Best place to have breakfast in shimoga-bangalore road. This place is quite crowded in the early morning. Taste is good. They serve in car also.

Food is tasty and reasonable price. Authentic local idli Vada and all other south Indian dishes available for the breakfast. Parking space available in front and surrounding. Cleanliness maintained, need a little more hygiene. Ground floor and upper floor also has seating arrangement. Little compact but manageable for quick snacks.

The best place ever to satisfy your extreme cravings for Dosa specially! As it was highly recommended by my friend, she took me and treated with delicious Dosa. I just loved it, I can surely rate Butter masala Dosa of Preethi canteen right next after famous Davangere benne dosa 🤤❤

I visited this place on the way back to Mysuru from Shivamogga! The ambience of this restaurant is very basic, it has seating arrangement on both ground and first floor. It also offers stand-eat option near the serving counter and they also do serve to your cars. Service was fast and professional. I ordered Benne Masale dose to start with and it was delicious. The palya served with it reminded me of my childhood days' eateries. Spiciness of chutney was just right. I also had Idli and Vada , Vada which was perfectly crispy from the outside and fluffy from inside. There is ample parking space on both sides of the road. Overall, the long waiting to have breakfast in this restaurant was totally worth. I would love to visit this restaurant again sometime soon just to have breakfast. Highly recommended for all.

Very arrogant towards customers who doesn’t sit in the car and order. That is what they literally say to the customers to avoid visiting the hotel if we don’t order from the car. Initially, we thought it was due to crowd but the behaviour of the cashier and the suppliers was very pathetic. Food was mediocre and overhyped. There are better places that offer better service and customer-centric attitude in many of infamous restaurants. Is it because that, if not you we have others who will stop in the highway and eat our dosae and attitude, maybe that’s what they sell. Disgusting place. Haven’t visited ever again and won’t visit. Easily avoidable one.

One of the iconic hotel present in birur...... Friendly staff and food was mindblowing i tried benne masala dosa, mosaru vada, pineapple kesaribath, maddur vada and filter coffee.... Trust me it was out of the world.... For masala dosa you have to wait for 30mins this indicates the popularity of the dishes.....

Very delicious and hygienic food. Benne (butter) masala dosa was the best. Mandakki and medu vada were also very good. Service was quick and efficient.

Excellent place for dosa and idly. Try the benne dosa here.. It's pretty famous so it can be crowded..Also they have seperate menu for morning and evening with idly dosa available both the times. They don't serve lunch and have mandakki thindi in the evening, car parking available.. My fav is benne kaali dosa

Great testy breakfast idlis and dosa along with great service form the team. Small canteen , you can order through your car and have breakfast in your car itself. No need to go inside canteen.

Service was fast and professional. They took good care of me. I ordered Benne Khaali dose to start with and it was delicious. The palya served with it reminded me of my childhood days' eateries. Spiciness of chutney was just right. I also had Vada which was perfectly crispy from the outside and fluffy from inside. The coffee was delightful indeed. There is ample parking space on both sides of the road. They do accept QR Code based payments. But I doubt about acceptance of card. Overall, the long waiting to have breakfast in this restaurant was totally worth. I would love to visit this restaurant again sometime soon just to have breakfast. Excellent restaurant for South Indian menu Masala dosa, curd vada, puffed rice upit, mandaki, khali dosa wholesome food. Humble authentic taste. Light on pocket. A must try on birur highway. 5stars But a bit slow service so please have a little spare time and enjoy the great food.

Pretty ordinary taste for a famous food destination in shimoga-bangalore highway. Felt disappointed especially with the hype surrounding the place. Benne masala dosa and filter were the only saviour. The sambar served as a part of idli vada was very bad. Kesari bath was okay at best. With due respect to the other people who love this place, I found this to be a ordinary food destination and one that i may never try again
