Fun little farmer market. They have fresh fruits vegetables and souvenirs. Parking…. Before the market there is a parking when you first turn off that parking lot is paid to park and really expensive. If you drive a little bit more towards the market entrance there are parking free. Although it can be full on the weekend. We went on a Saturday, but still saw lot of spots left. May check it to save some $$.

While visiting Hawaii we ventured off the resort and into town for an afternoon. We had heard this little Farmers Market was a great spot and one not to miss. Being from an area where we have a wide variety of street markets and fresh produce I was amazed at all the different variety of items that were new to me. I wish I had taken more photos to share, but I didn't. The other items throughout the market were little novelty items, some handmade and such. Worth a stop!

Very small Farmer's Market but had excellent selection of local produce. The honey mangos are to die for, super delicious (but from Mexico so I've been told by one of the vendor ladies)! Absolutely get the huge King Mango grown on the islands, they are incredibly sweet and tasty but about $5-6/lb,around $14-$16 each. Variety of papayas were excellent, rambutan and longans were so sweet, passionfruit (Liliko'i in Hawaiian) varieties were so tasty and fun to explore. Apple-Bananas tasted like regular bananas but had a different more fragrant scent. I'd pass on those. AVOID: soursop fruit=super sour, not very sweet, exorbitantly expensive, price=per lb but I think we paid $16 for the soursop which we threw out. Also avoid mangosteens as you only eat the white inner flesh and waste everything else while paying $$$ per lb for it. Also Costco on the island has mangosteen for a much cheaper price. The lady at the far right upon entering has the best produce. Her Japanese Fushimi Sweet peppers, Shishito peppers, & Japanese cucumbers are SO good, as well as all of her fruit. Ripe papayas 4/$5, moderately ripe papayas 3/$5. Lychee, Longan, large Rambutan, Avia (delicious), Starfruit (you eat the whole thing) are all SO good, AND she remembers her regulars!!!

Slightly underwhelming farmers market, with most of the stalls being for crafted materials rather fruits or foods. There is only 2 food stalls and most of the rest are crafts. Expensive too.

Beware of the stall in the photos, the one closest to the entrance by the road. It might be the only produce stall there. Complete scammers. Can’t trust anything they say. If they say their produce or fruits are organic or locally grown, they are probably GMO pumped goods from the cheapest sources possible in the Mainland or somewhere else. I went to their stall looking for Hawaiian white pineapples. They were selling golden pineapples they claimed were from Maui for about $5. I asked if they had white pineapples, and they pulled a pineapple out of the back claiming it was a Hilo white pineapple and wanted $20 for it. Thought it was a bit pricey but I paid it, took the pineapple home, cut it open and it was a regular yellow pineapple. Took it back to get a refund, and they just flat out refused, even after cutting up the pineapple even more without my permission. If I wanted a yellow pineapple, I would have just bought a $5 pineapple from the supermarket. Total ripoff. Actually, ended up getting a white pineapple from the supermarket for $12. They are harming local farmers with their scams.

It is a small market, but all fruits and vegetables are very fresh and ready to eat. And they are really sweet! Even if you are staying at a hotel, you can fix a very healthy salad in your room. I got a mango (keitt), it was melting in my mouth! Pay parking is just next to the market, very convenient! Please stop by if you are around the area.

We came during Sunday lunch time but didn’t see much booths. The fruits like bananas, mangos, star fruits, and pineapples are definitely fresh and sweet. There are many locally made crafts and gifts, very unique and worth spending time.

I really enjoyed walking through the tents looking at all of the different items that you may purchase. The market offers a variety of items to select from clothing to vegetables to souvenirs. Located close to town and easy access.

Small selection as far as Farmers Markets go although, one true farmer has an impressive selection. Rest is more clothing. Maybe a quick stop to check it out. You never know.

I liked the variety of fresh fruits and had some that I've never had before like the mountain apple and the abiu fruit. Especially loved the papaya and the star.

This was a small farmers market with a variety of souvenirs and fresh produce. You have to look hard for local made items, many of the bins and displays looked the same from seller to seller suggesting the items were probably not locally made. Read the fine print or ask a lot of questions if you want authentic Hawaiian gifts and expect to pay more when you find them. They are out there.

We were here in December. We really wanted to get some Hawaii fresh produce and found this market about 20 minutes away from the hotel we stayed at. There were not many stalls, and only one stall sells fresh produce. The lady at the fresh produce stall didn’t look friendly at all. The rest of stalls are selling junks and souvenirs. They should call it flea market, not farm market. The parking is $15 per hour. We paid one hour parking for 15 minutes of market visit. It’s really a waste of our time

Very fun. Despite stories of re-sales & non- local items, plenty of local businesses. Compare prices between some of the venders tho! Met some sweet sellers. Bring your own bags🤙

Decent amount of vendors and great selection of fruits and vegetables. Everything looked really fresh, we only got a strawberry papaya! Some local craft stuff can also be purchased. Closed on mondays and tuesdays.

A lot less stalls then there used to be. But they still have fresh vegetables and fresh flowers and interesting crafts to look through. We will continue getting our papayas here much cheaper than the Safeway.

Great local produce, artisan crafts, and in close proximity to some great food spots. We got a pineapple, limes, lemons, and some island circus thown in for us to try.

So so happy to find parking and even a little shade because really need it in afternoon. Wish had more food, produce and, baked goodies....like mochi! Not like the awesome one at the mall in Maui. A sweet lady immediately across from entrance was the best and very generous. She gave my Mom extra deals since end of day and some items already prepackaged so she discount a little because we bought so much. We did most of our food shopping at farmers markets rather than supermarket and produce was super helpful when someone in our family got COVID and was better in less than 48 hours by only eating fresh fruit and veggies!! Can't get better than that....just drink a ton and lots vitamin C worked and my 87 year old Mother never got COVID

Loved going through the farmers market on multiple occasions! It's in a perfect area with a shopping center across the road as well and has great beach viewing across as well

I recommend that market no matter you like fruits and vegetables or not. After visiting that place you will be in love with local fruits and people. Thank you Kona Farmers Market for your hospitality🙌🏻

Nice midsize flea market. They have fresh produce, Hawaiian souvenirs, t-shirts, jewelry and locally crafted artwork. Many of the vendors are friendly and helpful, but not to much into bargaining. No food trucks or prepared food sold here though. But there are restaurants in the near area. There’s lots of free parking and it right off the main road.

😠 If I could actually see the show, I could leave a better review. I can hear the performance, and it sounds lovely. I only see the heads of others. We walked 2 miles to see this show, which is not their fault, and I have to stand in the back to see anything, then walk back. We were the last table inv...
