    I am literally FED UP with this clinic. EVERYTIME I call, NO ONE answers the phone. I had to call the Waikoloa clinic just to talk to someone and get an appointment or to handle something I needed which is what I have been doing to get through to someone because all the other clinics NEVER answer the phone. It's honestly VERY frustrating and stressful. I have never had this problem with any other clinic I've seen before WHCHC. I just don't understand

    Doctors seems to be rushed and in a hurry to get you out of the office without fully understanding the issue a patient is experiencing. Referrals can take up to 3 weeks or more, but I just made the call myself to the other doctors office and have an appointment next week. Miscommunication with patient's reason of visit and poor time management within the staff is the real issue.

    It's a nightmare getting service here. They never pick up the phone and messed up my prescription. It's easier physically going in to schedule an appointment since nine times out of ten your call will never be returned.

    Always unble to get call answered. Not sure if any messages were checked in voice-mail. Have to physically walk in to try and speak to someone. I understand that they're going through systems changes. But this is frustrating...

    At 8 there is already more than 20 people on hold waiting to be heard and it to schedule appointments. ER doesn't appreciate you coming there bc your scared and have been in dire need for real standard of care let alone critical care. The uneducated personel answering phones, making medical appointments based on their uneducated guesses and many as myself not getting a real doctor or professional medical support. Placing uneducated locals in these low end paying jobs by the hundreds in Hilo has hurt the medical community further.

    Terrible admin. They do not listen when making appointments and it takes almost a month to see my practitioner. They have forgotten that they are there to provide health care services for us and treat their patients rudely and act as if we are there for them.

    Unfortunately this place is just continuing and continuing and continues to disappoint... my Dr. had retired, I was referred to WHCH for my medical issues and have had nothing but terrible experiences each time I've been there. The front staff is rude and short with patients, making me feel like I'm being a burden to them just about every time I've checked in. The information I wrote was entered in the computer wrong and it took numerous tries to fix before they got my phone number right. The wait time in the lobby is ridiculously long, I've been here now since 2:30, my appointment is at 2:45. It is now 3:38 and as I sit directly in front of the check in staff, noone even bothers to say or ask why I haven't been called back yet. I can hear the staff talking about me sitting here for so long, hehehe, but does nothing to reassure me or let me know why I'm still sitting here... I just dont get the complete un professional attitude here. Or the complete lack of care for patients....

    Dr Andle is super nice and I would give him a 5 but waiting an hour past my appointment time is unacceptable. The receptionist was not very friendly either. She seemed bothered when after 45 minutes I asked if I was next, she replied with a short yes. I then saw several other patients that had arrived after me called back.

    We love our care providers, office staff, and nurses here!!! We have had such positive experiences here. My son was seen by Rebecca O'Rouke for his annual checkup and she was wonderful. She was patient with all questions I had and was very kind on voicing concerns she had and she did it with such genuine kindness she did not make my son or I feel uncomfortable (our last doctor on the mainland had terrible bed side manners and I would often leave crying). Yesterday my son was seen by PA Ross Hardwick and WOW what an incredible man he is! He listened to my son (who is 5) talk about his fidget spinner and he let him show him tricks and laughed at his little five year old jokes. He also gave him outstanding care for a double ear infection. I called back today to see if he could do anything for increased pain in my sons ears and he spent two hours tracking down a pharmacy that carries specific ear drops and antibiotics that would be more effective for his increased pain. His diligence and sincerity was overwhelming and I'm so grateful to have him in our lives. We've also never had a problem getting an appointment and have always had our calls returned with an hour or two.

    Been going to the clinic since it opened. All the doctors I saw were wonderful. Unfortunately they don't seem to stay long before moving on or opening their own practice. During the first few years there was not enough doctors to go around, but now the time in the waiting room is minimal. The attention is wonderful - no matter how long it takes for the exam and the discussion.

    Worst Doctors in history. They don’t help you at all. I went in because of previous cancer scares, told them I was having symptoms and they prescribed me ibuprofen when I have symptoms. Pathetic. I asked for a YEARLY test for women, and she said I had one last year, and I could wait 5 years…Wtf? She printed me out information on heavy menstrual cycles, it’s like she didn’t even hear me! . At my daughters visit, the check in nurse basically told me to stop talking because he didn’t need to hear the whole story…I wasn’t even finished with why we are here for her? I will never return and I will make sure and file a formal complaint with the state-not that anything will change.

    No one answers the phone. No one calls back when you leave a message. Answering service apparently tly doesn't relay messages because NO ONE CALLS YOU BACK AND NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE. APPARENTLY NO ONE IN CHARGE OF OVERSIGHT AND NO ONE KEEPING TRACK OF PHONE CALLS BEING ANSWERED, OR PATIENT'S BEING TAKEN CARE OF.

    While here at this doctors office I was referred to Patricia Hopkins, a midwife. She is the worst person I have ever met in my life. She does not care about your needs or you as a patient. Might as well never take a pregnancy test, because to her you’re not pregnant until you go to a “certified ultrasound tech”. I left her care as of today because she couldn’t even get my due date correct or take the time to listen about my depression that I’ve been talking about for the last 2 months. She needs to retire.

    Oh, I can’t possibly see where any of the negative reviews are talking about. This place is amazing, the staff is friendly they do everything they can to make sure that you get the help that you need. The doctors are very personable and in tune, and they provide very comprehensive help. I got help signing up for insurance, they got me in as soon as possible. I mean if there were 10 stars I’d give this place a ten star review.

    I have been seeing Cassandra Travers for a few years now. I couldn’t be happier. She is kind and empathetic. Totally knowledgeable and medical care that we all look for. Cassandra works tirelessly for the good of her patients

    Been trying for FOUR months to obtain medical records. Hundreds of phone calls unanswered and dozens of voicemails unreturned. I don’t understand why this is so difficult! PICK UP THE PHONE!

    I have my primary doctor Reiko Barretto here who is great, staff always friendly and professional. Highly recommend this clinic.
