This is the best poke we had on the island for sure. These folks catch it fresh daily and you can tell - really buttery texture and so delicious. Also, the team is super friendly and helpful. The shoyu ahi poke is my favorite hands down. Def try it if you’re in Kona!

My husband and I stumbled upon this Poke & Deli when we were debating what to have for lunch. Oh my word are we glad we stopped and tried it out... This is by far the best poke I have ever had on the Island. It was so fresh, the portions were generous and everything was so fresh! The fish was buttery and so tasty. We've eaten lots of Poke and have been vacationing on the Big Island for years and this Poke just topped the charts for us! The customer service was amazing! The ladies working that day we're so so sweet & polite. Service was fast. They have picnic tables outside if you want to sit and enjoy your Poke! 🍣🍚 My husband had the mini poke bowl and I had the Poke nachos! 🤤

Amazing poke in Kona!!! Big boy size poke was perfect choice 😄 We had umami tuna, spicy tuna, soy sauce tuna for fish. We got kimchi cucumber and broccoli salad (so good) for the sides. My dad had the turkey sub and he loved it as well.

Of all the food I had during my stay in Kona this poke bowl has stuck with me most. It’s the best poke I’ve ever had in my life. So fresh, so flavorful, absolutely sets the bar for all that is poke. Tiny little place but big time execution. Don’t miss it.

Decent. Little salty, and the spicy California was neither spicy nor typical California flavor. Imitation crab was hard and chewy. Rice was also old. Gets the job done but I’ll hold out for another spot. Great service tho. Thanks!

The food was very tasty. That tuna melt was amazing. Lady behind counter was nice. Waited about 20-25 minutes which was a bit too long.

We absolutely love the poke here. Everything's super fresh. In fact we were there when the latest catch of Yellowfin Tuna (pictured) was brought in. We would definitely be happy to go back anytime!

Great place tucked away. Awesome Ahi Tuna mixes and simple selection of canned drinks. Nothing fancy about the place, but you won't be disappointed with options/quality and flavor.

Best poke I have ever had. Great spicy and umami Ahi, would recommend if you are looking for a poke bowl in Kona. Lots of different sizes to suit all appetites, from mini at $10 up to the big boy at closer to $30. I had the $20 plate that was two scoops of rice, two scoops of poke, one side and some salad. More than enough for lunch. Cold soft drinks are also available.

I’m 99.9% sure this was the best poke I had on the island. It was so yummy, flavorful and fresh. The portion sizes were very good and you left feeling full. Highly recommend the broccoli salad it was so good!

Located on a busy corner of Hualalai & Khuakini streets but there is parking. If you want a quick bite, this is good. I had fish taco and the portions were generous, fish not overcooked, and tasted ok. Beware of sitting outside. I packed up my lunch quickly after I was quietly bitten 3 times by mosquitos.

One of the ahi tuna in the poke is salty. Poke portion (plate) is relatively small with a big price tag. Southwest poke nacho is pretty good ($12.95) and could do better with more dressings.

We had the plate plus, 2 of each plus a poke bomb (the poke bomb was by far my favorite). The broccoli crab salad was delicious when mixed with soy sauce and rice, the umami ahi was spicy and so flavorful. We tried the special furikake hamachi and salmon which was tasty but not the best. And finished with a side of Ube, which was crumbly but creamy still. Standouts we’re the bomb and the umami ahi for sure. Great side patio with a small view of the water. Must try!

Yummy poke bowls. Weve been wanting to try and found one of the only few open restaurants on Sundays. My sister and I got the spicy ahi, rice with all the sauce and topping. The oceans salad was not as good as I was hoping but fine mixed in. Lovely cute family run place to get the famous poke bowls. Would reccomend and come back come!

Decent poke. Portion sizes were small though! The tacos on the menu said 3, but had 2 small tacos. Poke scoops were small too! Taste was decent.

The best poke I've ever had! Tons of selections and very fresh tasting, employees seemed happy and very chill. Great experience over all. Close to the cruise 🛳 ship, definitely easy walking.

Pa'akai has amazing poke and side selections. We got the ponzu salmon and umami ahi poke- both were fantastic. We loved the tuna balls, the seared ahi sides, and macaroni salad. The prices are good too! Dont miss this place!

Best Poke! We loved it so much, we went twice during our trip! Highly recommend! They have freshly made poke in the cold display and also make it for you if they don't have the one you want. SO GOOD!!

Stopped here on a whim before heading to my last beach just before the airport. There were a few locals getting food which I took as a good sign. The fish tasted quite fresh but felt like the marinade could’ve used a little more eumph. Recommend the umami ahi. Salad was good but for the price most of the places you’re getting a second side.

THE BEST POKE on the big island! Found this place after spending the day at the beach. The staff was really friendly, I believe it’s family run. For poke, the portions and price may be the best on the island too. The coconut ube is a must try! The ahi was fresh and had the perfect texture. There’s also a shaded patio to sit down and eat, but we took ours to-go and ate at the beach. If you’re in the mood for poke on the big island, this is the place! Food - 5, Staff - 5, Atmosphere - 5

I went here with my sister the other day and we had a really great experience. The woman at the counter was extremely friendly and had a really warm energy. There was also a young girl working along side her and they were really darling with their matching aprons. Poke was great and I’ll definitely be back. I had the shoyu poke with brown rice and it was perfect. There’s also nice seating outside.
