This
is
the
best
place
to
enjoy
your
family
vacation
if
you
are
traveling
to
Alapuzha
(Venice
of
the
east).
The
place
is
like
a
heritage
home
with
rooms
carved
with
wooden
doors
and
windows
giving
you
a
nostalgic
feel
of
living
in
a
"mana"
or
"illam"
(traditional
Kerala
ancestral
home).
The
owner
Mr.
George
was
very
fast
responsive
for
queries
and
the
caretaker
did
an
excellent
job
in
arranging
the
rooms
and
services.
I
would
like
to
point
out
a
few
Pro's
and
Con's
of
my
stay.
(There
are
no
major
cons
but
slight
improvements
/suggestions
for
betterment).
Pros:
*
Excellent
location
of
the
property
with
ample
parking
space.
*
Truly
blending
with
nature
and
sounds
like
crickets
and
sweet
tweets
of
birds
make
your
stay
blissful.
*
Calm,
Quiet
and
cool
atmosphere
with
the
host
giving
you
a
homely
presence.
*
Amenities
and
facilities
are
well
provided.
*
Breakfast
is
top
notch
with
homely
cooked
food
served
to
guests.
Though
you
have
to
submit
your
choice
to
the
caretaker
day
before.
*
Lots
of
greenery
including
garden
and
a
small
park
like
arrangement
to
hang
out.
*
Care
taker
is
great
guy
and
you
can
access
him
at
all
times.
*
Outside
boating,
roaming,
taxi
services
can
also
be
availed
upon
request.
*
Located
very
close
to
tourist
spot
"Punnamada".
Cons:
There
are
actually
no
cons
but
only
some
suggestions
for
improvement.
*
It
would
be
better
to
provide
a
pamphlet
or
leaflet
for
the
guests
in
the
rooms
describing
facilities
available
at
the
property
with
all
contact
numbers.
*
There
is
only
a
menu
card
available
at
the
room
for
an
external
restaurant
who
will
supply
parcel
food
to
the
guest.
The
food
is
top
notch
as
i
have
ordered
it.
*
No
refrigerator
in
the
room.
I
didn't
find
one.
It
might
be
available
in
the
top
most
selection
only.
*
The
breakfast
timings
are
not
even.I
observed
guests
coming
for
breakfast
at
odd
times.
Would
be
better
if
you
fix
a
time
slot
for
breakfast.
Like
8AM
to
9AM
or
something
like
that
and
notify
it
to
the
guests.
Overall
i
would
say
the
stay
was
top
notch
and
i
enjoyed
every
bit
of
it.
Highly
recommended.
