This restaurant in a food court was such a pleasant surprise for me. Hubby was craving Indian food so I found a. dosa restaurant for him in a food court while secretly hoping the food court had my kind of food too. I did a very happy virtual somersault when I found this restaurant in a corner. I quickly pulled up the reviews and saw everyone raving about the Karaage. I was also in the mood for yakisoba so I got the bento as well as 5 pieces of the karaage. My gosh first bite of the chicken and we were all in love. It was the best fried chicken we all have ever had, crispy on the outside, super moist on the outside. All the raving reviews are correct. I really enjoyed my yakisboba as well but the fried chicken was beyond comparison. So good. The people working in this restaurant was really pleasant and kind. Food took a little time but that is to be expected as everything is made fresh to order. I wish I could eat here daily. I missed my friend who has a gluten allergy. As soon as I saw the chicken was gluten free, I knew she would love this. Highly recommend!

We found this hidden Japanese restaurant inside the food court. We tried the 24oz chicken boneless tights. You can choose two 1oz dipping sauces or one 2oz dipping sauces. They offer sweet & spice, sweet & sour, spicy mayo and yozu aioli sauce. We picked sweet & sour and spicy mayo, both taste great with karaage. Honestly, their karaage tasted fantastic even without sauces.

This was a great final meal in Kona. Me and my 2 boys needed to grab dinner before our late flight. I called 3 minutes before they closed and she was happy to take my takeout order. She was super helpful!! We got there and there was a big area to eat that she said we can eat at. There were fans and it was cool. We got a bento with an extra 5 pieces. It is right next to the kids museum which we will need to check out next time. Super friendly and a great end to our trip.

Gave 4 out of 5 stars because of portions. Very small portion of salad and only 2 small pieces of chicken. Mainly paid for lots of rice (which I only ate about half) & curry that had nothing in it. The chicken however is soo yummy. Very moist and skin is crunchy & airy. Hope they add more to the menu.

I enjoyed choosing which one to try from lots of food menus. I had fried chicken(Karaage) with curry bento. It was so delicious!! It satisfied my hunger only way back from the beach. You may have to wait for a little because of its popularity, but you can enjoy hot Karaage!

Probably the best tasting food we have on the island. authentic japanese fried chicken. the karaage is outstanding. curry was also delicious. high recommended. 2 thumbs way up.

Thanks to this awesome establishment, I'm having fried chicken for the first time in over 3 years! The gluten free fried chicken is delicious, as was the GF yuzu dipping sauce. My gluten-eating partner is enjoying the yakisoba bento box too much to contribute to this review.

This chicken is as legit as it comes, very tasty and crunchy, and the customer service was great. I highly recommend this place if you are craving some fried chicken. I would go as far as to say that this is the best fried chicken in Kona, and the price is very reasonable. Do yourself a favor get some tenkatori chicken in your life.
