Clean, great access to the water. Lots of space that holds lots of people and gatherings. we were down here to surf today. This place was the old airport. There are plenty of bbq pits and picnic tables under covered structures. The bathrooms at Pavilion 1 were not open, but the showers were good to go.

Needs palmex Hawaiian thatching over the roofs to give it a Hawaiian feel than new paint to spruce it up. Also park needs to have camping.

I’ve been going to OA’s for a very long time. It’s not like it used to be. Although I can say with the right swell direction with a high tide going low and off shore winds, the barrels are insane. When you catch it just right the setting sun will light up the barrel in a golden orange color. Words cannot express the raw power and majestic beauty one experiences.

Great place, we used it to celebrate my in-laws 50 years anniversary. Has 2 grills, water bib and several picnic tables. The restroom is 30 feet away. Calm ocean, fresh breezes and amazing sunsets will leave a lot of great memories. Permit to use pavilion for reservations is required.

Nice surfing beach. Very exposed. Didn't see anyone snorkeling and the waves were pretty strong so leave it to the surfers.

Lots of room and parking and few people, but it's impossible to swim there. The rocks are dangerous even with water shoes and never seem to stop and there's urchins everywhere. Because there were so few people, we didn't really feel safe leaving the car unsupervised.

Great place for a sunset walk on the beach. Nice and long. There's still people so don't expect it to be private, but it's still a great place for a photo or two.

I would probably suggest that you go to the last pavilion. But I like the first pavilion. Because I like hang out with the locals more than the tourist spot...

Cute little beach for collecting seashells. Not the softest of sand though. Beautiful place to watch a sunset.
