Third trip to Kailua, yet first time at Paniolos! Staff was friendly, establishment is clean, food is fresh, colorful and delicious. We will be returning! EDIT: Another trip to Kailua, another spamming Paniolos for great and affordable lunch options. My wife couldn't get enough. Staff was always pleasant and helpful. Please consider opening up in Canada so that we don't have to fly all day to enjoy your delicious food.

The experience here was a good one. The flavor wasn't as good as I had hoped, but it definitely wasn't bad. The burrito was FILLED with yummy goodness. It was even heavy, so that's saying something in a time when some restaurants are skimping on portions. That was definitely a plus. There are so many other options in the area that I cannot say I would visit here again even if I were looking for this type of cuisine.

Food is great, pretty close to chipotle. i’ve been here about 10 times and the staff is always unhappy and rude. It’s uncomfortable and awkward. sent my mom in while she’s here and first thing she said was “they are super rude in there”. hoping for the owner to see this and fix the issue. It’s just sad that it’s multiple employees not just one everytime. I recommend the food and hopefully you have a great experience

This place is like chipotle. Kinda pricy but decent food. The streak is pretty good. The chicken kinda dry. You can only get one dairy option or you have to pay more. No queen options. No alcohol. They take credit cards and there’s outside seating. I didn’t see a kids menu and the cheapest thing on the menu was $11.95. Overall satisfied but not something I’d go out of my way to go to.

Simple menu makes them experts at providing consistent quality. I have eaten here many times. My only criticism is that when ordering jalapeño topping and hot sauce (at this price point), one would expect to taste some spice. Unfortunately, they have found a way to make jalapeños not spicy and hot sauce barely mild. Would like an option for spicy taste at some point instead of having to add it myself later. But, i will still come back.

Come here for your 6 little cubes of steak in your bowl. Don’t worry though, only another $7 for 6 more.

After a full day of kayaking and snorkeling we were looking for something delicious. We did t want to pay exorbitant prices for food either. Paniolos delivered on both - delicious burritos that were reasonably priced. Mahalo for a great Mexican meal in the heart of Kailua.

Delicious, make your own. I like low-sodium so I select extra rice and black beans which is less salty than other beans. And raw veggies & herbs. With sour cream or cheese. If I get cheese, the sodium from cheese is enough for me and is delicious especially if it melts a bit into the rest of the burrito. The churro chips are lightly sweet, non-salty. The sauce that goes along with it is sweet. Churro chips taste good both by itself and with sauce.

Stopped here on our way to the beach and it was a good lunch. We had some chips with queso, burrito, and a chicken bowl. Very good portion sizes and reasonably priced.

Came in a few weeks ago, girl just threw lettuce on top then put on the cheese. I ended up walking out. They only had two chips left and could not tell me whether or not I could have one. Aren’t you suppose to put the cheese on top of the meat ?? So it could at least melt? Not just throw it all on top of lettuce ?

HI-Mex place in a shopping plaza in a popular downtown pedestrian area. Similar to Chipotle with a very friendly staff. What I most appreciated is that I was allowed to have my dogs join me at the outside tables.

Each item had great texture, fresh everything. Perfect temperature! Hot, but not too hot. It overall just needed some salt, the food was bland :(

Your choice of your meal in a burrito, taco, or in a bowl, a base of rice or greens, and a protein. The free-range chicken was okay, the grilled veggies would've probably been tastier. Load up on the free toppings (of course guac & sour cream cost extra) to fill you up and make the price worthwhile! Two veggie bowls & a chicken bowl, with tax, was just under $38.

Good ingredients, pleasant staff, fast service. Dining area is tight but workable. It's pretty much a chipotle with a few local additions, but the quality is exactly what you need. Some pineapple or mango salsa, maybe some additional local flavors, would put this to a 5 for me.

Great food choices & a very filling meal, service is fast, very welcoming staff, very clean and beautiful establishment, I love the theme I come from a line of cowboys and love visiting there and enjoying all the posters boards on the wall of the old Parker Ranch Paniolas & 1 pictures has my grandfather.... I recommend Paniolos to all my friends & family.... Great place!

Much like a Chipotle, pretty tasty and quick. I thought the burrito was a bit small but it hit the spot.

Tasted like a fresher version of mainland chipotle. Portion sizes were very appropriate and I thought it tasted great.

Delicious food. We got the ohana meal and it was more than our family of 5 could eat.

Paniolos scratches the burrito itch in Kailua. The burrito building process is the same as other famous places, where you go down the line and select the ingredients you'd like. The end product was very good, though a bit shy of the best burritos I've ever had. Overall, it's definitely worth a try and will be a frequent spot for me.

Two burritos were amazing!! Well wrapped and all ingredients stood out individually! Highly recommend the veggie burrito with refried beans and sour cream! 1 side of chips is enough for two people! Enjoy!
