Very delicious homely meals. Fish is main. Price is little high but its worthy. We three of us had lunch there. Meals are main there. Normal meals with kappa and meen curry. Side curries are so tasty. Should be there at 12.30 pm. Already have a fish fry with meal and so tasted and spicy fish gravy too. With kappa its vere level. And we can order special fish fry there. We ordered thilopia fry. Its was also too nice. The masala used in fry was very tasty and felt like natural ingredients. Drinking water provided is mineral water. Sometimes there we should wait in que. No advance table booking there. No online payments. Should keep cash in our hand. One meal includes unlimited rice, kappa, curries and a fry, it costs 150₹.We were three and we ordered 3 meals, one medium thilopia fish fry,and three bottles of mineral water overall it costs about 810₹

first of all ... The old lady is so rude! we went there just to eat kappa and fish curry only and we just enquired the prices of fried fishes just to check whether we can afford it or not ! they didn't even responded to our enquiry and the old lady just told to their staffs to serve a big fish to us even without asking us ! i think the staffs has no voice there! they all are like slaves of her... maybe it's because of a local village and there liveli hood will be based on that income....! they behaved like we don't exist there ! when a big fish was served to our table i again asked them the price ! the staffs were looking at that old lady and didn't say a word to us...! it is sure that the fish would be above 500rupees! finally i told them that i only had 300 rupees with me! then that old lady scolded that staffs and realised that we dont have such money with us and taken back that fish....! and they charged two of us 200* for a little much of kappa and fish gravy😒😒 and that food was even not good! worst experience ever i had in my all life.....! i dont know that if her character is like that always...! but for me it's really rude....! and worst! ( did anyone had any experience like this?

It's a small room where the walls are roof are blackened by the every day smoke coming from the brick stove where dry woods used for burning. If you are more than 30 years then probably you had such stove in your home in your childhood and you know the smoke adds a subtle flavor to the food also and that authenticity is there in food from here also. Hotel is conducted by few senior women who serves food with affection. The literal meaning of the hotel "Akshayapathram" is everlasting food or "food will not be over in your plate" which is true in this case. They will give a lot of items like Fresh water fish Chicken Thala Kari Achar Chamanthi Thoran Fish curry Mooru Sambar Fish fry Ingi curry Pachadi Kichadi. Price for one plate is 150rs and that's worth it. It's a one time experience that every traveler should have.

Was a little skeptical about visiting with family because of the potential crowd, and my concerns were spot on! It was a Sunday, which probably made it worse. Getting a spot to dine in was near to impossible due to the long queue. Hence, I decided to try my luck on takeaway. A wait of 30-45 mins, some jugglery, and some exchange of words awarded me the desired result! Must visit yet another time when it is hopefully less crowded for a better experience.
