Best tasting deli in Kona! Its a small place, no seating, but the food is exquisite. Sandwiches are what I usually get, an occasional soup, and every other time I get a desert. They are all good. The service is good, the menu changes enough to keep it interesting, but they always have the favorites. Would recommend for any pick up lunch or dinner. Huzzah!

Really amazing authentic deli, have not found one like it in Hawaii other than this one! Very clean kitchen, Christine the owner treats you like you are family, she has some of the best soups reminds me of my grandmothers cooking. Definitely recommend her warm sandwiches and fresh macaroni salad.

Excellent service and food! We got the minestrone soup and italian sub, best sub I’ve had in a long time, so classic and delicious. Lady at the front went out of her way to give good service and fill our soups all the way to the top haha! Thanks!

Damn one of the top 3 sandwiches all time in my 58 years of life....Just amazing, fresh....good size too...staff is great.... very happy and fun - even during a rush....great atmosphere all around ....no places to sit but still worth it....this is a hidden gem

Some great sandwiches. Portions are terrific and was fast. Can get very busy around lunch or before since this is such an awesome spot. No indoor seating but sandwiches are best enjoyed while you are out and about.

Should be able to give 10 stars! Christine is a pleasure to work with. She has taken care of our company lunches quite a few times and always leaves us satisfied and coming back for more. Definitely stop in if you're in town. Great sandwiches and awesome people!

Forget about it. True east coast fare italian style. Want a change from poke, spam and rice? Get a Reuben or homemade meatball sub! You won't be disappointed!

Awesome sandwiches! So fresh and delicious. I personally like the veggie wrap. My boss loves the ham, bacon cheddar melt sandwich. Compliments to a friendly and professional gentleman who works there. He is very focused and dedicated. He doesn't lose his cool during busy lunch hour. He just keeps going and going: little talk and lot of sandwiches!

The only reason they get two stars instead of one is because the place was extremely clean and organized. The menu looks great online but IRL, if they know how to make a good sandwich they're hiding that fact because the certainly don't do it here. If you don't already know better the photos online are nothing like what you'll get. The description/brands of the meats, cheeses, etc etc are nothing special. If I had ordered double meat on the "House Specialty Reuben" it might have had enough meat. They even tried to do that stupid truck where you put the most meat in the middle so it looks big when you cut it but there's no meat on the rest of the sandwich. They have a nice sandwich press but don't put any grease or oil or fat of any kind on the bread before they grill it. The quality of the bread isn't anything you couldn't get yourself at Safeway. It's REALLY disappointing after everything you read online.

By far the best little hidden spot on the island. True homemade Italian delights with classic deli food and snacks. Do not miss this spot. Christine is worth meeting she is a doll.

Came to get takeout Ruben sandwich and home made Mac salad today. Absolutely wonderful!! The staff was super friendly and attentive, Christine was busy hands on working ,as an owner should be, but not to busy to tell me about her home made products. I used to manage a deli in Oregon, everything also made from scratch. You don't find this often in today's busy world as home made is labor intensive. My sandwich was meaty, cheesy, oh so Ono (yummy!). The macaroni salad was ever so fresh. Crunchy veggies and fresh herbs made it delectable. Only 3 weeks left at our Big Island home but we will definitely be back and rate this establishment 11 on a 1-10 scale!! Mahalo Christine and staff.

I found this gem while staying in Kona for a couple days. I'm so glad I did! The NY hoagie (sub sandwich) was super delicious, fresh and flavorful. Custom made cause I don't like tomatoes nor peppers. Christine is legit, an east coaster who knows authentic ingredients. You can see how much she cares. I hope she opens another one on the Big Island's east side soon!

What a great spot! Delicious food if you don't mind a bit of a wait (just call ahead and order if you are in a hurry cause it's worth it!) They were more than willing to run with my 'chefs choice' request and it did not disappoint!

Excellent sandwiches! We always order these delicious sandwiches for the plane ride with macaroni salad or Hawaiian chips. This is much better than airplane food for sure.

Go here for sure. The great reviews are correct. Clean, Fresh, and Local. Great sandwiches, great soups. Next I'm going to try some of the amazing looking baked goodies! Service is all Aloha ))

A very good delicatessen for fresh, hot, sandwiches. We really enjoyed our Reuben and (Jilly) Philly Steak sandwiches.

It smelled like good food. It probably was, maybe. No place to sit. The person working by herself suggested we could try sittting at the tea shop across the street... We just left.
