They don’t even deserve a star. Their customer service is horrible. Employees are moke status yelling out people’s orders. Rude and so obnoxious. It’s a bit embarrassing honestly. Definitely doesn’t give off a welcoming feeling. I’d prefer to wait and have Hot Dog on a Stick on another island or California. Employees are unethical. Using profanity while you wait for your order. Talking about partying. Who wants to listen to that. The manager is pretty careless about her workers or the company. It’s pretty sad. Maybe a re-evaluation of workers. Rocking gold chains, but if you was really balling you definitely wouldn’t be working at Hot Dog on a Stick.

Bad customer service. My grandson always buys cheese sticks almost everyday. But today 12/7/21 at 11am. The employee working there was not helpful. I asked to change a dollar for 4 quarters which mind you I do regularly. After I bought lemonade and cheese stick. She just flat out told me. "WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO CHANGE QUARTERS". My grandkid just wanted to ride the merry go round that is in front of the store. Customers beware. They don't know what customer service mean. Luckily the lady behind me save the day and offered to give me one quarter. Which was the only thing missing to get the ride going. Thank you lady. Whoever you are. You know what Aloha means! No Aloha for this employee

Ordered Zucchini plate ... got 3 big pieces and 2 small pieces very oily and soggy. Ordered fries which were undercooked, no seasoning Ordered hot dog which area around stick, meat cool, outside oily. Ordered cheese on stick, very oily, cheese not gooey Worst food I have ever gotten from here. Not the quality I normally get. Writing this post because we are now feeling sick.

Consistently consistent. Good quick food for kids and adults. They do fish and zucchini too! Staff is always upbeat and friendly. Little wait for food to be done but they make it fresh every single time.

I enjoy the fish but sometimes the zucchini is so unripe it tastes like chemicals and if you don't get a person who knows how to batter the fish it comes out thick and doughy.

I ordered a cheese stick. It took 20 minutes. When I went to ask for a refund they made multiple excuses as to why I can't have a refund and why they were in the right. Awful place. Awful workers.

I always get the fried zucchini and fried fish combo. Satisfying none the less.

I only liked the chili and know that’s it’s gone I’ve been in a depressed state in my life and I’ve been having withdrawals I still think about the chili in my sleep. •••PLEASE RETURN THE CHILI•••

Went at 4pm on a Saturday and was told I couldn’t get the fish and zucchini platter because the oil was low, the store doesn’t close till 8pm on Saturday’s. I Was disappointed I couldn’t get what was on the menu, that was the first time that ever happened. I will try again and update this review if I get better service.

Haven't eaten there in a while so we went last Saturday. Waiting for the shop to open at 10a. The employee was preparing things but when 10a came, I stood at the counter for over 15 minutes to be helped and I was totally ignored. Its lent season and really wanted to eat fish for lunch but I said screw this place and just left. Went all the way to Pahoa and got my fish n chips, was worth it. I went back to this bad service place today to get fish dishes again and I got more batter than fish and zucchini. Just horrible never again!

Good place to grab a snack and frozen lemonade is good too.

I didnt realize how good thier beef corndogs were! The service was really quick and they were friendly even when I was missing something. The lemonade is great, the funnel cakes good, the platters are made fresh. No wonder it's been open for ever!

service and bleh menu has gone down hill. menu hasn't changed in years just the prices. not sure how they stay open. there's nothing exciting about their food.
