This is my first time writing google review because I feel that I have to so other custom can learn the lesson from us. We rented our snorkeling equipment on 8/15/19, the staff worked there was not very friendly. I rented two sets for myself and my daughter, the price was $11 and $15. My daughter lost her due to a big wave at the beach and we were so shocked to find out that the store changed us $171 for a used set of snorkel. What a rip off, so be careful when you plan to rent there, do not be fooled by their low rent price

You’ve just found the answer to your question. Yes u can rent all the gear u need to snorkel all over the place in Maui. Yes the gear is good, prices are reasonable and there are beaches near here where you can snorkel. In fact, they’re the same beaches the tour boats visit every day and yes... there are turtles. We rented kids gear with the float belt and adult gear, great experience. The woman at the desk has a map and great local knowledge.

The store was not always open during posted operating hours. I was accidentally charged a late fee but Snorkel Bob's resolved the issue quickly. The gear was great.

These guys are amazing. Corey was amazingly knowledgeable of the island. He was also very knowledgeable about snorkeling, and body boarding and even gave us personal recommendations of tours for whale watching. They were really patient with our questions and helped make sure everything fit right and wouldn’t cause blisters or have problems. I was really impressed with the service. He was honest and cautioned us about the weather before we purchased anything. Check these guys out, well worth the stop. Thanks Corey and other guy!

We went and bought some snorkels here they are top quality in all aspects the gear is great and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly they pointed out where to snorkel and even exchanged my flippers after I used them for no charge due to them being to small. I highly recommend them!

Great employee working the store. He was kind, helpful, and efficient. I was able to get back to my vacation after just a 20 minute stop to get snorkeling supplies for me and my family. The snorkeling supplies were great. I paid for the upgraded snorkel which I highly recommend. Stop on in when you’re in town and rent from them. They also have a 24 hour return drop off which makes returns super easy!

We always you Snorkel Bob's when visiting the Hawaiian Islands. They always Ensure the equipment fits well. They have great rates for weekly rentals. I particularly liked that they offer lenses for people who wear glasses. That was very helpful for my son since he doesn't wear contact lenses. The Wailea shop staff member was extremely helpful. She spent about 15 minutes with us mapping out some of the best places to snorkel and she also helped us make reservations for a boat trip for snorkeling off of Lanai. She also gave us great advice on some fun places to visit while we were on Maui since it was our first time there. I can't say enough good things about this shop. The customer service was absolutely fantastic.

Friendly staff and tons of gear at various sizes for rent or purchase at reasonable rates ($8-24 per day, weekly rates are much lower). They have different kinds of goggles and fins which you can choose independently per your need. They also have swimming vests in case you need it. Returning is also really easy since you can return it in any Snorkel Bob in Hawaii and they also have a dropoff box in case the store is closed. They also have one day/half day tour packages that you can choose from for going snorkeling. They also sell T-shirts, bags and other gear.

I received great service and a lot of advises for the appropriate beaches to visit in the area. The snorkel gear was in good condition and right what I needed for a nice day on the beach. Also, I asked for advises for local places to eat and bars and the lady was very helpful and knowledgeable. At the end the lady gave me a small present for my little nieces.

Overcharged us. Rude customer service. There are lots of options on the island. Choose a better place
