your naked eye is forever burned into your head); intense adrenaline rush, definitely better to be able to swim. Speed boat trips also quite fun. Breakfast was tasty. Staff were so wonderful and attentive to your needs and preferences, and they were daredevils taking great pictures for you with your phone. Very well organized, towel provided, transport to/from launch site provided for fee. Pack a bag big enough to hold your dry and wet clothes for the trip. Take water shoes since the rocks can hurt. Switch out into dry shoes after. Make sure to swim, once in a lifetime!!!

Lovely views here and if you're coming to the country you absolutely have to visit here. It's surprisingly big, you go there realising that it's an attraction for a reason but it takes a fair bit of time going from one end to the other end and while doing so you are met with wonderful views the entire time. My only complaint would be the fact they charge different amounts depending on you the person visiting. If you're a tourist you will be paying a tourist tax and pay a massive amount more than others just to be allowed in.

Located on the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia, Victoria Falls is the world's greatest sheet of falling water, with a width of 1708m and an average height of 100m. The powerful falling water generates a huge spray which can be seen 30km away. The magnificent sight and sound of the falling water and the vast biodiversity in the region earn Victoria Falls its status as an UNESCO world heritage site and make Victoria Falls a highlight of the African continent. (Tip: Visit in the afternoon for better lighting, higher chance of seeing rainbow, and less crowd. Bring raincoat or umbrella and wear waterproof shoes with good grips as the spray from the falls feels like heavy rain and makes the road slippery.)

It is the dry season and the water flow of Victoria Falls is very small, so when visiting from the ground, the scenery is not spectacular. I can only focus the lens on the area with water. However, the scenery is still charming. Yesterday I took a glider to watch the waterfall from the air, which made up for the regret. We played in the Angel Pool for a short time and took photos. From the photos, this place is a bit dangerous, but there are deep enough pits to stand under the water, so it is not dangerous. Although we did not go to the Devil's Pool due to time constraints, it was still an interesting experience for us.

If this isn’t in your bucket list yet, then I don’t know what you are waiting for. The thrill and adrenaline is real and you are in safe hands with very professional guides. There is also breakfast or lunch provided after which is also nice.

Spectacular as always, magnificent to enjoy this natural wonder from the air as well as up close. Activities have become rather expensive since our last visit as everything is now dollar priced but still worth the experience. Remember to NOT bring an umbrella.....

The falls are 1,7 kilometres wide and nearly 550 million litres of water cascade 70 to 108 metres into the chasm below -every minute- during the Zambezi River’s peak flow. Victoria Falls is made of five different “falls”. Four of these are in Zimbabwe: The Devil’s Cataract, Main Falls, Rainbow Falls and Horseshoe Falls -and one, The Eastern Cataract, is in the bordering country of Zambia. The Devil’s Cataract The falls here are about 70 metres deep. They derive their name from an adjacent island in the Zambezi River where it is reported that locals used to conduct sacrificial ceremonies. With the advent of the missionaries, this practice was frowned upon and considered “devilish”, resulting in the name of the area. Main Falls The falls at this point are at their most majestic. With a wide curtain of water thundering down 93 meters into the gorge below and peak water flows of 700,000 cubic meters per minute, this section throws out a magnificent spray that continually nourishes the evergreen rain forest around the area. Horseshoe Falls This section is horseshoe shaped and is 95 meters deep. This section usually dries up at the height of the dry season between October and November. A beautiful rainbow can clearly be seen from this viewpoint. The falls are 108 meters deep at this point and are the deepest of the whole series. The Eastern Cataract These falls are situated completely on the Zambian side of Victoria Falls but have a stunning view from the Zimbabwean side. They are the second deepest falls of the series at 101 meters deep. Cataract Viewpoint A unique view of the falls below can be found by descending 73 steps into the gorge. David Livingstone Statue The David Livingstone statue can be found at the left end of the Falls near the spectacular Devil’s Cataract viewpoint. On 16 November 1855, Livingstone (the first Western explorer to view the Falls) wrote in his journal: “…scenes so lovely must have been gazed on by angels in their flight.” The Rainforest The rain forest area of Victoria Falls is filled with many unique species of flora and fauna. One can wander amongst the Fig, Mahogany and Date Palm groves while gazing at the falls from magnificent viewpoints. Many species of birds and small mammals may be spotted beneath the protective canopy of the forest.

Truly impressive with different areas to visit. The hike down to the boiling point definitely gives you a good quick workout. The photo trail is great for viewing knifes bridge and the Victoria falls bridge. And yes except you came in a bathing suit and flip flops it's best to get a raincoat and the plastic shoes that can be rented. My guide was knowledgeable. As of the time of my visit June the devil's pool wasn't accessible so if this on your to do list best to enquire regarding opening times before your visit. All in all quite impressive Unfortunately the Zimbabwe side was closed so crossing at this time was not possible.

Affordable entry. Guided footpaths with hand rails safe for children, and an excellent view of the beautiful falls. Clear path to the boiling pot. The water levels were high, and so the falls was full. A raincoat was needed if one didn't want to get soaked through, buy since it was a hot, sunny day, the water was welcome.

We really enjoyed our time and visit here and even though we have been here a few times before it just gets better and better every time. Love 💖 it and very proud to be Zimbabwean.

It’s a MUST in Victoria Falls as long as you are in dry season. Wonderful thing about the dry season in Zambia side is that you get to do Devils Pool. It is a bit rushed tour but you get to see the Livingstone Island and Devils Pool. In addition to the pool, other highlights include breakfast and rainbow. The tour guides do a great job taking multiple pictures and giving you guidance on where to go in the pool. I felt safe all the time and loved the experience.

One of the 7 natural wonders.. I had an amazing time with my girlfriend there. The place was great though the water levels were a bit low than usual. The best experience is when there is so much water and you could see the thunderous smoke right from a farther distance. I love the vegetation and the waters are just so wonderful. Speak of the boiling point, the island past the knife edge bridge and the Knife edge bridge itself ... Best spots ever. The bottom is fascinating too and so is the rafting

Hard to describe with words for I runout of superlatives to use. The mighty Victoria falls is a great spectacle to see. The best times of the year to visit is between March and June when the water level is high. Be wary of the monkeys that stroll around if you have any food items with you.

A majestic place, natural beauty. The world largest waterfall that lies on the Zambezi River. The pool requires courage to be able to get in. The natural falls are fascinating with safari around that provides habitat for several unique species of animals and plants. Game drives are available, helicopter 🚁 views are offered, bunch jumping and many activities for individuals, teams and families. Diversity of people and cultures are the most important part of the community you come across when you visit the majestic Victoria falls. The entrance fees are reasonable, you can arrange for camping 🏕 in the safari area and other surrounding areas at a fair price.

Such an amazing place! The views of the waterfall are a lifetime memory that you won't want to miss. We also did the trek down to the boiling pot which was disappointing as there was nothing there except you're just on the side of the river. No boiling pot. And it's very difficult with constant steps down for about 15 minutes and then coming back up the same, slippery steps of uneven rocks. Not too bad for a healthy person but if you have any mobility challenges you should not attempt the stairs. There are also a lot of baboons along the stairs to greet you which are harmless as long as you don't tempt them with any food or shiny objects or try to pet them. We did not hire a guide for the waterfall and it was definitely not necessary. You can walk and see everything following the trail on your own. Unless you prefer to have someone to give you information and history but it's not necessaryin order to have the same excellent viewing experience. Definitely recommend to spend $2 and get a rain poncho upon entry to the waterfall trail. Entrance into the national park for the waterfall is $20 USD per person.

Simply Heaven on Earth. We visited in October month, taken Guided Tour. It is worth coming Zimbabwe alone due to this Falls only. Complete city is transformed into a Luxury city with Hotel, Restaurant etc for Tourists. Attaching all Maps and Guid8ng protocol. You can find other vendors outside the gate itself for Helicopter ride.

Victoria Falls, Zambia. Awesome place to visit. Especially this time when the waters are on their burst and trees and grass are green. Great experience, great atmosphere. Absolutely friendly people around. It's definitely a must visit, get soaked in the waters falling. You really wanna have this experience, believe me. Best time to visit is when there's a lot of water. Like this time. Visit and Enjoy!

One of the natural wonders of the world. Went in low season with less water but you are able to see the falls. In high season the mist from the water greatly obstructs your view.

Unbelievable, amazing, one of the 7 wonders of the world. The park on the Zimbabwe side is well worth the entrance fee of $50 USD. There are lots of viewing points and around 2 thirds of the falls can be seen from this side. Be prepared to get very wet from the spray in some places. Take a rucksack cover and dry bag for specific items you won't want to get wet like a mobile phone or camera. You won't need a raincoat as you'll soon dry in the heat. There's a nice café on site and souvenir shops just inside the entrance as well as boards explaining the geology and geography, as well as the dimensions of the falls in comparison to Niagra and the falls in Brazil. There's also a bit of history of the people linked to the falls. You'll find a huge monument of David Livingston near the first lookout point. To finish off, take a helicopter ride around the falls. It truly is spectacular. The walk to the bridge is well worth it to see the spectacular gorge and people bungee jumping.

An absolutely phenomenal sight to see. So gorgeous and so beautiful. We went through the entire park in about 2 hours. Some areas were hard to photograph because there was so much mist, but the roaring thunder of the falls was audible throughout. Viewpoints number 2 and 4 were probably the best - the latter viewpoints were all misty. Also, bring ponchos or prepare to be drenched. I chose to be drenched and I loved it.

If you seek thrills - this is a good way to start. Devil's pool is a very immersive experience into the raw and sheer power of Mother Nature; and one of the most exhilarating and humbling experiences. To Note: this is a rather touristy thing to do, you will see large numbers of groups that are in the area at the same time, all waiting for their 30 seconds of glory in the water while the guides make you do several poses and take pictures of you. I normally hate touristy destinations, but this one was definitely worth every second.

(Translated by Google) Impressions are beyond imagination. The train traveling on the bridge over the canyon seems like a model. Water "falling" on the bridge up is a phenomenon of air vortices caused by a large difference in water and air temperature. And watch out for monkeys, they are intrusive, fast and they steal whatever they can. (Original) Wrażenia przechodzą wyobrażenia. Pociąg jadący po moście nad kanionem wydaje się jak z makietki. victoria falls is one of the highest falls in the world. It is a falls on the Zambia River, which is more than 100 meters in height. The water that falls from such a height fills it with a white cloud which makes it even more beautiful. The water falling in this greenery and these clouds make it a paradise. It is very cold here, you should take care of yourself. Here you will also see many types of animals, who are shocked to see you. There are also national parks nearby where you can do many types of act, you also get to see many types of animals in the park, among them, I liked the elephant the most. You can also enjoy boating here. Over all, this place gives you full chance to enjoy in the natural environment.

Absolutely breath taking, considered to be one of the seven natural wonders AND one of the largest waterfalls in the world. We viewed the falls from Zambia side.. stunning and not too much over spray which ment that we could enjoy its beauty so much more clearly. The Boiling Pot was amazing and worth the 629 steps down the gorge... where you can see people Bungee off the bridge and white water rating. A must see destination.

Lots Of Animals in the park and around park. specially African size is you can easily make difference. From Lusaka we travel but challenge was information with actual experience and suggestion was not available. Ours was last minute decision so no advance planning. So we make quick round around the National park. Suggestion is you need to book 1 camp site where you stay over night and then enjoy early morning or late evening visit. if no advance notice then food preparation for local can be challenge.

It is the draw-card of Lower Zambezi: the remoteness of this eastern part of Zambia. The Lower Zambezi National Park, founded in 1983, covers an area of 4,092 square kilometers along the northwestern bank of the Zambezi River. Step on board on a boat or drift silently pass the riverbank in a canoe for the best wildlife viewing, since most wildlife is concentrated around the Lower Zambezi Valley and the river. Elephant herds, sometimes up to one hundred strong, hippo, leopard, lion, buffalo, over 400 bird species – they all gather in this mesmerizing wilderness.

WOW! What an experience, from start to finish. Was taken over to Livingston Island where we were shown change rooms where we could get into our swimsuits. Our guide then took us over to the edge of the falls where we were able to take the most amazing photos. Rainbow and all. When the last group of people were finished with their experience we were then taken to the devil's pool. I have to admit that the current was a little strong in places but our guide was very professional in making sure we stayed in safe places. My husband who is not a strong swimmer was not going to do this activity but at the last minute decided to do it. Our guide was fantastic with him and made sure he was safe at all times. According to my hubby, this was one of the highlights of his trip...ours as well. When we were finished we were given a delicious breakfast. It was lovely sitting around chatting with other guests about our amazing experiences. Would I recommend this activity? Absolutely 100% YES!!!

(Translated by Google) Victoria Falls are waterfalls located on the Zambezi River (which here forms the border between Zambia, near the town of Livingstone, and Zimbabwe). The river flows into the cataract over approximately 1,700 meters wide and up to a maximum of 108 meters high. They give a remarkable spectacle by their particular arrangement: they throw themselves into a long fault in the plateau, to escape through a narrow canyon. They can therefore only be seen from the front at a distance of only a hundred meters. Taking into account their width, height and flow, they are among the most important cataracts in the world with Niagara Falls and Iguazú Falls.

Victoria Falls is a waterfall on the Zambezi River in southern Africa, which provides habitat for several unique species of plants and animals. It is located on the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe and is considered to be one of the world's largest waterfalls due to its width of 1,708 m.

Visited in 2018. Just one word .... Amazing!!! Victoria Falls is a must-see for many travelers to southern Africa. It's the world's largest curtain of falling water—a spectacular sight. It's also the name of the town near the waterfall.

No other choice than to give a 5 stars. Victoria falls are AMAZING. The bliss of the landscape is undescribable. Each and everyone must see it with her/his eyes. We spent 5h there, moving around to have different perspective of the view. The entrance is 20$ and tge guides are free (you give tips at your convenience). But if you are lucky during the low season (October-Dec)you can have a discount. There are shops as well around so you can buy drinks , and even souvenirs from the handcrafted market.

Iconic experience. Some sort of Code of Conduct should be implemented for vendors whose constant badgering can be very off-putting. I am all for supporting local business but it needs to be done on a win-win basis.

One of the wonders of the world for a reason. Still not discovered by most people, raw beauty. The waterfall is so large and deep, create a cloud above it, to be seen from far. Take your raincoat along. Lots to do and see around the Falls.

One of the most exciting, exhilarating and safest things I've done in a long time. They take such good care of you, I never felt in any danger. The lunch was a delicious three course meal... excellent. The boat ride out to the island was even fun. A must do if you have the opportunity.

This review covers the period towards the end of September and into October / November when it’s dry season at the falls . If you are staying in Livingston on arrival pay fir a KAZA visa , same price as a single entry visa that will allow you to enter into Zimbabwe and see the falls from that side . By this time of year the Zambian side is heading towards completely dry as you will see by the attached photographs . There is a $20 entrance fee unless you staying at the hotels next to the falls then you get multiple visits included in your stay , but not that exciting as it’s almost bone dry . The entire visit will only take you around 1 hour and it’s a easy walk . Between February and August there is much more water in the falls . If this is on your bucket list do your research carefully to avoid disappointment .

One of the best experiences! I visited in March, the weather was perfect for a walk throughout out the falls. The people were very friendly and helpful. I felt safe travelling alone during my visit at the Victoria Falls Zambia 🇿🇲. Get ready to get wet depending on the time of the year you visit due to water levels. Note: Don't carry plastic bags because it might attract the Baboons to you.

Stunning place! Great walking paths with great views, rain coat rentals available on site. If you are planning on taking pictures consider bringing a water proof case. Forget about a tripod, tons of water everywhere you can damage your equipment

The falls are incredible. You can visit them from the Zimbabwe or Zambian side. We went from the Zambian side. If you stay at Royal Livingston hotel, you can walk to the falls from the hotel. There are three routes. Do the photographic one first. The danger point route should be done last. When there is lots of water, you get very wet, so dress in shoes that can don’t slip and you don’t mind exposing to a small bit of mud. Definitely take a waterproof jacket or poncho. Some hotels will supply you. We were soaked through. The danger point views are fantastic. Enjoy the visit!

Must see stunning tourist attraction in Zimbabwe and Zambia. The waterfall is majestic and grand, stretching out for miles. It looks different from Zimbabwe where you see it from afar while from Zambia, you can walk right on top of it. The view from both countries are amazing. The sound of the waterfall is very loud and it's said that during the rain season, it will be thunderous. If you are lucky, you may see the double rainbow. Likely to get wet from the water spray, so be prepared.

One of the most incredible places you will ever go to, I wish I could've spent more time there, I'll never forget the sounds of the waterfalls and the feeling in my chest, I would come back here anytime. Make sure to wear something waterproof as the sprays of the falls do get you quite wet. Definitely a must see, when I was there different nationalities were charged different rates to enter so please keep that in mind.

Tip: bring water. These pictures are from the Zimbabwe side. The Zambia side is also beautiful. Depending on the season the views on either side will be different. I visited in November and the Zimbabwe side had excellent views.

A must see at least once in a life. Best waterfall I've ever visited so far. It i also true that it is far away from anywhere else, but worth to plan and visit. It is almost a 2h visit but worth it. If you want more activities you might take the helicopter view (worth it but expensive) and the boat trip (3h trip with free bar and snacks: you don't see the waterfall but you will see plenty of hippos, cocrodiles and elephants...a must also).

Amazing location - well worth the trip. There is not a single view point but rather 16 different view points running along the length of the falls. Highly recommended to do all as the view changes considerably. Go in the mid afternoon for best lighting. Need to be cautious with young kids as there are no railings towards the Eastern edge of the viewing area.

One of the most awe inspiring experiences. No matter how many times we visit, it remains a unique and impressive feeling to see all that water thunder down. If you visit the Zambian side, make sure to go early in the morning so you get to see the beautiful rainbow.

One of the three largest waterfalls (largest by width) in the world, it is an incredible demonstration of the beauty of nature. The rainy season dictates the power of the falls - November/December is the driest point of the year and May is the highest point, though when the water is at its peak flow rate (5500+ m^3/second) the visibility isn't as great.

The road to the Falls is not in the greatest condition and a 4x4 vehicle is required but it's definitely worth the time to see. Getting to the best viewing point at the base of the Falls can be tricky as there is no proper stairs and the wet rocks are slippery. Being sure footed and cautious is advised.

(Translated by Google) An incredibly exciting place. Insane - who would go to the edge of a waterfall that plunges around 111 meters into the depths. Exciting - when you do it and look over the edge into the yawning gorge. An experience of a lifetime. The question - would I do this again? Yes I would. Can I recommend a swim in this pool to anyone? Absolutely no. It is dangerous. A mistake here does not mean injury, but certain death. So despite all the insane tension, I can only advise against swimming straight to the edge. (Original) Ein wahnsinnig spannender Ort.

The Mighty Victoria Falls is a wonder of the Earth. The place is Amazing with water flowing like smoke. I would like to revisit the falls soon.

Absolutely breathtaking! If possible, also visit Livingstone Island with devil and angel pools! The rainbows from the water mist are incredible.

The Victoria Falls - The smoke that thunders. The largest falling sheet of water in the world! Victoria Falls is a waterfall on the Zambezi River in southern Africa, which provides a habitat for several unique species of plants and animals. It's total height is 108m (355 ft) and it's shared by 2 countries, Zimbabwe and Zambia. I witnessed the falls from helicopter and ground level and I was constantly blown away by it's expansive beauty. It's an absolute must visit if you're in Zimbabwe.

Hands down the best adventure we have done so far. As scary it may look, it's one of the best experiences you will have that you will cherish for life- Hanging over the largest falls in the world. We opted for afternoon Hi tea tour and it was perfect as the sun was up and we could spot some rainbows adding to the backdrop. We are vegetarians and our diets were so well taken care of. The chef prepares really fresh and delicious meal. The team is friendly even if you are scared to calm you down. Definitely recommend not missing this activity.

This activity FAR exceeded our expectations. Definitely it was the highlight by far of our 3 days in the area. Highly, highly, highly recommended. Don't be afraid, just do it. The guides will take care of you. Includes a High Tea on Livingston Island, and the food was absolutely delicious.

Beautiful and breath taking. April probably not the best month to visit as the water level is high and the mist makes viewing near impossible when up close. Have heard the best viewing is on the Zimbabwe side.

It is after all one of the 7th wonders of this world. Although in October, there was not much water flowing, walking in the park, hiking to the boiling pot was simply out of this world. It is a must see site. Add it to your bucket list.

This is a once in a lifetime - must do - incredible experiences. You cannot leave Victoria Falls without doing this! They picked us up from the Zimbabwean side. Easy and quick to cross the border. You may need a visa depending on your passport. Its best to go first thing in the morning (7:30 group) when water is calmer, its a bit cooler and there’s a better chance of a rainbow in the sky. (Later as the sun moves higher the rainbows are lower and in the gorge). It can be quite busy but you take turns in the pool and can still enjoy the incredible views. They serve a nice brunch and the guides are welcoming and friendly.

A definite must see when visiting Zambia. You will be amazed to see the shear amount of water. The sound, the smell, and being completely wet from head to toes is so so memorable. Take the stroll, it is so worth it. (We visited May 2022)

Beautiful falls. You cannot escape the rainbows. It is worth visiting on the Zambia and Zimbabwe side. They offer different experiences. If you walk to the bottom carry a stick to ward off the monkeys. I do not recommend carrying food with you.

this was an amazing experience :) I have never experienced a waterfall quite like this. Walking across the small bridge and getting soaking wet from the spray of thousands of gallons of water rushing underneath was such an exhilarating experience :) If you have a waterproof phone, take full advantage of it because anything else will get soaking wet very quickly. They do rent rain ponchos and crocs at a booth by the waterfall if you are not dressed prepared. Also the walk down to the bottom of the waterfall is just incredible <3 So much natural beauty, seeing the flowers and trees and the terrain. And the views from the river below are just as breath-taking. Just be careful of the baboons! (and don't leave your trash behind!) -visited April 13, 2022

I never get tired of visiting these falls. They never get old. Truly one of the wonders of the world. Visited during high water season and it was VERY WET. And the smoke that thunders was at its prime. Please do get a raincoat or you will definitely be soaked. Definitely worth a visit, although at a steep price for foreign tourists

Victory, goes to Victoria Falls. It's grand and visually majestic. It reminds of something that I'd see in a high-budgeted cinema flick. A walk along the falls will provide you with many photo opportunities. Bring waterproof foot gear and a waterproof poncho; sun-showers are guaranteed.

This was my fifth visit to the Victoria falls, & as usual it's always an amazing & breath taking experience. I'm certainly looking forward to the next visit.

  • 5/5 Danni S. 9 months ago on Google
Truly a magnificent and fun experience. It is everything that people say and more! Plenty photo opportunities in the first lot of viewing areas, further down it's just for your eyes to see since your camera and phone will get wet. Every step through this amazing place was worth the price of admission. What felt like torrential rain was the spray that came off the falls. Seriously, mind boggling. Make sure to waterproof your phone and passport in a waterproof bag. You will need your passport for entry. There is no need for a guide unless you want one, as it's pretty straightforward to navigate. Bring your own raincoat or poncho, some comfortable and slip proof sneakers or hiking sandals.

I decided to take a hike to the boiling point.Lets just say when going there for the hike best drink some water before and carry sufficient water. save your energy on the way down. The hike upwards is quite exerting. All in all,it was worth it 😁

The world's most biggest falls ever. Lifetime experience. A great sight to behold. Beautiful scenery for the whole family.

A must see destination with spectacular falls with multiple viewpoints. Don’t forget to take a rain coat as the spray is like having a hose turned on you at times. Stop by the local vendors outside the falls to pick up some great wood carvings. It’s also worth taking a helicopter flight over the falls for amazing views.

Privileged to be a regular here, birding hot spot! Pay entrance around 30 Us in dollars cash. Take your time here, in the high water season you may get wet.

I got there in november when the water flow was at a minimum, but the gorge is very impressive even with little water. A well marked path leads along the fall.
