👍👍 Delicious. The tan tan ramen bowl was perfect, full of bamboo shoots, seaweed, egg, pork, and the best level of heat. I loved that I could order a smaller bowl of ramen for my preschooler. My husband loved the Big Bowl, and has enough for lunch tomorrow. I loved that the waitress was willing to tell... People often mention ramen, good, service, Ramen, chicken, Service, gyoza,

Delicious. The tan tan ramen bowl was perfect, full of bamboo shoots, seaweed, egg, pork, and the best level of heat. I loved that I could order a smaller bowl of ramen for my preschooler. My husband loved the Big Bowl, and has enough for lunch tomorrow. I loved that the waitress was willing to tell us about the different bowls and was so patient as we made our choices. So so good.

Excellent food, good service, and very affordable. The restaurant was clean and organized however the parking was a bit difficult due to the fact that the business parking lot is shared with the shopping center. Ramen - Ya is my go to ramen place in Hawaii.

A nice cheaper alternative to expensive resort restaurants. They have cheap prices and large portions. It's a fairly small shop so it did get busy. Friendly serving staff and fast service. The black garlic broth was so good! It was a bit oily for me, and I didn't get the impression you could pick oil level here. Still a nice place to get a good fast meal.

Delicious ramen for a good price. Not too salty either and the chashu is cooked nicely. I was expecting a miso egg based on the photo of the brown egg but it was just a regular egg. No big deal! But personally, I wish the egg wasn’t overcooked. It’s one of the best parts of a ramen. Service was courteous and quick. Would come back to try their curries next time.

Really delicious and very reasonably priced. Ramen was awesome and the dumplings/gyoza were very tasty, perhaps the highlight! Also (not pictured) the katsu was delicious. Service was great too. Would definitely go again.

Loved the noodles! It was not a tourist trap, so the prices were reasonable and they gave you plenty.

Food was decent. Customer service was great. I only took the star away because the AC was out when I was there. Hot soup and no AC does not mix. They did let us know that it was out when we entered.

Excellent food, service could be better. The place was almost full but we were able to be seated immediately. We ordered the Ramen Set Combo- mini Ramen, 4 pieces of gyoza and I chose the Mochiko chicken plate, while hubby chose the chicken fried rice. Big portions and reasonable prices. Will come here again.

Plenty of options for ramen, a lot of different flavors. While I enjoyed my Ma Po Tofu ramen, my family found their choices a bit too salty. They had the Bi Bowl and the Chicken.

Went there, and got the worse Service. Or basically got no service. Never came to check if wanted more drinks, and the male server forgot a couple of things. We literally watched him be very attentive to everyone else and serve them.

1st time eating here. Very good ramen and the portion is good. I think they changed menu. I should've took the pictures of new menu. I had paitan ramen. It's chicken soup... it tasted like in between tonkotsu and shoyu to me. It's something different and I actually thought it was good. Good service. Clean feeling. Katu curry is definitely alot in portion so take home the left over!

General sentiment is that the food is massive! We had 2 adults and 2 kids eating and we had a lot of non-Ramen food left over. The Seafood Crispy Noodle was delicious. When we went the AC was broken and eating hot food when it’s 90°out is a bit of a mistake 😅

Great service. Xmas eve and they waited for me to pick up my order while they were supposed to close early. Great taste and I was amazed to see the portion size. Katsu chicken was perfect and was enough to feed a family.

We tried this place on a whim and completely loved it! The Edamame, Katsu and Wonton Soup were amazing! The only thing we weren't impressed with was the Kim Chee. It was ok. But everything right down to the Service was awesome! We were seated upon arrival because they weren't too busy. But as soon as we sat down, the crowd started to arrive! Our food was ready in less than 10 - 15 mins The chicken katsu was melt in your mouth good. Definitely worth it!

Price was cheap but taste was lacking. We ordered the Tan Tan Ramen, Gomoku Ramen with Shoyu Broth, and the mini Shoyu Ramen Combo with gyoza and Mochiko chicken with rice. The ramens were not so tasty, the rice was a little dry, and the chicken was okay. The gyoza was yummy, but the casings were falling apart. Service was pretty fast and the dining area was clean. We are still in search of our go-to ramen joint.

We went to Ramen-ya on a whim and it was easy to get a seat right away. However, the ease stopped there. Service was pretty slow even though there were only 3 tables of people. The servers were kind and professional, just distracted. I ordered kimchi and shrimp tempura while my friend got ramen and gyoza. The gyoza was good (hot with a crispy bottom and good flavor) and the shrimp tempura was okay (not hot, but not cold, tasted fine). The kimchi was pretty disappointing. It was not spicy at all. The ramen my friend ate was just okay, high seaweed flavor. Overall, I was disappointed and wouldn't eat here again.
