Well if all the other places are closed and you need a beer this is the place to go.? Questionable but they had beer.

No bouncers on duty. Poor service. I was harassed by bar attenders for accidentally dropping a glass on the floor. Walked away to avoid getting jumped by 20 guys. I'm never going back there.

Awesome local vibes in this bar and grill. Great service. The owner is a sweety and a great cook. She prices herself on custom recipes as well as the kitchen makes great burgers and wings. They also have a great taco Tuesday menu.

The. Beer. Was. Warm. I mean, seriously? And I'm not taking a cask ESB served at cellar temp, the beer was warm and pretty flat. Service was decent, but the food was not. Pizza had a huge amount of sweet sauce, and the one we ordered had different ingredients than it listed on the menu. Our waitress was nice but you can't compensate for warm, flat beer and crappy food with polite service, unfortunately.

East Side Kitchen is located inside this bar. DON’T order food from the bar. Walk up to the small counter in front of the kitchen and order and pay. Waited 45 minutes for food ordering from the bar. Watched people get food who came in later then us before we did. Then bartender comes over and says kitchen didn’t get order and immediately asks if we want to cancel. Trying to rush the tourists off? Finally got tacos that were good. Street corn tasted like it literally just came out of the fridge (cold) Said fries were almost done. Finally bring the fries and we’re over done! There was only 2 four tops and maybe 2 people at the bar when we arrived. Will gladly take my $70 elsewhere it will be appreciated….. Do Better!

Didn’t know what to expect. Food was amazing I had chicken and stir fry vegetables! Definitely go back!

It is what it is. This bar n grill is a low key local style bar. With music, pool tables and TVs. Had the Lemon pepper chicken wings and it hit the spot with a Heineken beer. Look no further if your looking for something like this in kailua, boardriders is the spot.

Quick stop and fast service. Nice facility and compliant with covid restrictions. I enjoyed my salmon bento!

I don’t understand why this place charges $7.33 for a small Red Bull, and why the bartender would pour it without telling me how expense it is. Word to the wise ask how much the drinks are here before they start pouring it for you and forcing an overpriced sale upon you. The Red Bull costs more than an actual beer 🤯

Seriously an underrated place. Great atmosphere, nice home town bar but no one is there. Bartenders are amazing, great drinks, good bar food. Check this place out and give the employees some love bc they actually care compared to other places here!

Awesome place. Will definitely be back. The tacos were to die for...be sure to get the dipping sauce. Would give them 6 stars if I could.

Want to start this review with the fact that our bartender was very sweet and attentive. We came in and ordered two orders of tacos and elotes at 7:20. By 8:30 we still didn’t have our order despite being one of the only groups in the establishment when we first made our order. By 8:45 she told us that the kitchen only had one guy working and that he had just finished a table of 5 before us. The only other group ordering food before us and that even after us waiting almost an hour and a half that the tacos would take another 15 minutes. They didn’t discount or even have the cook come out to say something putting the heat entirely on the bartender. We wound up canceling our order and leaving to get food somewhere else. It’s a shame because the drinks and atmosphere were great.

If you gotta pick a place to eat, eat here! Amazing food and nice staff!!

Stopped in here and man was the bartender killer! I think her name was Maggie or Mikey but made the place way better, deff my go to for Kailua bar

I love this bar. If you're looking to experience HI and like more local kine, this is your place. If you're in Kailua expecting Waikiki, you won't find it here. Service is friendly and attentive, great spot to come catch a game. They host local, live musicians sometimes Saturday nights.

Great bar and bartenders!!! I love the food and music I’m not sure why there are other reviews saying they had a bad experience?!? Anyways definitely try this place it’s one of my favs!!!

This place is not for tourist! Bar tender was RUDE and locals were just as RUDE! Left with in minutes, there are a lot of great places to go eat & drink. THIS IS NoT ONE!

Perfect spot for plenty of tables & great local live music!

The bar itself is pretty quiet and not usually a lot going on but a good place to meet friends and have a drink. However when they have live music, which they do pretty often, it's some really great local stuff. Recently went to see Tavana play there and what a great time. Definitely go for the live music.
